I say that I would recommend but not enthusiastically. Using Open Table, I selected outdoor seating (there were 5 of us, older folks and wanting easy conversation) and when we arrived we were told that it was only a "request" and nothing was available. As we had our meal, we noticed quite a few groups being seated outside. The food was ok, a very large menu, but some things were very disappointing - e.g. broccolini could not even be cut it was so undercooked. Some dishes were fine but not notable. Thanks goodness for the pitcher of mojitos that took the edge off!! Won't be back soon, for sure!
Great place for girls night out! We had a very good time :-)
I Will definitely come for dinner next time with more friends, love the delicious food and the service were very good, I was highly satisfied .
Service has been degrading continually over the last year. I am a regular at this location.
Nice meal for Father’s Day and they had a special menu for that day, too
Sat on the patio and had a perfect happy hour. Got there early at 5:30pm so no wait. Service was great and food came out fast.
Great food. Service a little slow due to waitress in training
The menu was just a little too healthy for me. The crab cakes were a bit over done and lacking in good chunks of crab meat. The place was very busy for a Tuesday and so service was slow, though no fault to our waitress who was running frantically for the most part.
Probably won't go back.
Great choices, good beers, attentive weight staff.
Birthday for Wife.
It was my 2nd time to eat there and this last time was great. I have recommended it to my friends. Keep up the good work, it's worth it.
Loved how attentive the wait staff was. Food recs were great too.
while the food was tasty the service was dreadful. took over 15 minutes for someone to take our order and then only happened when we signaled someone. once we were eating the waitress came by several times to interrupt us in the middle of our conversation to as how the food was. we were still eating when she asked if we wanted dessert, we said not yet, then she brought the bill. then took forever to get someone's attention again once she left the bill so we could pay and leave
Crab cake ok. Shrimp tiny and overcooked. Fries wilted and cold. Coleslaw no seasoning or dressing.
Service earnest but poor.
Will not go again and now am hesitant to try any other locations of this restaurant.😩
The parking was convenient. The menu was pretty extensive and varied. My party of three was able to find something they liked. Overall, the dining was very good. Rosa was attentive but seemed busy and forgot a couple of things which she gladly fulfilled when reminded. The grilled salmon bowl was very good.
Very good food, delicious, good variety on the menu and an enjoyable meal.
The only thing we didn't like was the noise level - too loud for comfortable conversation with a bigger group (6 people). I would have enjoyed a slightly quieter venue, but nothing to fault at all, regarding the food.
Great food, attentive service, and not too loud....all in all a very good experience!
If it were up to me and the friends with whom we dined, the star rating would be higher. We three love the fish tacos. Unfortunately, it is the second time my husband has ordered fish and chips. He was disappointed the first time. The second time was equally disappointing. He was sure he was served a tail. He commented that the fish and chips served at Pacific Catch don't come close to those served at the Fish Market which he thinks are excellent. I asked why he didn't comment. He said he didn't want to make a fuss.
This was our first time here, and we'll definitely be back! Everything was great, from food to service.
Service & food was excellent, from the Hostess, to Michael in the Bar to Monica our Server, everything was top notch! The Sticky Ribs were to die for! Go to this restaurant and make a reservation!
Yummy vegan option with the chimichurri vegan bowl.
They should offer better wines by the glass. Otherwise Pacific Catch is a solid good choice for me and my family. We really like the current menu.
This was our second trip to Pacific Catch Mountain View and it was just as good as the first. Service was attentive and the menu is really great with a unique selection of prepared fresh fish including some great poke dishes. I had the ahi poke burger done rare. The brioche roll was light as a marshmallow which really allied the flavor of the seared poke to come out. My wife had a salmon bowl with quinoa, which now her favorite dish. Prices are not inexpensive but are appropriate for the quality of the preparation and quantity of food.
Waiter was not particularly helpful and did not offer full menu options - possibly had too many tables to cover. Hostess not very friendly.
We go for the food (always good), but manager and staff are not friendly or cheerful.
Food was good but we asked the server several questions when ordering and his responses were all very ncorrect. They need better training for staff. The menu is too focused on sushi and poke, need more fish dishes.
Service was slow, food was over priced and not that great.
Fish was over done. I got the West Coast bowl with salmon. Coconut mai tais were good. Sticky ribs were overdone as well. About half of them were pretty tough. Last visit was far better in terms of food. Got there early enough so that the sound level wasn’t Ear blistering. Waiter was competent and helpful although little bit difficult to understand. Overall a pretty good dining experience but still a little bit overpriced.
Your employee's are always trying to please your customers and it shows they care about your patrons.
We always feel special when we attend your restaurant, over the top food and service.
Excellent food and drinks. Everything was very fresh. Great happy hour specials on drinks and appetizers.
Food was good!
This location is horrible. From the beginning the host was rude, the waitress very unattentive. My steak taco was just pieces of FAT, photo posted on Yelp. When I asked for a new one, the waitress didn't understand why and they put so much cilantro on my new taco when I asked specifically for no cilantro.
all in all a good experience, a bit pricey, but good quality food.
Excellent seafood. Fresh fish!
I have been to Pacific Catch in Campbell also, which is closer to me.
The dish I had there was too spicy but they were very accommodating and were happy to change it for me.
The food was very good in both places.
Food and service were both excellent. My wife had grilled salmon and I had striped bass, each with different preprations, and both were excellent. The waiter could not have been better. We will be going back again soon.
My dinner date was running late, so I ended up dining alone, but that was fine - I was seated in the bar area, and didn't feel uncomfortable sat there alone! Staff were super friendly and my food came quickly and was delicious and fresh.
Started with the ceviche which was excellent - just the right level of acidity and bite.
Had a couple of rolls for my entree, and the quality was good but not great - there was so much sauce added to them that they were sitting in a pool of liquid and then fell apart when you tried to eat them. The flavours were great though.
I did order my meal with no cucumber, and one of my rolls came with it still in them, but the waitress sorted it out immediately, no questions asked.
Great selection and excellent food for all at our table!
The teriyaki rice bowl with brown rice and skirt steak is so good! I’ve tried other bowls and this is my favorite. Sauce on the side is best so it’s not drowned.
We were seated in the back room and the evening started fine with our waiter providing water and taking drink orders, but the service was so awful after that (wrong dish brought but he insisted it was right, long waits and some things brought, others not, having to ask multiple times for things, and then his irritation when we politely asked him to bring something we had asked for “because he had too much going on”), it just ruined the evening. Unlikely that we’ll go back, which is too bad, as the food was good.
Yes Yes Yes, we are bringing friends this Friday for their first visit, see you Friday.
