   I was super disappointed in the service. Upon entering we stood right in front of register where the hostess was and she didnt even acknowledge us for at least 5 minutes .... should have left at that point but didnt. We literally had to flag down our waitress after several attempts to get a drink.. worst service I have ever had. And the food was kind of a disappointment for the price. We will not be returning.

   Interesting that this review asked about noise. I don't like, and don't seek out noisy restaurants. Pacific Room is not noisy. Even with the live entertainment you can still converse. I have eaten there several times and Pacific Room has had consistently VERY good food, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the music is terrific. I recommend this restaurant highly!!

   So, my only experience with the food was the smell, which was great! I made a reservation through OpenTable for Valentines Day dinner @ 7pm. I responded "yes" to the "are you coming" email from OpenTable. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:55 and were told we didn't have a reservation and that there were no tables. The hostess give us a clipped "sorry" and no explanation why our confirmed reservation wasn't being honored. They made no effort to "make it right", so I felt like our business was not valued. Food smelled good, people seemed to be enjoying themselves, so I might recommend this place to someone else, just not for something rare like "date night" or a special occasion like a birthday or Valentines Day. Maybe on a "drop in" basis.

   Very difficult night. It was Valentine’s Day. My husband was served 30 minutes before me, they forgot my food. No one noticed that so I had to point out that I didn’t get any food. Apparently another server took it. So his food got cold while I waited. 45 minutes total to get my food while his got cold. The food was pretty awful, probably because it was cold at that point. They were very apologetic and offered to remove my dinner from the bill but then they never did. I didn’t eat it. I just paid and wanted to get out of there. Maybe it will get better with time for them. I don’t have any plans to return.

   The service was a bit unprofessional and unorganized. The fish was way overcooked and almost dry. The wine was great!

   They were having difficulty with the Open Table app, so our reservation wasn't honored. Luckily there were two open spot at the bar. The hostess was surprisingly rude and unapologetic about the technical issue, but our bartender was much friendlier and more helpful. The food was good and the drinks were wonderful. The music and ambiance were nice. My boyfriend and I went there for date night and had a lovely time, overall.

   Went on a Friday night to try it out and learned under new ownership. In fact the new owners came to our table to introduce themselves and ask for feedback which was a nice touch. They had live jazz music and second band had a great singer who seemed to have a following. It did get a bit loud that night if you expected quiet table conversation but was a great vibe. Food was Ok but service seemed overwhelmed and slow. Not sure they expected the turnout but server was even unfamiliar if they had Jack Daniels which seemed odd. We ordered a glass of wine and thought perhaps server forgot when it didn't show up for 20 minutes. Were told no its juts behind the other orders in front of you. Wrong answer and we said skip it and she did comp the first glass we had ordered. Owner also came over to apologize so they really do care and we will back to try it again. Really hope they can find the right formula as ita nice room and ambaince which is different than anything else on Alki.

    really delicious food, I had the peppercorn chop and she had the salmon. mozzarella squares with house made marinara also delectable. live music FTW! prices are a bit on the high side.
