Great experience all the way around. Excellent server and very good food.
Service was great, even gave us complimentary dessert. The fries could have been fresher and less salty but overall no complaints about the meal.
My girlfriend and I have tried a lot of places in SLC over the last few months (Cucina Toscana, Log Haven, Melting Pot, multiple sushi joints, Antica Sicilia, Chile Tepin etc..) and this was our favourite. Doesn’t rival Log Haven in terms of romantic ambience, but our experience here was amazing. Great service, great setting and AMAZING food. 12/10 would recommend to anyone!
I always love coziness of Pago. You feel like you can spend an evening comfortably enjoying your meal. Service was great -- perfectly timed and attentive without being annoying. They have a great wine list, but was surprised that they didn't have any pinot noir. The waiter made a suggestion for something similar, and it was great. Food was great. Tried the jerk carrot appetizer and it was yummy. The restaurant is pricey but well worth it!
Delicious entrees from locally sourced ingredients made for an enjoyable meal at Pago. Interesting wines.
A neighborhood gem!
Market salad was full of flavor and wonderful texture, and, despite first impressions, not overly dressed as the dressing was light and not too saucy.
Trout crudo with cucumbers and grapefruit slices was fresh and light, and the cucumbers provided a nice crunch. Beet salad was a huge portion, with macerated strawberries. The crispy quinoa provided a nice texture. Fried potatoes really hot the spot for something starchy but not too heavy. Service was genuine and quick. The one negative was that my lemonade was too watery, otherwise drinks were well made.
Fantastic food, service, ambience, as always!
Pago never disappoints! Food is always great - fresh, creative and even a little indulgent.
Lamb was overcooked. Mediocre seasoning and taste and very overpriced for the experience.
Always great. Sat outside with our toddler so he could roam the neighborhood.
Delightful experience! Small, quaint and delicious.
Excellent choice. Wonderful service.
Great food and attentive
Pago is always delicious, the servers and staff are great; extra points we love that that plating is always so thoughtful and pretty and the accoutrements for cheese etc. are never run of the mill.
Great food would definitely recommend to others and we’ll definitely eat there again
Great small local place with very interesting food. Would highly recommend!
We had an excellent outdoor dining experience. Trout, steak and pasta all very yummy.
This was my first time and Pago and I would return in a heartbeat. Not only was the food good but our waitress, Claire, was fantastic. She put up with us as we joked around. Great service!
The potatoes in duck fat were incredible...for those alone, I would go back to Pago.
Great food, and service. One of our favorites to keep going back to!
Food is out of this world. The way they get all of the flavors on the plate to work together, its extraordinary. It's our #1 favorite restaurant.
Absolutely delightful as always.. The food is stellar and the service provided makes it the best dinner spot in town!
One of my favorites in SLC. The food is incredibly fresh. The staff feels like "family". The ambiance is relaxing. And the overall vibe, so good!
Hosted a work colleague from Spain here on a Friday night and enjoyed a lovely meal. Food was excellent, as always and service professional. Appreciated the recommendations on the menu. Thank you!
We ate here, and had such a great experience, we made a reservation for the next night as we were leaving the restaurant because we wanted to bring our friend that was visiting town (a fellow foodie) here as well. They hit on every front. We started with oysters and crudo (hamachi), then shared the kale caesar and beets with goat cheese before finishing with the burger and one of the pastas. All were excellent. The oysters and crudo were very fresh with good acid and balance in the sauces; the salads had a great mixture of textures, were not over dressed, and had great flavor; the burger was the best I've had in SLC so far (including the fries); and the pasta while a pretty small portion and a little under seasoned, was also hand-made and very fresh.
The only downside was that both times (despite asking on our way out the first night to save us one for the next night), they had run out of one of the other pasta dish which is the item my wife was most excited about. The second night, it sounded like they didn't have it at all that night which begs the question of why it was on the menu. Otherwise, the food, cocktails, and wine were all excellent and we'll definitely be going back.
A wonderful Mother’s Day meal overall. Servers seemed a little pressed. Two courses served before plates were cleared. Overall it was great.
Server was terrible. Food was bland. Mothers day but wasn't treated special.
I love Pago, and always have a wonderful experience there. The food is always top notch and the service is some of the best in the city.
Great food. Small but varied menu. Fantastic service. Very satisfying experience!
My favorite restaurant in Salt Lake City. Great for foodies!
We celebrated Mother's Day early, and we were all thrilled with our choice. We all loved the food!! Thank you Pago
This is our current favorite date night restraunt in SL. The food is perfect everytime and the service is impeccable. We ate out on the patio this time and it was fun.
Enjoyed every bite of very fresh vegetables and idaho trout.
The kitchen and front of house had not coordinated and there were several menu items not available. We were seated in a far corner near the restrooms, even though there were plenty of other, nicer two - top tables available, to make things worse, our table faced the windows and the glare was so bad that I couldn't see, I would have worn sunglasses if I had been able to. The food was alright, but expensive, and the ambiance was not good.
We were disappointed. Other reviews had been quite positive.
The menu given did not match the menu prepared by the chef.
Twice we ordered things that were not available.
Prosciutto on eggs benedict was not fresh.
Never had adequate silverware. Had to stir my tea with a knife.
And, it was a costly Easter brunch.
we booked this for my birthday, my friend told me it was really good. After looking through the reviews and seeing numerous comments regarding poor service, I still said “sure let’s try it”. Boy was I right... This service was absolutely terrible. So terrible we didn't even try the food. I made a reservation at 10:30 for brunch when they opened. It took about 10 minutes to get a table with no menus. Took about another 10 for someone to come by and get our drink order and bring menus. We ordered 2 pomegranate mimosas and 2 coffees (there were 3 of us). We got the mimosas quite quickly but no coffee... literally the waiter forgot about us at that point. At 11:15 after no coffee, no placing our orders, an no "I'll be right with you, sorry for the wait" we straight up walked out and left. This type of service is completely unacceptable.
Another great visit. Seated on time at a quiet table and prompt service. Relatively small menu but they cover all the bases. Their house salad is very nice. Their Pago burger is very good but quite large and hard to finish at one sitting and the Mary Chicken was very nice too and not too big. I think their fresh ingredients make the difference.
Pago has really stepped up its game in the last few years. We enjoyed everything about our meal, and will definitely be back.
We were accommodated on short notice with warmth and hospitality. The staff make you feel like a family friend and help guide food selections based on your interests. Definitely a great meal and area of town.
Good food, very good wine in a lovely atmosphere. Recommend!
Curie was great and the food and drinks were amazing .
