Absolutely incredible dining experience! You must request Kathleen and Tim! One of our new must visit dining destinations!
Great meal and great service. Our Anniversary brunch was so nice!
Gumbo wasn't as good as last time. Turtle soup & cheesecake are wonderful!
Great service. Super friendly. Never felt rushed. Never felt neglected. 👌🏻
The jazz trio added to the ambiance. The only minor thing was the food was luke warm, not hot enough for a breakfast plate. Other than that, we had a great time.
We were in New Orleans for Restaurant Week. The Palace Cafe is one of our favorites. The Crabmeat Cheesecake was heavenly. My husband had the Shrimp Tchefuncte and I had Catfish Pecan and I honestly can't say which was better because both were so delicious we had to share both. That creole meuniere sauce is so delightful and the catfish was so fresh and the pecan crust gave it the perfect crunch. We finished with the Corn Brulee. Who knew corn could improve my favorite dessert and the caramel corn on top was the perfect touch. Can't wait to return.
Great food & amazing staff!! Will return next time I’m in town and will recommend to friends as well.
Excellent! Iinteresting food prepared well and full of flavor. Great service.
Great service and wonderful food.
Everyone enjoyed their meal, my fried oyster salad had the best fried oysters I have had in my 3 days in NOLA.
Well it was Restaurant Week and $20 advertised for lunch when I made reservations. Upon arrival they told me it ended at 2:30 PM. After speaking with manager he agreed to let us have menus for $20 lunch. 2 choices - seafood pasta or Pot Pie except out of mashed potatoes for Pot Pie. We all got pasta and it was so so. Not the caliber food I’ve eaten at Palace Cafe during past dinners. Disappointed
People and food are outstanding
Awesome place! Service was excellent and food was amazing! Our waiter and waitress were both incredibly nice, and answered any questions we had about the food or drinks. Our waitress even gave us some tips on the best shopping strips in New Orleans and what other restaurants were good in town. It was such a great experience!
Had a window seat for two and location was perfect. We shared the crab cheesecake which was fabulous. So glad the waiter suggested it. Mimosa bar includes your choice of juice(s) and fruit and bartender was excellent. Coffee comes with warm milk which was a nice touch. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Awesome food and Jazz music
We had an excellent time at the Palace Cafe. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Out service was fun and well done. The meal itself was tasty. We truly enjoyed the crab cheesecake and the crab chops. The main courses were all well done. We finished with some fantastic desserts. The bread pudding is awesome.
A Favorite. Casual, yet elegant. Great ambience, great seafood, Three of us had the Andouille Crusted Black Drum (or was it Almandine--i forget)--delicious!! Great service
Had a wonderful special brunch for my brother! Enjoyed the music too. Wonderful service!
Always an amazing experience. Music, the food and drinks. So nola
Incredible food and service. We enjoyed our meal and our service. The flaming Bananas Foster was a special treat. Great place to bring out of town guests to experience New Orleans cuisine.
Server and assistant seemed over worked from my vantage point or either they stuck my group at an out of the way table.
Great food, great service! We had a really good time!
Would’ve given 5 stars, but my food came out a little lukewarm. I like a hot breakfast! Overall such a unique dining experience, amazing cocktails as well
Perfect, as always.
Our waitress Kathleen P. was excellent! She was attentive, accommodating and well-enjoyed.
Great, start to finish.
Service was perfect
Food was really, really good (try the crab chops!), service genuinely friendly in a non-obnoxious way, and while not exactly cheap, all things considered it’s a very good value.
Everything was great!
We were celebrating a friend’s birthday. The food was absolutely delicious. This is one of my favorite New Orleans restaurants and as I was told by our waiter, if you haven’t had Bananas Foster at a Brennan’s restaurant, then you haven’t had Bananas Foster.
We were seated quickly and our sever was awesome. I had the duck breast and my companion had the andouille crusted fish. Both dishes were flavorful. We shared the bread pudding which was amazing!
Claude was an amazing waiter. Good food and classic New Orleans dishes.
Great food! Bananas Foster cooked at table was fun! Jazz brunch very nice!
We always love Palace Cafe!
Food was delicious-esp the crab chops! Service was great! Very good experience!
What a great experience!! I started with the banana foster drink that was soooo good! Thw gumbo ya-ya was amazing and the scallops were so juicy. Not to mention the fried oysters!! Try to save a little room for dessert, as the white chocolate bread pudding was great, too. Jade and Victoria, our servers, were fantastic. Highly recommend!
Try this restaurant during the NEW ORLEANS COOLINARY event. The Palace Cafe has a "high temperature" lunch special. Your lunch will cost yesterday's high...ie today's high is 93- lunch will be $9.30. You can't shake a stick at that.
Great service, as always. Food is always very good.
First time going for brunch and it did not disappoint!! First of all the service is top notch as usual but the food was incredible and the wife really enjoyed to build your own Bloody Mary bar! Everyone should check out the Palace Cafe for brunch or dinner!
Very good food! Great atmosphere! Close to the hotels and Bourbon street
Good choice. Convenient location.
Service was good, food was amazing as alway.
