We were sat at our table at 6:45pm, waitress didn’t come over to greet us until 7:05pm. We ordered drinks, apps, and entrees. A full 20 minutes later: drinks have not shown up, waiter has not checked back on us. Finally we are able to spot out waitress walking by and we wave her down. It’s now been a full 45 minutes from when we first arrived. We ask if she can please check on our drinks. She goes and checks and comes back with our drinks. Sigh.
10 minutes later, our food arrives. ALL OF IT at once. We were frustrated, but what could we do. The sticky ribs we had ordered were cold, and with our entrees and two other apps all arriving at the same time, it was a sub par experience.
The poke appetizer was (and I mean this) inedibly salty. However, the service had been so horrible at this point it wasn’t even worth it to try and do something about it. We just left the dish untouched.
The fish tacos I ordered for dinner were delicious. Overall though, it was a really frustrating and disappointing experience.
Excellent lunch dishes! The seafood was cooked perfectly and came to us hot, fresh and flavorful...everything was prepared nicely ! Our server was extremely attentive and pleasant.
I've been here many times and the food and service is constantly good.
Had the salmon burger - lots of salmon, cooked "just right" and the bun was delicious. My friend loved the Mexican bowl. I've had the Hawaiian bowl before and love it - a really lot of food!
Sat in the outdoor area where they converted the parking lot to an elevated tiki themed deck with bamboo dividers and well spaced seating. I appreciate all the effort to space tables out and to offer this outdoor space. Felt very safe. Food was a good portion and yummy. Our server was good. Could have been a bit more attentive with water refills and checking on us cuz the way the seating is arranged, it’s very private so can’t really see any of the servers and they can’t see you unless they walk by. Thanks to the PC management—I will be back!
The service was dismal at best. It took 7 minutes for the waiter to arrive and get our drink order. One of our appetizers was luke warm.
It’s acoss the street from the Golden Gate Park. The food & service was great. We sat out in the Tiki Terrace & it was wonderful.& quiet
Love the Tiki Terrace for comfortable outdoor dining during Covid. And the food is always good!
Wonderful! Delicious, fresh fish, house made corn tortillas, fantastic and friendly service, great outdoor seating. What a great meal!
Good food well served good wine list.No delays friendly.
There were confusion about the poke bomb deal. We expected 1 free per person up to 4 per table. The waiter refused to honor based on management’s instructions. He stated the offer is only 1 per email holder even though the email said “up to 4 per table”. I spoke to the manager who backed up the waiter. I complained about the wording and how it contracted the restaurant and asked that it be brought up to management. Finally, the main manager came by and confirmed we were right so they gave us 4 free bombs. There is opportunity for clearer communication and staff training so this experience doesn’t happen again.
The happy hour is back. Good drinks and eats at a discounted price. Will be back for the Puu Puu Platter, $19. ($25. regular price). 2 pork ribs, 2 poke bombs, 3 coconut shrimp, poke guacamole w/chips, ginger, spicy cucumbers, Wasabi. Yummmm
The overall experience was excellent…from the wait staff, to the food. My friend and I had the fish bowls which came with Quinoa, avocado slices, mixed salad and grilled fish, the salmon and sea bass were both delicious. For starters with had the Korean sticky ribs….yummm.
First time out to dinner in SF where we were asked to show our papers to sit inside where there were maybe 6 other tables filled at 6pm. Decided to sit outside on principle alone as we find it to be a complete violation of our privacy to show our medical status to anyone. No heating units in the chilly outdoor area. No one brought us silverware or napkins until after we got our food. We waited 10 minutes for a server to come ask if we wanted anything to drink. The food was delicious but basically, everything else about it was disappointing at best.
Fresh ingredients and a wide variety of dishes and their combinations is an advantage of this place. I liked their Westcoast style bowls with salmon and seabass, delicious salmon chowder, and tacos, fresh catch is also one of my favourites. All portions are very generous, consider sharing, if you want to try several dishes.
The restaurant was not clean. The floors were filthy and the restaurant was unkept overall. It made it difficult to enjoy my food because I imagined an even dirtier kitchen. Too bad. The menu sounded great online.
