Decent food and strong drinks
We went for Cinco de Mayo, so we anticipated it being busy. Our server was amazing and the food and drinks were great. However, the bar was so backed up, we had to wait an excessive amount of time for drinks. Then, we were charged regular prices vs happy hour prices even though we ordered during happy hour. Overall, it was still a fun time with friends.
Superb! This place is always great. Good price, great food, great drinks.
We ordered margaritas, our glasses were full from top to bottom with ICE! Maybe got half a margarita nothing but ice. When we pointed it out to our server she said “will that’s how we make them. First and last trip to Pacos
Nice Easter brunch! Migas, breakfast racks were great! Katie was a great server too!
Great food, service, and atmosphere.
I went with my family of five. The service was laborious, we just ordered water and that took a long time. Next we had a long wait for our food order to be taken. In between time the waiter was behind the bar looking at his phone. After waiting a long time for our food, four orders were presented instead of five. After five minutes everyone else started eating then the waiter said there had been a mix up and that the fifth order was coming. After twenty minutes and no sign of the fifth plate everyone had finished so we went to the cashier who adjusted the bill accordingly and we left with one family member unfed. Very disappointing we so wanted to like the place.
The service was excellent! I had the torta de carnitas, it was average. Not something you would write home about. The rice had a different taste. Perhaps like a lime taste to it. Definitely, won’t be going back.
Paco's is the best for fresh authentic Mexican food.
Did not honor open table reservation. Turned us away at the door.
Always great food and drinks!! Must try the anejo old fashioned when you go! One of the best tequila drinks in Fort Worth!!
The food and service was very nice.
Got seated right away. Server was sweet but service was slow. Chips and queso were really good. Food was okay. I had barbacoa and it was bland.
Great place with great service. Really unique Tex-Mex designer menu. Owner is present and is attendant to customer and staff needs. This is a great gem on Magnolia Ave!
Server was very nice and attentive. Had to send food back to be cooked more, but they did it quickly without complaint and it was good
Could not have been fresher or tastier! I wanted to go back again the next day, it was that good!! A tip for those trying to avoid crowds - since Paco’s stays open until 2am, there is a very light crowd during the early evening during happy hour.
Love this place so much! BEST chips and good spicy salsa. Molcajete bowl, fajitas, everything we’ve had is great. Small staff, nice to have them remember us when we come in :)
Great Mexican food with a nice atmosphere. The service was really good. Highly recommend for an authentic Mexican food experience.
I really wanted to love this place. The service was outstanding. They were very friendly and accommodating. We didn't realize we arrived just a few minutes after breakfast ended, but they had absolutely no issue with letting us order breakfast. Unfortunately, the food was just ok. My son had a breakfast ham burrito that he really enjoyed. Daughter enjoyed the Torta breakfast. Husband had the Huevos Divorciados and I had the Chilaquiles. Ours were the dishes that we did not enjoy. My dish was just very watery and just not enjoyable to eat. My husband's was just "ok". On top of that, we had a few flies hovering around our table which made things a little annoying. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the staff is superb though. Maybe we'll try dinner menu next time.
The service was great, as was the environment (we like to talk without having to yell at each other).
But the Mexican food (Valentines menu) was not up to our expectations.
Took my wife there for Valentine's day. Staff was friendly but overworked. We did appreciate their turning people away that did not have reservations in order to service the ones that did. Food was limited to a few items on a special menu. We will go back on a "normal" day to try their real menu. Overall we had a positive impression.
Great food and service definitely will go again
They did a great job with a large party, only one server and cook!
The menu had some original items and tasted delicious.
I would suggest perhaps some more vegetable/vegetarian options
The Poblano Queso soup is fantastic.
Best Franco Mex restaurant around! Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!
We dined on a Saturday night and the restaurant was lively. First of all the snail crepes may be the best thing I have ever eaten and I have never liked snails. They were cooked to perfection. Our table had the trout, the tlacoyos (sp?) and the pork special. No one was disappointed. Francisco and his crew did a great job. Thanks, Paco!
Best Mexican-French restaurant. Good, reasonable wine list also.
Really good food, not your typical TexMex. However, should not close before closing time, even if not busy
I visited Paco's after hearing around the neighborhood that it was back (must have been prior to us moving to Fairmount) and delicious. The food was good although not extraordinary. I liked the spicy salsa and they make a good guac (although the portion size was a little small for the price). The drink selection is sub-par but I was only looking for wine which they had. (For those looking for a margarita with your Mexican meal, this place only serves wine margaritas.)
Anyway, the place was practically empty. Which is a real shame for the good food. I'd definitely go back and try more of their tacos.
good local place.. nice inside and food is tasty.. will be a hit as word gets out.
Not impressed. Very limited menu selection. Margaritas are wine based.
Best Mex Franco food.
Best secret in Fort Worth cuisine! Hate to let y'all know, because I hate to wait for a table (of course that's why I'm an Open Table Super VIP!). Best REAL Mexican cuisine! And some unbelievable French cuisine! Escargot crepe and mussels are fantastic. Trout Veracruz is as good or better than from the fancier seafood places. Street tacos, albondigas, poblano queso sopa, guisado! Even breakfast is Great! Wine! Francisco and family are consummate professionals. I dare say best restaurant on Magnolia (ok, can't one up Nonna Tata, but it's great).
Not your average Mexican restaurant. Elevated cuisine, nice wine options. Appreciate the pairing suggestions for the house specialties.
Best Mex restaurant for foodies in Metroplex. Add French food and ooo lala!
We enjoyed our meal very much. The staff was so attentive!
Creative non-Tex Mex cuisine. Besides tacos, they have unusual offerings like salmon enchiladas (with choice of green tomatillo sauce or spicy red chili sauce), central-Mexico style mole dishes, salad with cactus, etc. Fresh ingredients and friendly service.
Appeared to be one wait staff short. Food was excellent & hot sauce great!
Authentic Mexican cuisine with gourmet touches. Snail crepe is unique and quite tasty. Enjoyed the Trout Veracruz.
The food was outstanding, quick seating, great service, I will definitely return to this place on more than one occasion!!!
