Service & food was excellent, from the Hostess, to Michael in the Bar to Monica our Server, everything was top notch! The Sticky Ribs were to die for! Go to this restaurant and make a reservation!
Yummy vegan option with the chimichurri vegan bowl.
They should offer better wines by the glass. Otherwise Pacific Catch is a solid good choice for me and my family. We really like the current menu.
This was our second trip to Pacific Catch Mountain View and it was just as good as the first. Service was attentive and the menu is really great with a unique selection of prepared fresh fish including some great poke dishes. I had the ahi poke burger done rare. The brioche roll was light as a marshmallow which really allied the flavor of the seared poke to come out. My wife had a salmon bowl with quinoa, which now her favorite dish. Prices are not inexpensive but are appropriate for the quality of the preparation and quantity of food.
Waiter was not particularly helpful and did not offer full menu options - possibly had too many tables to cover. Hostess not very friendly.
We go for the food (always good), but manager and staff are not friendly or cheerful.
Food was good but we asked the server several questions when ordering and his responses were all very ncorrect. They need better training for staff. The menu is too focused on sushi and poke, need more fish dishes.
Fish was over done. I got the West Coast bowl with salmon. Coconut mai tais were good. Sticky ribs were overdone as well. About half of them were pretty tough. Last visit was far better in terms of food. Got there early enough so that the sound level wasn’t Ear blistering. Waiter was competent and helpful although little bit difficult to understand. Overall a pretty good dining experience but still a little bit overpriced.
Your employee's are always trying to please your customers and it shows they care about your patrons.
We always feel special when we attend your restaurant, over the top food and service.
Excellent food and drinks. Everything was very fresh. Great happy hour specials on drinks and appetizers.
Food was good!
This location is horrible. From the beginning the host was rude, the waitress very unattentive. My steak taco was just pieces of FAT, photo posted on Yelp. When I asked for a new one, the waitress didn't understand why and they put so much cilantro on my new taco when I asked specifically for no cilantro.
all in all a good experience, a bit pricey, but good quality food.
Excellent seafood. Fresh fish!
I have been to Pacific Catch in Campbell also, which is closer to me.
The dish I had there was too spicy but they were very accommodating and were happy to change it for me.
The food was very good in both places.
Food and service were both excellent. My wife had grilled salmon and I had striped bass, each with different preprations, and both were excellent. The waiter could not have been better. We will be going back again soon.
My dinner date was running late, so I ended up dining alone, but that was fine - I was seated in the bar area, and didn't feel uncomfortable sat there alone! Staff were super friendly and my food came quickly and was delicious and fresh.
Started with the ceviche which was excellent - just the right level of acidity and bite.
Had a couple of rolls for my entree, and the quality was good but not great - there was so much sauce added to them that they were sitting in a pool of liquid and then fell apart when you tried to eat them. The flavours were great though.
I did order my meal with no cucumber, and one of my rolls came with it still in them, but the waitress sorted it out immediately, no questions asked.
Great selection and excellent food for all at our table!
The teriyaki rice bowl with brown rice and skirt steak is so good! I’ve tried other bowls and this is my favorite. Sauce on the side is best so it’s not drowned.
We were seated in the back room and the evening started fine with our waiter providing water and taking drink orders, but the service was so awful after that (wrong dish brought but he insisted it was right, long waits and some things brought, others not, having to ask multiple times for things, and then his irritation when we politely asked him to bring something we had asked for “because he had too much going on”), it just ruined the evening. Unlikely that we’ll go back, which is too bad, as the food was good.
Yes Yes Yes, we are bringing friends this Friday for their first visit, see you Friday.
Food was excellent. Fish was very fresh. The wine prices are out outrageously high. Bring your own bottle and pay the corkage fee if there is one. Our waiter was competent but he didn’t really seem like he enjoyed his job very much. He seemed tense most of the time. Lots of noise is overflowing from the bar during happy hour. As the restaurant filled up it became very difficult to hear my dinner companion without moving in very close for conversation. All in all, A reasonable overall experience. Highlights were definitely the fish and the quality of the ingredients. Sound level and minuscule wine pours were not so great.
