It’s super causal, feel like a warehouse, but spacious
Great for wings Wednesday, good ambiance & energetic vibe. Would get the burger next time as an entree. Colorful dishes, the house wings with house sauce are tasty. Awesome place to watch some games. Strong drinks.
Always the best food, drinks and experience! I love bringing new friends and coworkers to enjoy this spot.
Mediocre food, and loud profanity used by other guests without any management intervention.
Great food and relaxed ambiance. Could see how it could be a great lounge/bar in the evening. We loved the food and the staff were very attentive and friendly! Cocktails and mocktails were great! Something for everyone in my family (with kids). Overall a great choice!!!
I fork with Pa’ina! Best wings on Wednesday! And the drinks sheeeessshhhhh 👌🏽
Amazing service! Yummy food and drinks!
The ambiance was good although we had teens with us. The actual meal was good and big. The appetizer was decent. Disappoint because a couple of items we order had to be improvised since they ran out of ingredients. It’s a Saturday night and our reservations were at 6:30pm so how can you run out of certain things already. The frozen pina colada was over rated I wanted a drink not a slush and definitely not for the price.
Had a great evening here. I will definitely be returning.
The food was meh, the drinks were overpriced, and the service was a bit non existent. Given food without silverware on the table, had to flag down the server if we needed anything since we were never checked on is understandable if it’s busy…. But it wasn’t even 1/4 filled. Lastly, how you gon serve oysters with out ANY sauces. No mignonette, no cocktail, no horseradish…. fishy and poorly shucked.
There was knats flying all over my food as soon as it came out . Chairs uncomfortable
Fantastic Duck fried rice. Delicious Pai Tai.
Our first visit to Pa'aina; party of four had dinner on a Saturday night. We were seated quickly, service was outstanding throughout our meal, and we enjoyed their selection of cocktails & drinks. We ordered many plates to share and all were ONO (delicious)! Favorites were the pork belly baos, duck fried rice, kim chee noodles & kalbi plate. Food did remind us of Hawaii, as we hail from there originally. For a casual and fun time, go to Pa'aina!
Terrible service and mediocre food! Our server was not very friendly
The wings took quite long for wing wednesday but definitely worth the wait!
Nice place for dinner especially if you're going to see a movie next door and dont want to eat the movie theater food.
A great spot to watch a game but with casual dining instead of the typical pub fare. Will go again :)
Awesome spot for sports games! Came here for Warriors play-in game and the room was lit! ❤️🔥
Good food and outstanding ambience
Really crappy service but luckily, the food is awesome. Stay away from the 8:15pm reservation, at least during the current times. Nobody tells you but they stop taking food orders at 8:30pm.
It seemed like they don't get to many black people in their establishment...no one came to take our order until I spoke to management...the walked all around us...avoiding eye contact...they advised they they close at 9pm...we had a 2pm reservation...now they close at 3pm...with a 2:45 last call...this was Mother's day and I was really annoyed...I guess that what I get trying to try something different...
Service was very slow. Most entrees came after an hour. The last entree about an hour and a half and barely warm. Like it had been sitting in the kitchen.
The food was good. The poke platter with three types of poke was a very generous portion. I expected the inside of the restaurant to have more Hawaiian decor. It had more of a bar, nightclub feel. Other than that the food tasty and the service was friendly.
The food was delicious and the staff was so nice and accommodating!!
Great place to eat! Awesome staff and the wings and other food is fantastic!!
I love this place.
The food is world class!
the pepole who work there truly care
Loud dirty sports bar. Giant tv screen. Speakers blaring sports and all the commercials. Disorganized piles of crap everywhere. Ambience and vibe are just awful. We got up and left before ordering. I guess if you’re coming to get hammered watch sports and eat wings you might like it. A nice dinner is out of the question.
Great customer service and great food!!!
Very, very average all around. Drinks weren’t great and food left much to be desired.
We enjoyed our delicious meal which was served in the outdoor dining area, and our server was very friendly and attentive. We try to dine out at least a few times per week to support struggling restaurants due to the unreasonable extensive shutdown, which proves to be ineffective since California is doing worse than states that have been opened for months. We are happy to have found this wonderful restaurant with excellent food and service, and hope it will stay afloat and survive! Good luck!
Went there for the Valentine's Day celebration and the celebratory menu was awesome. I had the short ribs and it was one of the best short ribs I've ever had. The bread pudding was excellent. I will return today.
They gave our table to another party and then made us wait 45 mins in the cold while seating other people.
We love wing Wednesday!
I celebrated my birthday here this past week and it was perfect! The patio seating had heaters and there was flat screens outside for entertainment. I'd rather opt for music, but the food held my attention soon as it made it's way to our table. The food was hot, fresh and soo delicious! I ordered the Pa'ina wings and kimchi rice. These sweet chili wings are delectable and totally worth trying. I will definitely be back soon!!!
Excellent customer service! Was seated inside but was socially distant from others. Loved their chicken Katsu moco! It was super yummy. Drinks were really good too.
Great environment for COVID dining. Staff was helpful and called to asked the day before if I wanted indoor or outdoor seating.
Today was a simple family gathering; we had some seniors so we requested indoor seating. The ambiance was great with very spaced out seating. Taste of food and quality has always been my favorite from this location!
had my blue hawiian drink remade due to bartenders error and when i got my drink it was half full with ALOT of ice in it, all for $15(Really?!!). Server didnt ask me if i wanted my spam musibi fried or regular. Overall for what i paid for, for drinks and food- the price is a little too much. I was charged 2x for the drink and had to point that out in my bill. I really wanted to wnjoy the food and drinks, but not a memorable moment. I would only recommend when they have entertainment night and im in the area.
I felt safe with their COVID-19 procedures. Food and service were excellent. They have the most amazing cocktails 10/10, I would highly recommend.
The food was excellent and the table service was cordial and efficient. However, the evening started out badly which set the tone for the overall experience. Let me explain. After I had made the reservation, Sean from the restaurant called and confirmed the reservation was for a table of six. I was asked if we would like a table inside or out. We requested a table outside. I was then advised that the table would be on a high-top and there would be a mushroom heater next to the table, to which I responded that would be perfect. Upon arrival, the host set a regular rectangle table against the wall and set six seats on three sides of the table. It wasn't a high-top table and there was no lamp. Picture six people on a table designed for 4 and only using 3/4 of the table. I explained to the host our reservation request and he said there were no notes in the system. He then asked how we made our reservation which I said thru OpenTable. He started to say, "that's why", which I then cut him off and told him of my reservation confirmation call with Sean. This was our first restaurant outing since Covid-19 started and was not comfortable sitting inside. In hindsight, being crammed around a table was probably not a prudent idea either. We're all friends and could deal with being crammed around a table but were not prepared for no heat and being seated NEXT TO A TV with the NBA finals being played. This I believe was the reason we did not get our reserved table. The high-top tables with the heat lamps were across the aisle and were occupied with 2 to 3 people each. These people were there when we got there and still there when we left. We were left in the cold with a blaring TV next to us. Not a good evening. For this, we will never go back.
