First date my husband and I went on in 9 months since our son was born! Really great. Our server was helpful and she offered many good suggestions and even gave us a free dessert when we didn't like the first one we tried. Wished the appetizers came with more food, especially for the price, but flavor was incredible and worth it.
a restaurant with nice ambiance, great food and service. We met a friend for brunch and it was delicious. We were able to relax and not made to feel we had to hurry.
Over all a very nice dining experience. It was a little noisy and for a while some almost disco sounding music was heard but then it sounded like someone changed it to something more pleasing. To me, the less music is heard, unless it is very relaxing, the better. I don't like dropping $100-200 at a restaurant and have to listen to the radio. If you play music, it should be for the customers, not the staff.
Really enjoyed the creative menu. Lots of variety and options for different tastes. I like the ability to choose lesser price options too like appetizers.
We went to the boozy brunch and all the food was great! We'd definitely come back.
Really enjoyed our experience. Our server, Luke, was attentive and helpful. Dinner was delightful and dessert was amazing!
Excellent food, fairly loud but seating was not too close together. Really fun spot!
The pork chops were large and incredibly good. The steelhead was a perfectly cooked, large serving. The caesar greens were delicate, the dressing mild, and the prawns huge. The cassoulet beans were perfect, but the accompanying duck leg was overcooked and oversalted. Julia Childs would have been disappointed with the duck.
I thought it was a little to loud making it hard to totally enjoy each other's company and not very private due to sharing a table with 4 other people. However the food was absolutly amazing! And I've already recommended it to others
Your website should indicate that weekend brunch not only ends at 2 but there is no other service after that and you close....
We took our family to brunch for our daughter's 25th birthday celebration and everyone enjoyed it very much. Bloody Mary's were very good, service spectacular and the food was unique and creative. All very good.
We arrived early and given the option to start off at the bar. We started with drinks and appetizers and then moved to a cozy booth. Loved the atmosphere. All staff were nice. The food tasted amazing. Enjoyed the afforoto dessert.
Classy touch by the staff for bringing 2 glasses of champagne to our table along with a handwritten congratulations card. My wife and I were celebrating my retirement with a nice dinner out. This was communicated to our hostess when asked what brought us to PG? We weren't "fishing" for anything, we just answered the question. So kudos to the PG team for acknowledging a milestone we all hope to achieve. And smart to tuck the free desert card inside the congrats card to get us to come back. We would have either way, but just a nice (smart) touch to complete a very nice experience. Well done and we'll see you again.
We have been wanting to try this restaurant for many years and just never got around to it until this weekend. We made reservations which was a great idea, no wait. The menu had a nice variety and we thoroughly enjoyed our choices. We will be back with family and friends.
This is our favorite "date-night" restaurant! We started dining here about two years ago when commuting between Olympia and Seattle! The food and service are exceptional!! Our favorite starter is the steelhead flatbread with a glass of white wine, but everything on the menu good!
My experience was awful. We were seated at a small table even though they were open larger tables open. I wanted a specific item on the menu, but when I ordered it was gone. With that specific item being gone there were three or four different items on the menu that I could not order because it required that specific item. We ordered several appetizers they came out at all different times service was slow and our food took forever. I will not be going back ever again.
Very nice staff
Preparation of dishes was average, nothing particularly exceptional. I don't believe the value of the dishes matched the pricing. Carpaccio - delicate due to the feather thin slices rather than having any presence of fat, served with fistful of arugula wadded in the center, we were left scraping the away at the plate to extract slices that would stick to the plate as they disintegrated at the slightest touch. Duck Cassoulet - Uninspired and bland. At the very least, the duck was cooked well, but that's also the only takeaway from this dish. The accompaniment could have been replicated with a slow cooked can of beans and watered down jar of ragu. Scallops - Again, cooked well, but I would hope that I could walk away with something more notable, something like a unique combination of flavor or exemplary presentation. The only unique feature of the dish was the use of forbidden rice which must have been the reasoning behind the forbidden price. Overall, I left with no reason to return, and no reason to recommend.
Appetizers and dinner were great but dessert was disappointing!
Your food was awesome very healthy and perfect recommend you to everyone professional and nonprofessional
As always the food here was fantastic. We really like the use of fresh organic ingrediants. the portions are always just the right size.
Great service, great food. Will definitely be back.
Sent a group of clients (business) and they were especially happy that when they asked for someplace quiet to talk they were put into the wine cellar. Great accommodation which made for a special evening.
