   We sat outside overlooking strip, wonderful area, very accommodating, because heaters were on, and they actually turned them off for us because it was too warm. Food was phenomenal Sam, our waitress was exceptionally pleasant and they restaurant was very accommodating to allow substitute. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

   I love to come early for the Sunset dinner with my parents it's always a really good time and the food is always delicious. I realize that some people choose this place for a special occasion but me and my family are here frequently. This is the perfect spot to grab a quick chowder or have a nice family dinner - 5 stars to Pacifica.

   Love the menu! Options for different sized portions. Seafood stew is fabulous! Nice ambience. Wonderful service! A bit noisy, but it was packed-so understandable. Easy parking behind center.

    We met another couple for dinner. Our reservation was early so happy hour was in full swing, but we were placed at a really comfortable table where we could enjoy ourselves and four really great meals, 3 sea bass and one salmon. The women liked that they could have smaller portions. Our waiter was very good as well. All in all a really perfect evening and meal.

    Service was awful from the get-go. We sat out to have a drink and there was confusion about if we should go in to check in for our reservation. The two hostesses were not on the same page. Once inside, the service was decent but nothing to write home about. Overall a blah experience for how busy it was.

    Wish they had honored our request (when we arrived) for a cabana….since we didn’t specify it in the res. they didn’t seat us there —-but the cabana next to our table remained EMPTY during our entire dinner.

    After being seated, we waited quite a while for someone to wait on us. We had to ask for service. Food was very good although the ceviche was quite bland. They brought our entrees before we were finished with our appetizers which made us feel rushed. Other than those blunders, we enjoyed the restaurant and will return.

    We had a very nice experience here. The Chilean Sea Bass tasted delicious although that would be expected from a dish that costs $50. The service was as efficient as could be, but I thought our waiter could have been more friendly. It felt like he was doing us a favor by serving us. We were happy there was no music playing to add to the crowd noise.

    Dined here 10 yrs ago to celebrate Mother In Laws birthday and liked it so decided to dine here again. This is a lovely restaurant with nice ambiance and good food. We ate indoors but noticed some adorable outdoor areas with heaters. Our server was a little “stiff” but very professional. We spent such a long time waiting for our appetizers that the manager came over to check on us - which was very nice. We weren’t in a hurry (or starving) so the wait didn’t bother us much. Pacifica is a great place to enjoy a nice, special dinner without feeling rushed. The raw oysters were fresh but the accompaniments didn’t add much to the flavor. Would have enjoyed something more citrusy to go with the horseradish and cocktail sauce. The mignonette was not tart enough and did not add much flavor. Same with the swordfish ceviche. The fish was delicious but needed a little more flavor or something (which seemed to be the theme with All restaurants in PSP/PD). Highly recommend the Seafood Stew which had lots of seafood and lots of flavor! The swordfish entree was lacking in the sides/accompaniment dept but the swordfish was really tender, juicy and flavorful. It came with a “relish” and a salsa which both were ok. Felt like the dish was missing something to complement the fish. Was very healthy tho. Great restaurant for a special night out. Probably one of the better places to eat in all of Palm Desert, Palm Springs or Indian Wells area.

    We were a little late for our reservation but called ahead to let them know. When we arrived, they told us that our table would only be available for 45 minutes. They told us they needed the table back at 7 PM - so we chose to move to another table. We had a nice booth outside And moved to a table with chairs. As soon as we were seated, they seated someone else in the booth we were in and that was at 6:15 PM - so not quite sure why they needed the booth back. Otherwise the food was delicious and the server was excellent, I have the Ahi tuna and my husband had the salmon.

    Our out-of-town guests pronounced our dinner at Pacifica as one of the best meals they've enjoyed in months--and they are definite foodies. Always an excellent meal, in a beautiful setting. Our swordfish and Chilean sea bass entrees were fantastic--as were the wedge salads. Our waiter was responsive when asked--for ice to chill our wine and for knives after they'd been cleared away--just not proactive. Not quite up to the level of the food and overall experience.

    A very busy restaurant. Very good tuna dishes, salmon and sea bass. Many entrees served in small portions in addition to full size. Good short ribs. We go often.

    We are regular customers during the October to April season and have always had a great meal. We invited out of town guests who were quite impressed and everyone enjoyed the evening. But I must give a shout out to our server, Janeth. She really made the difference. Excellent attitude and menu guidance, witty and handled our rambunctious party members with grace and humor, and was a saint in the patient and professional way she dealt with a rather silly and extended discussion about how to divide the bill 3 ways. She came back within minutes with the task achieved perfectly! I was dumbfounded. LOL. Pacifica needs to keep this one! And new hire, Kathy, was adorable in welcoming us and taking us to our table. This is my go to restaurant in the desert. Never disappoints.

    We had dinner there yesterday . We had the sunset dinner, I had the salmon and my husband had the spareribs. mine was a little cold but very good. we were there to celebrate our anniversary. they gave us a complementary ice cream cake. it was very special and nice. we did have to wait a bit because they were very busy.

    Everything was excellent except the Caesar salad. The dressing was runny and there seem to be just a little bit of not so flavorful Parmesan cheese over just regular Romain, not hearts of romaine.

    Despite having a reservation long in advance we were seated in a undesirable part of the restaurant. While the service was adequate- the food was not. Would likely not visit this restaurant next time we visit the area.
