Palace Brasserie
You can sit in the window and watch the River Ness flow by or by the fire with a great book!
Lovely location and lovely relaxing décor enjoyed a really relaxing lunch meeting up with two family members allowed us to chat and totally relax after a bustling busy morning.
Lovely choice of menu very friendly staff. Only negative was coffees not hot enough for our liking but a request for a pot of hot water arrived very quickly and we had our lovely hot coffees just as we like them so well done. Our family is spread out so when we can we do meet in Inverness being central for everyone to travel too so this venue will definitely be our choice in future to meet for lunch or for coffee and cakes because it is so relaxing and comforting which will certainly set us up for our journeys home.
We both really enjoyed our food and had a great experience
Although the food served was good and will try again just hope the service has improved. Initial service was quick eg taking order but thereafter was not good at all.
Really nice dairy free dessert option unfortunately served with dairy cream and not fully thawed. Eventually rectified but took a long time.
I would recommend for a coffee or drink but the food was poor. I asked for my steak medium but it was well done and very dry. I would expect better quality for the price we paid.
Very overpriced! Sat down for dinner at 8:30 just to be told the kitchen was closed so we couldn’t choose from a selection of the menu! Really not worth it
Took my wife for a birthday Lunch, very nice layout, very very good staff in attendance and food good,I liked the coffee as well.
The Palace Brasserie was a very good choice for our dinner on the 26th of October. The service was excellent, the food was very good and we enjoyed a relaxing dinner.
Although I had booked a table online and received a confirmation email, when we got to the palace hotel there were no tables available and they said that the online booking system sometimes does not work. We finally got a table on the other side of the hotel which I think was the function room instead of the new brasserie area that I originally booked. The service was okay but getting our drinks took long. The food was okay but not great. The manager did give us a bottle of presecco (I’m guessing for not getting my online booking) which was nice but I personally wouldn’t go back again.
The venue was lovely with plush comfortable furnishing. However I am afraid Service score was reflected by the wine service... Waiter opened prosecco £28.00 per bottle, popped the Cork, at least a glass of prise Co exploded from the bottle landing on floor and chair (was cleaned up). Waiter exclaimed... Wow 1st time I opened one of these...did not expect that.... Unfortunately not the skill/ service I expect at a quality establishment in the centre of Inverness.. Food reasonable but expensive and serving staff attentive and friendly just lacking in skill. Blame management for this..
Very happy with everything we had service very good
Lovely location, staff and decor. Food was basic to say the least and overpriced. We won't return
