Casual modern vibe with excellent food
I had an amazing experience at Pacific Hideaway. The food was delicious and had a wide range of items to choose from. You could pick something lite to eat such as a salad or something in the heavier side such as a steak. The ambiance was relaxing and the restaurant is in walking distance to the beach. I enjoyed my experience and would definitely be returning again for another brunch day.
Excellent food & views ! A must for a lovely breakfast !
Cute little place, casual, good service, really fun drinks!!
They were just so nice to our dogs!
Great place to sit on the balcony and get a glimpse of the ocean
Nice acoustic guitar and singer outside on Thursday nights
Good fish-n-chips (halibut) & fish tacos
Dogs loved hanging out there
Huntington Beach weekend getaway.
We ate in the hotel restaurant. Good food and drinks, great outside dining with ocean view!
When there for the first time a week and a half ago… was fabulous. Told everyone in Newport about it. Was going to be my new favorite spot! But not now.
My female server, long blonde hair, was not accommodating or attentive at all.
I asked for a craft cocktail and she told me I couldn’t deviate from the menu. I asked her if she could ask the bartender because the male server from the previous week was super accommodating and said of course. There was only two other tables in the restaurant, they weren’t doing anything and obviously had time.
Then she served cocktails to the other table, then ours last.
Guacamole was not at all the same as the previous week. Pineapple was maybe mixed in a bit, looked like it was scraped from another plate.
Tacos weren’t big like last time, and the beef was almost all fat.
Pad Thai, tiny frozen shrimp and no flavor or color.
Our server never came over again to check on us and we asked the bus boy, who was accommodating for hot sauce and more water.
I had to get up around find our server to bring our cheque. I had to remind her 10 minutes later by motioning it.
So so disappointing.
An expensive, bland, disappointing experience!!!
Great bfast spot. View ,food and drinks. Decent crowd adding to the ambience. Bathrooms are clean and require a code to get in. Privacy. Overall a great spot to start a day off
It's a hotel restaurant which means everything is OVERPRICED. Nice service though.
Everything we ordered here was SO GOOD. From the cauliflower appetizer, to the short rib grilled cheese and the blackened salmon, we couldn’t believe how amazing it was. It helps that our server was right on top of our drinks and even brought out extra hummus when we ran out! The location is great and the ambiance is perfect for a night out where you want to be able to talk to your date instead of being drowned out by the music. We will definitely be back!
The service was great! Food was amazing! And there was live music..such a great night in HB.
Great ambiance, food is good. Would recommend for a nice dinner with a view.
Great happy hour prices and the crispy cauliflower was delish!
Amazing restaurant! Great vibes, food, and drinks! And lots of cute dogs!
Awesome food and ambience!
The overall feel of the restaurant is on point, but something is missing. Nothing negative to say I just felt it could have been better. The decor and design build an expectation that was not met with our dinner and experience. I hope they can get it resolved because it’s a place you want to be good, it’s a place you want to frequent.
Best crab toast I have ever had and the view was great. Nice vibe and our server was great. Our only complaint was the hostess was really rude when we asked if we could have a table outside and told us “We have lots of reservations and they probably want to sit out there.” We had reservations and wanted to sit out there as well so I’m confused? We ended up getting a great table outside after she scoffed at us and went to ask someone else. It never did fill up out there and there were plenty of open tables. The same hostess ignored us when we left. After a $130 brunch for 3 people a simple “thanks” would have been nice.
Birthday dinner. It was way too expensive to eat here and the receipt was hard to understand with all the seat numbers
I would not go back for a number of reasons. The hostess/bartender was rude, food was wrong. Server was very pleasant.
Very nice property but lacking in options for kids. This is located in a hotel and the prices were above average for breakfast. Overall a great experience but pricey.
My husband and I had breakfast there after a night out on Main Street. It was a perfect way to start our Sunday- and it helped that we were staying at hotel...super convenient. The food and staff were great. The only hiccup was that though our server was charming and amazing, service was a bit slow. Besides that, no complaints. We sat outdoors and enjoyed the sun and view.
Service was great! The food was really good and not over the top…we will be back!
Thank you so much for the excellent review! Hope to see you back soon.
Unfortunately they were out of a bunch of items. The $62 steak we got was not good, we sent it back and the refire was just as bad. No flavor. Server was rather slow.
Amazing food and service. Beautiful location and views of the ocean and pier.
The crispy pork belly was amazing! Service was great. Loved the patio seating.
Service was fast and friendly. The sangria was delicious, as was the seafood chop salad. We enjoyed our lunch, went shopping, then came back for drinks and enjoyed the relaxed and vibey lounge/game area of the adjacent hotel. Great place to catch up with a friend.
Loved this cute brunch place! We ate on the patio which has a great view of the ocean and pier! Our food and drinks were pretty good but would have appreciated more vegetarian options, rather than ordering a dish and leaving the meat off. Service was great and overall I’d go back :)
Had a lovely dinner here with some family and friends. We could see the ocean from our outdoor table. The food choices are interesting and varied and very tasty. The creativity of the cocktail menu is outstanding, and the cocktails are very good!!
Thank you so much for the great review! We are so glad that you enjoyed the food and drinks. Hope to see you soon!
Place was ok. We didn't try the cocktails that seemed really good. Attention was fine but not great. We ordered tacos and were fair. An overall 3/5 rating.
We had an excellent experience. The lettuce wraps are a must have!! Sooooo good! The sea bass was great too. Their drinks are unique and tasty. The service was excelente! Overall we really enjoyed our experience
The mussels were great. Fish and chips and mahi tacos were also good. Nice service, with good patio views.
Food was delicious, drinks were perfect and Lauren was a very warm, friendly, outstanding server!
Great location. The happy hour menu was a great value! Drinks were delicious too!
The hostess was rude. The service was terrible, and the food was mediocre. Definitely don’t recommend this restaurant. Go to Duke’s instead
The hostess was not nice and our service was extremely slow! Food was very salty and spicy. Would not recommend!!
Good experience, tasty food, beautifull view from balcony seating.
Really enjoyed the ambiance, lighting, patio seating, and the service. It was a very lovely place to catch up with friends. The food was pretty good, but it was a little confusing with the fusion style between California cuisine, Mexican cuisine, and Asian cuisine. Overall though, it was still a very good place to spend a Sunday evening with friends. Our server was so kind to let us stay past the closing hours with no pressure to rush.
Came here for my birthday during a week day for lunch and it was great! I had the lobster roll and OMGsh… I’m coming back for more. Tons of fresh lobster meat, perfect amount of dressing, and that bread? Wow! I have to confess the roll first looked small but was the perfect size. You are definitely getting your money’s worth. I did think the mojito was small, maybe too much ice? On the other hand, Our waiter was great, and I had a dessert for my bday! Yay
Great place. Will definitely be back
Excellent food and fantastic service. The Korean taco was out of this world. The cocktails were well-made and strong. We will be back.
