Excellent retreat from the Disney experience
Where we were seated was very unremarkable, almost like sitting in a nice cafeteria, only with a view of the lake. We started with the crab ceviche, clam chowder and a ceasar salad. The ceviche was good, but the chowder was room temp and the ceasar had no flavor whatsoever. The bread that came with cinnamon butter was very good. It took quite a while for the entrees to arrive. I had the catch of the day which I enjoyed while my husband had king crab which again was room temperature but otherwise okay. We chose to skip dessert after waiting so long for our entrees and because the overall experience was underwhelming. For the prices charged, we expected much better.
Our family of six had lunch to celebrate my son's 12th birthday. We live in Orlando and often visit Disney Springs, he saw the reconstruction of the Paddlefish and said that he wanted to celebrate his 12th birthday eating lobster on the boat. When making the reservation, I noted it was my son's birthday and we'd like to request a nice area of the restaurant overlooking the water. Instead, we were seated at the tail end of the venue in a boxed in room that catered to large groups felt like a banquet hotel room with an obstructed view to the lake, this was very disappointing. We waited close to 15 minutes before we were greeted by our server. During our waiting time we decided to select our dishes so when the server arrived, we'd place our order right away. When we placed our order the server realized the hostess/greeter gave us the wrong menu's, we had the dinner menu's. Keep in mind you've already had decided what we wanted to order. It was another 10 minutes to wait for the correct brunch and lunch menu's. We were disappointed with our options, so we asked our server if they can still serve some of the dinner dishes. Our server had to take another few minutes to ask the chef if we can order dinner items. The chef was very accommodating, so we proceeded with our original dinner selections. It took over 30 minutes to finally place our order. I was surprised that with the price point of the menu item, this restaurant doesn't serve any bread or a starter especially with waiting so long. Finally about an hour later after being seated we were served our dishes. I compliment the chef for going above and beyond in letting us order from the dinner menu. Our dishes were perfectly seasoned and cooked. My son couldn't stop raving about his lobster tails, he said it was the best his eaten. Our server did go above and beyond tackling the service issues, she was very kind and professional. For the price point, I expected so much more of the Paddlefish.
Food was ok- prices are high
The food is amazing and the service is impecible. It wasnt too loud. We ate in the room with the back of the boat out the window, so there wasnt much of a view. But other dining areas had killer views. Recommend reservations!
My husband and I are locals & drive to Disney Springs quite often just for the lobster corn dogs with a green salad at Paddlefish. We also enjoy numerous other items on the menu such as the calamari & lobster guacamole. This particular visit I took two friends who had never been there before for a “girls’ lunch”. They both absolutely loved it! We will all continue to frequent Paddlefish!
Outstanding food, very high priced, but for a seafood restaurant in Disney, that is to be expected.
Our waiter was nice enough to perform some magic tricks for our kids as an added benefit.
Alberto was our waiter. He was excellent. We had a wonderful experience.
My wife and I have both always wanted to go here and since I was coming home for leave I reserved us a table there and I enjoyed the experience. It was calm and relax and even entertaining. It was a nice night with my wife and I can’t wait to try it again once I’m back home. I highly recommend going here they even have food for those who are not really big into seafood as well.
Food was fair, presentation sloppy. Not as good as it used to be. Hostess was rude to people. Not Disney quality.
Nice Place... Not enough food & needs more selections
It‘s for sure a high price restaurant but has an atmosphere like a fast food restaurant.
Top deck is great for drinks and apps before dinner
Service was excellent. Joyce did a great job.
Seated immediately as we had made a booking a few days previously. Starters and drinks arrived quickly and were delicious. However when the main course arrived two dishes (out of 3) were not as hot as they should have been. The salmon and scallops were fine but the accompanying vegetables were cool. We returned them and the manager immediately came to our table to apologise. The food came out again quickly and was perfectly cooked and hot this time. The manager returned to ensure everything was good, however by now the third person had finished his meal. Overall the food was excellent......but we were disappointed that the food had to be returned. This is our third visit to paddlefish and the other two times were really excellent.
