We have eaten at Pacific catch for many years. The food just keeps getting better. Everything on the menu is interesting and delightful. It’s a pleasure.
Our waitress was very nice and even treated the bride to a shot of tequila ,we were celebrating her bachelorette. I loved my dinner and everyone else seemed pleased as well. The noise level was good, if anything we were probably loud!
This was an excellent seafood restaurant. Apparently, this is a local chain, but the food was very good.
Had to wait a long time for host/hostess. Then at the bar the bartender never looked our way for 10 plus minutes.
Didn’t see a lot of the regular staff tonight. Host was completely swamped or incompetent or both. Waited 10 min for a reserved table...and there were plenty of spaces. Otherwise service and food was good to very good.
Nice crowd , easy parking, cheerful staff. Quality and fun food. We don't drink so the ice tea was nice as well as having the option of Ginger Ale. Did not do a desert as chocolate deserts and ice cream after a full meal is a little much. If there was key lime pie, I would have possibly done as slice. Will try some of the other entree combinations and want to try the bowl menu.
Service was a little on the slow side but the food was awesome.
Well as much as we like Pacific Catch this time was a disaster. Our waiter erred on our drinks. The waiter erred on one of our 4 entrees. The waiter took 25 minutes to serve those entrees. The kitchen served us soggy potato fries. And we waited another 20 minutes for our bill. Truth, What can I say? One of the four entrees was very good; the other three seemed microwaved. A Friday Night disaster.
Great selection of fish expertly prepared. I had Opa grilled Hawaiian style and my wife enjoyed a hamachi sashimi and a spicy tuna roll. The side of brocolini was steamed perfectly and the sweet potato fries we delicious.
This is often our go-to place for my daughter's birthday if we're in town. Food and service are consistently very good. We all have our favorites and occasionally when they change the menu, we get to discover NEW favorites! Panko crusted crab cakes were my new discovery this time - will definitely be one of my top choices in the future. And the mochi fondue is always the perfect birthday dessert in our family!
Good food and fast, friendly service. Fish is fresh and their bowl selections are tasty.
I have always enjoyed my meal there. I order fish and chips and request additional sauces beyond tarter sauce. The sauces add a lot to the meal. A little noisy there at times.
i was very impressed with the service and OMG the food was incredible. will definitely be back and recommend this restaurant
It was difficult to get the orders right. First issue with the drink order and then the side with the dinner. Waiter was friendly and corrected the problems without issue, Mixed drinks were tasty but seemed a little light on alcohol. Seemed to be served extremely fast after ordering so not much time to enjoy beverages and enjoy being out. The chairs in dining room are not that comfortable so I suggest asking or reserving a booth. We did not sit in the patio but it was bustling with people I am assuming for happy hour in the bar/patio.
A nice place for sustainable fish. We ordered Pisco sours - yum. The salmon chowder was excellent and ordering fish (ahi, salmon, yellowtail) came with one side and you chose another. Perfectly prepared, recommend chimichurri sauce. Prices compatible with quality. Service was ok. The extensive poke menu is also recommended- had on last visit.
Our favorite restaurant in Marin. Food is always great, super fresh, and healthy. Great variation in the menu, nice presentations, and the best kid's menu in any restaurant I've ever been in. (Not just a plate of penne or one cheese quesadilla. Actual fresh chicken fingers, fish tacos or salmon bowl with broccoli and sweet potato fries. Better than most adult meals.) The chefs and owners know how to make real, good food for people. Can't stand one more pizza joint opening.
What a Catch! Here you will find quality, taste, service, presentation, positive staff all in synch ... I am going to rave about this place to everyone. There has been a transition with the restaurant in the last few months apparently, so what happens from the moment you enter (hostess saying welcome, hi!) to the server (Diana) who was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, fast and interested in you!, to the food, which was really fresh, delicious and sharable, to the manager, (Hung is his name) who was so fun and went on a scavenger hunt to get answers to our questions, such as where does the crab come from (Canada) ... this is now THE BEST PLACE FOR CREATIVE FRESH SEAFOOD in Marin, bar none. Order the papaya crab cakes, Ceviche with guacamole, grilled salmon and rice/salad, fresh blood orange spritzer, and a brownie with ice cream ... you will die for. Can't wait to go back and try some more... and have a drink at a hip little bar.
Hostess steered us to quiet zone in restaurant which greatly improved quality of our dining experience. Our server gave clear , good advice, and as it was a birthday campus and wonderful dessert. All together Pacific Catch continues to measure up to its good reputation. Thank you.
Pacific Catch has the best seafood and numerous variations and styles of dishes in town. I'm not sure anyone else can compete. Best time is for lunch. Dinner is very noisy. All in all, it is one of my favorite restaurants.
