Overall, it was okay. Our waiter was very absent the entire dinner, but the food was delicious!
Wonderful frutti di mare!
The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
It was very warm, trouble with A/C. The food was okay. There was not enough sauce on the pasta but the pizza was good. The service was decent. I will not go back there are plenty of very good Italian restaurants around.
I wanted to like this place, but the food was a chain restaurant quality.
Two thumbs up!! Will definitely go back. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were fantastic.
We had an early dinner because of an event later that evening.
Not familiar with Chicago. The restaurant is located in an upscale-ish outdoor mall.
We were greeted by friendly hostess and waiter. The (club/dance) music was unexpected and VERY loud. There is outdoor seating but we chose to sit inside because it was a little too warm.
Our waiter was outstanding and knowledgeable. He was friendly without being overbearing.
Our cocktails were perfect (contessa and classic Negroni).
Our dinner was good. We ordered the special steak to share with the table and it was more than enough— we couldn’t finish it. Also ordered the caprese salad; unfortunately the tomatoes weren’t ripe and the basil was sparse — still we ate it all! The pastas were fine.
We would return, mostly because of the cocktails and excellent service.
Some of the best service I’ve had.
The restaurant looks beautiful and spacious. The service was friendly and the food was amazing. One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever visited.
So happy this restaurant survived the pandemic, but it’s so good (and so close to home). Food was excellent, reasonably priced, and the service was top-notch.
If you’re looking for a great dinner and a movie night idea, Pacinos is a no-brainer as it’s next door to the Roosevelt movie theater.
Thx Pacinos for a great dining experience!
Nice spot, great food, and friendly staff. Oh yeah, validated parking for up to 90 minutes.
I had dinner alone and wanted to sit outside - I couldn't make a reservation on Open Table for 1 outside, so I asked to sit outside when I got there and the manager/owner was terrific and accommodated me. I had a very nice Super Tuscan red wine and the chicken Parmesan. I thought I was getting vegetables in addition to the pasta, but apparently it was a choice - one or the other. So, be careful when reading the menu. My server was very nice and was attentive. Of course, the restaurant wasn't crowded either.
Good as f***
Our server, Bela was outstanding
What a gem in the South Loop!! My wife and I tried Pacinos for the first time and had a wonderful experience! A young man greeted us promptly when we arrived (also our waiter). We had a great table outside on their beautiful patio. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable, walked us through the entire menu and wine list. It was clear he was very experienced. The food was some of the best Italian you’ll find in Chicago! We shared a fresh burrata to start with, followed by mussels in a white wine sauce. For entrees we split a massive veal Milanese and an order of the rigatoni Calabrese.
5 star experience from the minute we entered until the minute we left. We were very impressed!!! It’s safe to say we will be back at Pacinos frequently.
Second time coming here and it didn’t disappoint! Our server Jack was awesome and we were pleasantly surprised to have him again! Definitely recommend asking to sit in his section!
Classic Italian cuisine that was well prepared and large portions
A wonderful find at Roosevelt Collection - gorgeous rooms with an extensive menu, enthusiastic service and really great food. Perfect for dining before the movie next door, but definitely worthy of dinner any night.
Great server. Awesome food. Glad to support the owner through the pandemic and beyond.
Beautiful place with excellent food and service! First time there and very happy it wasnt taken by covid-
I had the linguine neri con capesante. Delish! Thought it was going to be a heavy dish but I was so wrong! The pasta was light, sauce was full of flavor and the scallops were cooked to perfection! Pacino’s is my go to for ambiance, amazing choices for food and a great atmosphere.
amazing overall experience. The candied bacon old-fashioned is a must try. My personal favorite dish to eat is the Linguini Frutti di Mare which I ordered with Arrabbiata sauce.
Excellent food and service!!
The ambiance is the best part of this restaurant. Everything else is below average. The staff is under trained and clueless. The host and the bust boys were the only ones who knew what was going on. I had a reservation and it still took 45 mins for my server to come back and take our order. The manager and server left for 15 additional mins trying to find answers about the specials that they offered (cowboy steak they assumed I couldn't pay for perhaps). The food was "Italian like" American food. I had to send my steak back(decided on the NY Strip), it came back severely burnt. The manager asked how everything was and wasn't prepared to handle the answer. He offered complimentary dessert. The server then decided to provide better service once the check was paid. She stood awkwardly at our table for 10 minutes giving weird compliments to my children and asking random questions.... eager to see what her tip was. This restaurant won't last at this rate.
Absolutely amazing time and the waiter was more than helpful. He knew the orders and drinks just right to the point he basically picked out meals for us.
Food quality was not good, lobster ravioli did not have lobster, it was mostly cod or pollack fish mixed in, antipasti meat cuts were on on the way out, smelly and slimy. Pizza was the most generic, nothing to do with Italian traditions. Very disappointed
We are so sorry you were disappointed with your experience. Our lobster ravioli is homemade and we can tell you it is made with real lobster. Regardless of that and the other food, we hold ourselves to a very high standard and would like to make it up to you. Please contact us directly and we hope to serve you again soon.
The restaurant was very clean. Service was friendly and attentive. The food came fast and was hot and delicious. The malbec and pinot grigio wines were very nice.
Food was just ok.
We weren’t greeted properly I believe there were understaffed but the food was not like the first time my pasta was not made the same as the last time and I got the same thing. Overall they tried .
First time at the restaurant. Beautiful space and very friendly staff. Due to covid, very few people in the spacious restaurant. The food was delicious! I will definitely go back!
Great ambiance, fantastic service and wonderful food.
Just discovered this spot next to Icon theater. Excellent fish soup, chicken vesuvius, meatballs,, salad very fresh and plentiful. Great service. Free parking with validation.
Our 3rd visit, the server was great!
Will definitely go back.
Everything was outstanding. the service and the food was so great, we all had a great time, highly recommend Pacino’s !!!
This place is the BEST!
Outstanding food, service and ambience! Last minute decision to go out for dinner - this was a great spot to enjoy being out to dinner! Large dining rooms and an extremely attentive server.
Food was excellent!! Server did a great job despite being short staffed. We will be back!
Loved my experience at Pacino's. Half of us ordered off their Restaurant Week menu- huge portions for an amazing price (<$40). The other half ordered off their regular menu, which also had great options. The service was amazing and food came out right away. Will definitely be coming back!
Delicious food with amazing service