Will be happier when all employees are vaccinated
The food was good, the service very good and the noise level was excellant, we could all talk and hear one another. The problem is the bill. I signed the credit card at the restaurant for about $100 and added the tip. Today it is on my credit card for $170. That means I have to wait until they open and call. Leaves me feeling angry and I have one more thing I have to do today. 😡
My wife and I ate there for our anniversary. What we ordered was wonderful, and the cocktails were awesome. Pacific Catch is in our neighborhood, so we will definitely be returning. Their Tiki Terrace is such a fun place to eat.
We love Pacific Catch. The only problem is we have been here 3 times. How do I get my rewards credited to acct?
Great staff. Thanks. We'll be back soon. Thanks again.
All good. Thx everyone.
Delicious food, well prepared. I've been here a few times, ordered different things & it's all been good.
Service was very good - friendly without being intrusive.
Our waitress, while new was extremely gracious....but we waited much too long for our check. The tables, floor and surrounding areas were not clean....unpleasant to dine. Bathroom did not have any toilet paper in the stalls. I may be back, as the food was very good, but the overall ambiance was not too pleasing.
Really enjoyed our lunch out on the back patio. The food was tasty, healthy, fresh and thoughtfully presented. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly.
The food here is tasty and unpretentious. Service is attentive. Outdoor deck is well-designed and comfortable.
very good seafood. Fish taco plater was excellent as was the poke and crevicie
We had an excellent lunch here. Our waiter was exceptionally attentive, food was great and we loved the outdoor seating with bamboo walls separating each table.
Amazing service. High quality food. Definitely recommend.
The food was great but the service was, well, lazy. The restaurant wasn't that busy (there were empty tables near ours) but our server didn't bother to stop by until 10 minutes after we arrived. Our food didn't arrive until 45 minutes after we sat down. Our server stopped by a few minutes after that but that was the last time we saw him. When it was time to leave, I finally had to wander around the restaurant, trying to find our server or a manager. I found our server lounging with a couple of other servers. When I told him that I wanted to pay right now, he did his job but didn't offer any apologies for making us wait.
The food is good but they need to improve their service. One more experience like that and I'll write this place off permanently.
Dependable and charming neighborhood restaurant. Service is consistently friendly and efficient, Food is tasty and never disappointing. Great tiki drinks makes this a fun spot to visit away from the downtown bustle.
Great experience, food was great and small portion poke entree w/ salmon was more than enough food for one person!
Our waitress was very nice, friendly and professional. Unfortunately it took a while for us to get our lunch.
Delicious and fresh. I would definitely recommend.
The food was great but our server was not friendly at all. He seemed to be irritated with any questions we had. Sucks that he was a real bummer because our food was great.
This is my go to place when in Golden Gate Park. The food is always "fresh" and tasty. My cousin had her first taste of their fish taco variety. Boy was she happy. Will come again. The staff are always so friendly and the service is excellent
Excellent seafood selections, salads , sushi, even Korean Barbeque ribs. Good value, good drinks.
The food was excellent and so were the drinks. We shared a lot of appetizers and order cocktails by the pitcher. Great place to hang out.
Good food, nice choices, great service, nice atmosphere. We'll be back. Thanks!
Food was not that great here! I was disappointed actually. Kanpachi Poke was over salted so it completely killed its own authentic flavor. Miso salad wasn’t prepared with miso or at least I didn’t taste even tiny bit of miso in dressing at all. The color of the dressing was whitish so I could easily tell miso wasn’t present. Anyway, the taste was blunt so I asked our waitress a little bit of ponzu. That didn’t taste like ponzu either unfortunately. The grilled fish taco with sea bass that I had was also not recommendable. The size of the fish was tiny to compared with salmon, I was served salmon by mistake first, and to me it did not taste like sea bass but other white fish. I understand the chef or the restaurant owner tries to creat something innovative on menu something closer to Japanese Peruvian stuff but I must say their pursuit was unsuccessful as foods are neither one thing nor the other so ended up with a very mediocre, banal food restaurant.
I won’t come back at least this location.
