My friend and I had a very nice dinner at Pago. I had a salad made with butter lettuce. It was very good. For my entree I had chicken with polenta and greens. The greens were not my favorite but that might just be my southern roots coming out.

Food and service was excellent as always. The duck was fantastic. It was however quite cold and I know it wasn't just us. Many people in the restaurant had their jackets on.

Service was excellent, food was amazing! Silly thing to note but portion sizes were absolutely perfect. Split a bottle of wine and an appetizer, have an entree, then split a dessert and you'll leave feeling perfectly satisfied but not uncomfortably satiated. Price is definitely on the upper end of the spectrum but for thoughtfully prepared seasonal cuisine, a beautifully designed space, and top notch service, our check seemed more than reasonable.

The entrees were excellent but the star of our meal was the crudo of the day. It was exceptional. The unique combination of flavors was truly a success in all their dishes.

We loved the food -- every bite was DELICIOUS!! Our only complaint was the portion sizes for the price (There is no way the pork rack dish "comfortably" feeds 3 people -- it barely fed two. And, one of our main pasta dishes was more the size of an appetizer). We had skipped our other meals that day so that we could really enjoy dinner, so we were pretty hungry. We ended going elsewhere to get some nice, BIG, desserts to fill us up!

Our first visit to Pago was amazing. And it's rare that a restaurant impresses us twice in a row. But Pago did just that. The service (Jayde) was amazing, food was creative and delicious, and the wine was fantastic!
I can't wait to go back!

Came here on 12-10-17 and had a great meal with my friends. We had the brunch menu and each of us enjoyed different items and did not find anything we did not like or eat. I will for sure eat here again.

I have always loved Pago. Great food, innovative menu, cool vibe, great night out. This visit was a bit different. The service was particularly slow(in an hour's time we had only received our appetizers, both very good). The menu however seemed more limited than usual. There were no main course specials offered and the dessert menu was limited to 2 choices. These were disappointments and detracted some from our usual enjoyment of the restaurant.

Restaurant in the popular 9th and 9th area. Good parking and transit options. Excellent varied menu, good wine, and excellent service. Noise level that enables a conversation, which is sometimes hard to find in a restaurant. Limited seating. GF not designated but waitress was well informed. We will definitely come here again.

Thank you for your warm hospitality. Your beet salad was over the top! Bloody Mary's and scones were delicious.

Because we had hoped to be away from the traffic pattern, my preferred table is in the alcove partitioned off from the entrance/kitchen. Unfortunately those tables don't accommodate 3. We opted to sit near the entrance because I find the back of the restaurant too dark. However, the front door is distracting every time someone enters/exits. Guessing this is not the first time you received this feedback. Your food and service made up for the rest...but I'll request a table for 2 next time!

Pago continues to be my go-to spot since moving to the area a little over a year ago. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about their menu. I've had nothing but great experiences and I make a point to introduce it to family and friends at every opportunity. Their seasonal menu surprises me with creativity and their burger never disappoints!

We have been to Pago several times and each time is as good if not better than the last. The chef cares and it shows in his/her work. We love it for a nice date night or with friends. Great food. Great atmosphere.

Entering the restaurant, the hostess greeting us wasn't very friendly but once we got to our seat and received our food, we had an amazing time. The food was great and the menu was full of yummy options.

When the highlight of the meal is the blue cheese on the cheese plate, it maybe says good things about the person picking the cheese, but doesn't really say anything good about the food. The soup, bland. My gnocchi; not good. My hubs burger; so raw initially I could literally scoop the raw hamburger out with my finger. The cheese plate was good, but for 100 bucks I can make my own cheese plate with a lot more cheese.

Really great food. Great seat, as long as it's by the entrance and the windows. My friend ordered his burger with a salad instead of the fries. I changed my burger order to match his. They forgot to and it came the original way I ordered it. Still really good, though. Great wines. I would definitely come again!

I had been to Pago before and had a great experience, great food. I brought my significant other after raving to him about the food and I was so disappointed. Cheese platter had barely any cheese and 2 of the 3 were tasteless. The poached quail egg was medium boiled and again lacked flavor this time. My duck was cooked well but the sauce, again, lacked the flavor I was hoping to get from the wine soaked blackberries. My significant other ordered the burger after seeing the Yelp reviews...medium rare....I'll attach the photo. It could have walked off the plate. I was so excited for another chance to eat here but after this last time I will not be going back or recommend.

Pago was good as always and the staff are really nice and helpful with suggestions. The ambiance was perfect for having a good conversation. The restaurant is small so reservations are highly recommended. Overall great quality food, ambiance, and staff.

We haven't been to Pago in a couple of years and it will probably be that long before we try it again. The service was excellent-our waiter was very attentive. I ordered the salmon and asked for a substitute of fries instead of faro--the salmon was seasoned well but raw in the middle and a bit fishy to the taste. The fries tasted good but were cold, and there was nothing else on the plate besides those 2 things. My husband order the duck--he really enjoyed the flavor but it was very chewy. Our friend ordered the artichoke appetizer and loved every bite. I will give it awhile then try again.

Pago is a very convenient location for me and a nice small restaurant with a friendly waitstaff. We took another couple there for an evening of food and conversation. It was perfect except two out of four main courses were marginal. Both my steak and my wife’s duck were extremely tough and we would not order them again. Our guests had the pork and chicken and had no complaints. We all had a Caesar salad and found it to be very good.