The menu choices were good. The fish tacos are heavily breaded and deep fried. I wish the breading was lighter. However, the Friday lunch crowd was so loud we could not converse with the others in our group of six ...only the one next to us and across from us.
Ordered Petrale Sole, as I have many times before, and received two unusually small and unusually thin pieces. Both pieces together were slightly smaller than a travel mouse and thinner than the thickness of my pinky finger - at the tip. I assume they fried them for the "usual" amount of time, therefore the two pieces were dry, tough, and flavorless. I should have sent them back but didn't.
It was a bit pricey and the fish special was bland in taste
Other than that it was very nice and food was very good
Everything is great but the manager. They are not very friendly and I wish they realized they are the only things preventing this restaurant to be almost perfect.
Our in training rescue was warmly welcomed wit a bowl of water and a bowl of salmon skins.
We went a happy hour and sampled wonderful small plates and tasty cocktails.
I had a bad experience with your restaurant in the past and haven't returned until last night. We had been doing take out for some time and we were very pleased. Then one evening when we ordered take out, I arrived to pick it up when told to and they must have given my order to some one else or just lost it. I waited for over an hour and they finally came with my order. I think after awhile the manager finally got involved and apologized, but some compensation would have gone a long way to improve my feelings.
Upon returning last week, our dinner was outstanding!
So impressed with the meal. Delicious. Loved it. Very impressed with the menu.
Good food, average service, overpriced
We would like to give kudos to our waiter, Steve who was so attentive & accommodating! Not easy pleasing 6 women on a girls night out & birthday celebration. Thank you for your kindness and making our experience that night fun & memorable.
Very fresh and tasty.
Informal seating, not the greatest selection of wines, but a wonderful menu with lots of options. The fish was delicious, both dishes we ordered were excellent.
Everytime I bring my little girl here the staff goes out of their way to make her comfortable. Even at her tiniest (7mos) to now (4 years) they bring her extra edamame, and make sure to check on our table frequently.
Service was spotty, entrees left at nearby table by server and forgotten before being discovered 10 minutes later (taken off bill). Seasonal catch entrees portions seemed small, flavor of broccolini was smoke (as did the fish). Mexican shrimp bowl was ok, but shrimp prep seemed like a chain. No grilling or real care, just boiled and seasoned? Water not refilled. Lots of things to try which is why I'd go back, but first impressions were not as expected.
This was a first date, so impression was very important. Even though restaurant was packed (on a Saturday night) with my reservation they seated us immediatly. Our waitperson came to us quickly and explained some nuances because menu has many many choices (mostly good, but some a little confusing). Because we wanted variety, we split a poke trio, then shared a delish fresh fish (salmon) which can be prepared one of four ways (who knew?). Drinks were good and cost was reasonable. We even split the brownie for dessert - it was a great end to an awesome meal. Not too noisy, felt warm and cozy with low light and glow of outside fireplace. Needless to say, my date loved it, and I had a great time. Why go somewhere else when you go here and not be surprised?
We had a good dinner at Pacific Catch. There were four of us--none of us had been to the restaurant before. The one issue was that our reservation, through OpenTable wasn't found. However, there was plenty of capacity for us and we did not have to wait for a table.
The rest of the evening was fine. The food was good. The service was good. The value was good. We all agreed that we'd go back.
Really loud - made conversation difficult. Food was good, service fair.
The place was awesome , the food was awesome !
We were seated immediately upon arrival~we had a reservation|~in a booth. Our wine arrived within ten minutes. Our waiter was very informative about the menu. The Tataki was delicious and whet our appetite. Food was nothing special although quite delicious. But there seemed to have had a mixed up in the placement of the order at the kitchen since our food did not arrive until more than half an hour had passed~or unusually longer based on our experience~since the order. Our waiter apologized profusely for the wait. Good thing we had the Tataki. I ordered one of the “Specials~select the fish, cooking prep and side dish. Th fish was slightly overcooked and dry~probably because it’s thin. But the corn was good; broccoli I was slightly hard. I think we’ll come back. We had been there a week before our last visit.