This used to be our favorite place. Although the décor and ambience improved when they turned it from Fulton's to Paddlefish, the food and service did not. We have been 3 times in the past month. Each time got worse and worse.
With Disney you expect a quality of excellence. This place was dirty... the windows were so filthy you couldn’t see out over the water... the table and chairs were filthy... we had to wipe the chairs off in order to sit down... the food was mediocre and overpriced... the waiter was in absentia when needed... Definitely would not return.
Great service got us in no wait
I miss Fulton’s!!! This was average at best and the shrimp was below average by far (frozen not fresh). We will be looking for a new favorite now that it is no longer Fulton’s.
Absolutely amazing! We sat overlooking the water. The Bloody Mary is worth EVERY DOLLAR! Our waitress was great-very attentive. We had the crab cake appetizer which was DELISH! I had the crab cake BLT which was amazing. Will definitely be back!
❤️❤️❤️ super vue, excellent service et délicieuse bouffe !
Robert did an exceptional job of taking care of us with appetizer and entree recommendations that made our visit one to remember. We will definitely be back.
Great food and our server Captain Handsome was outstanding! We will be back on our next trip to Florida.
Great service and great food. Arrived 1 hour prior to reservation time but worked to seat us anyway. Was seated approx 30 minutes before reservation time.
The service was extremely slow and server rarely smiled or visited our table. The lobster bisque was bland as well as the shrimp and pasta. Crab cake was very mushy as though it was under cooked. There we're 5 in our party and none of is finished our meals.
The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, as was the view. Our server was incredibly nice; however it took over an hour to get our food, and he came several times promising it would be out in less than a minute, and then disappeared for 15-20 minutes. By time we did get our food, the fish was dry. My pasta was mediocre, though the shrimp themselves were high quality and well cooked.
At first was told there’d be 45 min to an hour wait. Was able to make a reservation for 30 minutes out. Got seated before our reservation time and the upstairs was practically empty. Waiter was good but the food runner was clueless. Didn’t bring appetizers (soup and shrimp cocktail first) instead everyone’s good came out except mine and once mine did come it was the shrimp cocktail and my bowl of soup all at once. Then, all four of us finally had everything and the food runner came with two entrees and tried to place them down in front of my husband and me, again all four of us were already eating. Turns out the entree were for the two people behind us without any food. The food runner couldn’t figure that out? Wow. Supposed to be high end, not even close and food not worth the price.
Galo provides excellent service. My wife an I both had the boil shrimp. Good but not outstanding. We also had the lobster app—it is really good and fairly priced. For Dinsey, it was a good choice.
Our server was terrific. The hostess staff not so much. We were inadvertently “passed over” after checking in and nearly 30 people were seated ahead of us, some without a reservation. We ended up with a very loud table in the bar area. Very disappointing.
amaizing place and full recommend for a relax lunch or dinner
Excelent recommendation from the waitress and all the food is great
Will visit this place in my next trip to Orlando
Scallops were delicious but lukewarm. The rolls they bring out were beautiful but cold and not fresh. Tasted like yesterday’s’ bread. Warm bread would have been nice with the cold hard butter they bring out. Skip the calamari. Small portion for the money. Fried green tomatoes are amazing.
All of our dishes were sea food and everything that came to our table was cold and not very tasty. It tasted like warm up left overs at best. I will never go back.
Food was delicious but the service was incredibly slow and our waiter never checked on us for refills on drinks, etc.
Very nice ambiance. Food was delicious and our server was great, Leeanna
Love the big boil cauldrons. The seafood that comes out of there is delicious! The chocolate creme brulee is a must.
I recommend the salmon to everyone! We really enjoyed the view of the water, friendly service and delicious food. A bit pricey though.
Very good food and wonderful service. Loud environment but it is to expected in a Disney resort area.
Nice atmosphere. Food was good. Didn’t appreciate the $28 charge for sparkling wine that we did not order! We thought it was complimentary. We were not asked if we wanted it or not.
Great service and waiter!