We've attempted to dine at Pacific Grill twice before and were not able due to time restraints vs. their popularity. Our evening could not have been better in all respects. Our server, David, was perfect in every way...so much when we return we will request his section. The food was delicious, plus the menu had variations for diverse palettes. I highly recommend Pacific Grill for any occasion, as, if anything like ours, will be be a special occasion.
Was wonderful, the server in particular did an exceptional job.
We always enjoy ourselves at Pacific Grill. The service is amazing and the mood is relaxing.
It was my wife's birthday and I wanted it to be special. Unfortunately, although the ambience was nice, the food was not to the standards we were expecting. The food was bland and the sides were overpriced. $9 for fries that was barely enough for one was outrageous, and the Caesar salad tasted like what you would get from the grocery store. The main dish was so so. Again quite bland. Service was decent but our server seemed to be rushing us. I mentioned my wife's birthday, but There was nothing special done. They only acknowledged it in the end. I'm hard pressed to recommend the place, but the one thing good was again the ambience.
Have been here about 8 times over the past couple of years and overall really like Pacific Grill. I consider it one of my favorite local restaurants. We have been here for both personal/family outings as well as business functions. We came here on a Sunday early afternoon to celebrate my wife's birthday. This was the first time we have been here on a Sunday and we were very surprised to find a significantly limited brunch menu. I was hoping/expecting the regular lunch menu and I guess I did not read the website closely enough to realize it was a brunch menu. To be candid, not my favorite menu and not the reason I like to come to Pacific Grill. I understand that this is my opinion and my fault for not realizing this, but if you come on a Sunday mid-day it is a brunch menu. Our service, while not horrible, was less than attentive and I had to flag him down at least three times to get refills, additional items, etc. In all not what I was hoping for on a special occasion. Pacific Grill is still one of my favorites and will be coming back .
Happy hour food which used to be the main attraction for us has become really cheap tasting. Dinner menu items have become overly pricey for what you get. The cassoulet, which I used to love, seems to have been dumbed-down flavor wise. Not sure what's going on, but I've had some great meals in the past and will continue to try ...but I'm getting close to writing it off.
The food was very good and our server was very helpful with the menu.
We had dinner there Friday night with some friends .
We were not impresssed at all.
When my daughter and I want a special dinner, our first pick is Pacific Grill. Our latest obsession is the worcestershire mushrooms that we order as a side with the filet. The affogato is delicious as an end to the meal.
I brought my lovely lady here for her birthday dinner and we both absolutely loved it! It was the first time here for the both of us and it was definitely worth the hour drive! We plan on coming back soon.
The lamb chop entree was outstanding. My wife had the pork flatbread, which was good but nothing special. The waiter recommended a wine that turned out to be perfect, and it was Tuesday, half-price-wine-bottle day! We really enjoyed our dessert, which was a toasted coconut cheesecake.
We went to Pacific Grill for a nice meal and enjoyed the decor and received friendly service from the waitstaff. It is a good place to go for an everyday meal, business lunch, or special occasion. My one complaint from our dining experience was that our dishes were brought out at different times and the first dish got cold by the time the second one arrived. However, I would still give the venue another try.
My food wasn't on time so my husband got his food before me and I'm sure the mushrooms made me really sick. And I called and let the manager know and she said so I ate them and I'm not sick but I will talk to the chef.
My wife & I have been to Pacific Grill on several occasions. Always enjoy the setting, the food, and the service.
Okay average expected better. Wait was great. Sorry
The service was excellent. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu options. When I made the reservations online (which was very easy) I left a special request that it was my wife's birthday. They wished her a happy birthday and gave us a free dessert. I will definitely be going back and suggesting it to all my friends.
Quality service. Lunch menu has an appealing assortment in comparison to the pricey dinner menu although worth the atmosphere and unique ambiance. Highly recommend reservations.
The ambiance in the restaurant was nice with large windows and a decorated tree. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. Drink service was slow in a near-empty restaurant and prices were high. The BLT salad had chopped romaine, crispy bacon and a few cherry tomatoes. Salad dressing was warm but inadequate for the volume of lettuce. No bread was served with the salad and no one checked to see if the salad was all right. I ordered medium- grilled salmon. It arrived overcooked and over salted on under-cooked lentil beans. Dessert was good but the expresso had floating coffee grains. Receptionists were dressed festively, however their demeanor was not welcoming. No one advised parking options when the reservation was confirmed. Parking cost an extra $20. The experience at Pacific Grill left me feeling disappointed.
