Pacific Catch Dublin
Briefly, the food was great: shared the poke-guac and beet salad apps, and my guest and I had Baja tacos and one grilled - we both went yum. The music was really loud inside (gave me a bit of a headache while waiting for my guest), so I asked for a quieter place for lunch and we sat on the outside section (away from the bar). So nice. Grant, our server, was really nice, and the host/front desk guy was super-sweet and gave me a sippy cup of fizzy water and lemon while I waited. Paper straw - bravo!
We had reservations, however they were not honored. I had made those reservations 2 weeks in advance, requested a specific quiet table, which they completely ignored. We ended up sitting outside under a heater, just so we could hear ourselves talk.
Wonderful food. Plus great service. We had the Guacamole so very good, Crab Cocktail excellent. The fresh fish on the little menu. It was so tasty. Plus great cocktails.
Service was excellent!
Seated on time. Very busy. Good server. Food very good, but limited menu. Creative pokes. Noise level horrible
Rare to find a server that takes time to explain the menu, swaps for side dishes, and checks on your needs. Definitely a 5 all around.
Outstanding service here. The waitress brought me a fresh (non-alcoholic) drink when I was getting low -- no charge. A group of servers bring you the food for the entire party. I had ceviche to start (I think this was only the second time ever I've actually had that dish. It was okay.) A beet salad which also had heirloom tomatoes, and one of the fresh fish recommendations -- mine was Yellowtail prepared very nicely. Others had the dover sole. One member of our party didn't quite "get" the side-dish experience. They come with one depending on the dish, but you can swap it out for something else, then also pick another. What's so hard? It was a bit expensive overall, and maybe a tad too noisy (okay, lively) but otherwise an excellent experience.
Always a great experience. My weekly spot with family and local dinner meetings.
Creative menu for seafood lovers.
Shared an order of fish and chips as we have often done. Seems like the pieces of fish got smaller. Asked the waitress and she said they are all weighed for uniformity but the pieces did not all seem equal. Maybe our imagination, we'll have to see next time. Fish and fries cooked very nicely. Enjoyed a nice comp Brownie Sundae ( PC birthday celebrate) Overall a decent meal.
They seated us quickly which was great. However, the service was very slow for drinks. We eventually ended up walking to and from the bar for our drinks. The food was just so-so. It was super loud and the waitress could hardly hear us. We won’t be back.
Very tasty, sustainable fish. Took my sister to dinner for her birthday, and we had very good service and tasty food. We were both happy with our entrees.
Waiter got 2 out of 6 of our orders wrong and took a while to get the right orders
Excellent food, drinks and service
Food was good. Service was ok. The waiter was slow
I always get the lobster roll. I'm from New England, and Pacific Catch is the only place out here that offers these very genuine, delicious lobster rolls!
Reservation ran behind about 15 mins, food was just ok, nothing of the wow factor.
Food was excellent as were the staff. Place was a bit loud but we were given a table out of the main traffic flow so it was acceptable. Will go again..Thanks
My server was amazing and the food/beer was worth bragging about for days and planning a trip back soon. Opah and Brussels sprouts are things dreams r made up. Delicious delicious delicious and service top notch
Great place to go and have a clean healthy dinner.
Greeter/Hostess, Server, cuisine presentation and taste...all superb!
Great server she was so attentive to our pet and us. Wonderful food
Had an ok time. Not exactly what I expected as a seafood restaurant, but no problems.
Our weekly family dinner spot.
great food, Ryan was awesome and funny. Had a great time.
Love the food, especially the bowls
I enjoy Pacific Catch in Dublin as well as San Jose - the food is perfect in both locations, and the staff make me feel like family. Will continue to treat myself as often as I can!
Date night, wife decided to try the miso cod. She doesn’t eat kale or mushrooms and the waitress was very friendly and accommodated trading those for the Crab mashed potatoes and broccolini. Broccolini was supposed to be grill charred but smelled and tasted burnt. Mentioned this to waitress and they brought out a replacement which was acceptably “charred.” Miso cod was decent 4*. I had fish and chips with spicy fries, as usual 4.5*. So great service better than average food.
I have eaten numerous times at several Pacific Catch locations, but my recent visit at Dublin branch was the first poor experience - I will not likely be going back there again.
How can a restaurant billed as West Coast FishHouse run out of both Salmon and Sole at 6:30 on a Sunday evening. If there deliveries are not almost daily, then I wonder how fresh of fish they are serving? How do you run out of Green Curry sauce and then serve a dish without it anyway?
The server was very nice, but kitchen and management a mess.
Always consistent and awesome! Its my go to place for Japanese.
I ordered the fish pescado—- it was just OK. The fish was on a bed of corn. Didn’t care for this combination at all.
Great food and great service. We found our new to go spot
I am finicky when it comes to atmosphere. And I don't like being cramped next to people who can hear my conversation. Those are my biases. This restaurant is great. I love the layout : booths or near booths or high tables--the latter if you want more of a bar type experience. The whole feel and look of the place was great--not fancy, but great. The menu was good too, lots of good choices and including those who are health conscious. I liked the food, although know that I am easily pleased on food and taste.
I don't get to Dublin very often but when I'll be going to a restaurant in Dublin, Pacific Catch is where I would go.
An excellent night out with good friends. Our waiter was attentive, food was great. Love this restaurant. Have been to the one in San Mateo too.
Great food in a pleased atmosphere!
Committed to providing sustainable foods in all of their menu offerings. All of the food on the menu is fresh, not previously frozen, made from scratch, and delicious. The flavors are complex and great tasting. Most dishes are shareable. Great for any get-together.
Overall experience was on a scale of good. However, it was a little pricy for what you get.
Huge menu. Our waiter, Jose, was superb - very cheerful, accommodating, and friendly. We would go back to the restaurant because of him. Parking is a real problem. Poor parking planning on the part of the developer of the center.
Sort of confusing.
Guaca-Poke very tasty. Like that they give you romaine spears along with the tortilla chips. Cabo calamari good with spicy sauce, but small portion. Seared ahi salad on special menu was outstanding. Grilled kanpachi with miso sauce was the winner!
