Pa’La means “for-the…” and it is forged in a passion to deliver food and wine that is inherently approachable and human to our community of people. It is a vision that originated in San Sebastian Spain by restauranteur Omar Alvarez and Chef Claudio Urciuoli.
Drawing from coastal cultures of the Mediterranean and South America, ingredients are sourced locally with wild caught seafood, organic grains, and vegetables.
On the main level, much of our menu centers around a hand-built wood burning oven, with a rotating menu of daily specials on our black board.
Upstairs, we offer a tapas menu and live entertainment on weekends.
Our wines represent small, family owned vineyards from around the Mediterranean sea with a personal story behind each winery. Our draft beers are exclusively selected from local hand crafted breweries.
It is Pa’ La’s commitment to bring a unique and unforgettable experience to the people of Phoenix and beyond.

The restaurant vibe is really cool! The plates are small and meant to be shared. The best dishes we shared were the short ribs (4) and scallops (2). The olives, burrata, prosciutto and marcona cheese tapa was very ordinary and the pecorino d’angio and salami was just ordinary A bright spot- the Smoky Manhattans were fabulous!

Great food. New waitress who tried hard but was still getting her feet under her. Would absolutely send our friends cause the food was delicious, especially the hamachi and sweet potato.

It was our second visit and it was as good as our first. We ordered mostly small plates so our bill was quite reasonable. Our waiter Trey was delightful and knowledgeable and added to the experience.