Good value and good food
I go there often with a friend because the food is always good and the servers are nice. It is often crowded but never noisy. I recommend their salad bowls.
We were lucky to get reservations because otherwise the wait would have been an hour!
We had a great table. My only complaint is that the tables are very close together.
It was not a place for romance but wonderful for families and friends.
We were at the end of happy hour so I had a delicious margarita and coconut shrimp. Yum!
Service was a bit confusing but once all was settled our food came at just the right time.
My husband had his usual wasabi bowl. He ordered small but got large and it was too much
so our server just charged us for the small. We wanted to save enough room for the mochi.
Loud music and crowded, it was not easy to have a conversation with a friend. Fridays are probably not the best time for lunch. However the crab cakes were delicious, my friend had them as an appetizer and I had the platter with sweet potato fries and slaw.
We had a table for eight for my mother's 95th Birthday Celebration. We were seated promptly and the wait staff were very attentive. The drinks and appetizers were quick to appear. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The place, though, was very loud. We asked to have the music volume lowered and that helped a lot. The menu is new and a little confusing, but everything was well prepared and fresh.
Great place to go for a easy lunch or dinner with friends or family
Great variety in choices of food. Mexican/Asian influences in several dishes. Presentation on trays was innovative and fun. Good size portions, well prepared.
Lively evening for a birthday celebration. A little too noisy for comfortable conversation. Waitress was accommodating and very pleasant.
Great food: fresh ingredients, seasoned and cooked beautifully*. Generous portions. Excellent service. No wait as we had a reservation at prime time Saturday evening. Only thing difficult was hearing one another. Glad I wasn't on a romantic date. Cocktails: pricey but excellent, too. Bathrooms clean. (*Just one little thing: the crab mashed potatoes--tho served in a nice dish and crisped on top--didn't taste nor even emit fragrance of crab - at all.) Will definitely eat there again soon, even tho we come from West Marin.
We had the small green curry bowls and some tumeric cauliflower as a starter. All were delicious. I would definitely go to Pacific Catch again, wish there were one in my home town. Thank you.
Crab cake salad is wonderful; we split it. Ribs were a little tough, also split. Nice that the kitchen split the salad instead of having to deal with it at the table.
Food was good, drinks were good
Food was delicious. Ordered the hamachi sashimi appetizer and California role as my meal. Was a perfect amount of food for me. Hamachi/avocado was a great combination. Blood orange margarita was tasty, refreshing, not too sweet or over bearing. Mexican creme brulee was tasty, but the creme was heavy and cold, unlike a regular creme brulee.
Food is pretty consistent here. However I don’t feel their entrées are as hot as I would like. Sometimes they come out warm close to cool in temperature
I would recommend Pacific Catch to a friend because the food was very good. The service wasn't that great though and some folks left as we walked in saying that they weren't even offered a menu after they sat down. We had to constantly remind the wait staff to bring us items that we had requested and they had acknowledged.
The extensive menu choices are impressive! We enjoyed: The petrale sole with crab mashed potatoes, and the green curry salmon bowl were all delicious. Outdoor area seating said to be quieter than inside, but it was still pretty loud.
than inside, but was still
Love the menu options and delicious entrees. Wine selections good also.
I love Pacific Catch in Corte Madera. The food is excellent and beautifully presented. Service is attentive and warm. I particularly like sitting in the sun room. It is my favorite lunch spot in Marin.
The house salad was fresh and delicious. However, I'm allergic to soy and the only dressings are soy based and no alternative was available. The fried calimari appetizer was light, crispy, and delicious. The crab cakes were mushy and while abundant with crab, lacked any crab taste. The fried Alaskan cod was great, as were the fried shrimp. The dipping sauces were awful. One tasted strongly of garlic and sugar while the other was Worcestershire sauce but red. The fried were good and the coleslaw got mixed reviews. I liked it while my husband thought it needed more dressing.
Service was pleasant but spotty. We asked five times before receiving water (well into our meal). We asked twice for silverware after our food was served. Eventually, we flagged down someone who brought us some. I asked for pepper and never received it. Yet, the food and drinks csme and check came quickly.
The above reasons are why we go there once every four or so years rather than more often. Mostly good but not the great.
One of the best places to go with a family. Very kid friendly. If a weekend be prepared to wait a bit.
Had lunch here this week -- enjoyed sitting on the patio by the warm fire when it was raining outside. Cozy.
I had the poke bowl with ahi tuna -- I love the combo of tastes and textures and there was enough to take home! My friend had the salmon bowl and she devoured it! Our waiter was attentive but not intrusive and we had a chance to eat a great lunch and visit!
