Food is excellent! Great menu! You can order number of fish you would like with your order.
great place for families...lots of kids (all on best behavior too) food is easy, and good, full bar & wine etc. they are accommodating to special requests such as more this, less that etc. we had a fun time with good food and reasonable prices...we went on a Saturday night and I would suggest reservations a must (unless you like to wait)
wonderful restaurant, loved the food, the experience and the wonderful food servers
It was busy so I was glad I had a reservation
Get the Lobster Bisque! To die for! Always great food--love the wasabi bowl with Ahi and half rice, half greens...awesome.
Staff always pleasant and prompt. Ask for Erik--he's a gem!
Have been here before but not for Happy Hour. Came here with a friend and had a great meal. Had a beer and I had the Rising Sun (tempura shrimp, avocado, ginger, cucumber wrapped in ahi tuna, ponzu) - delicious and filling.
My wife and I have been going to Pacific Catch for five years now and have frequented all locations while attending events in their respective areas. What strikes us both is the consistency of the food and a commitment to the highest standards in the industry.
Menu changes bring fresh ideas and creative combinations that compare to some of the finest restaurants in the Bay Area. Yet what is lacking is the pretentiousness and high prices that one almost expects living in the Bay. Managers often oversee dishes as they leave the kitchen; servers are attentive with good follow through.
Kudos to Pacific Catch.
Quality of food was great. Was a very busy night and they could probably have done with one more server. Overall great experience though.
The great place to see friends. Food and services was excellent, we enjoyed every minute there. I was the first time here and for sure will come again and recommend this place to all my friends.
Fresh, delicious food prepared perfectly and excellent service!
what a great selection, even for non-seafood types...inventive dishes and the rice bowl was fantastic
I have always loved this place. My wife and I have been going here since we were in high school. It is a great place to enjoy a wonderful meal and an adult beverage. On this particular outing, the service was a lot slower than it usually is. The waiter was friendly, but he was just spread out over to many tables. Overall, it was a good time and we will definitely be returning.
Our luncheon was very satisfying in all respects -- very tasty. And, the service was excellent.
The room was too hot. We were told that air conditioning doesn't do the job above 85. Too bad otherwise good experience
The air conditioning was not on, unfortunately.
It is not fancy, but Pacific Catch always delivers consistently delicious seafood, attentive service and good value for money. You can customize some of the delicious bowls and their tacos, sandwiches and specials are always good.
Seems to be off its game lately as far as food quality. Has slipped from very good to good.
Usually a good choice for a casual meal, Pacific Fresh disappointed us this time. The service was slow and uncaring. One of us requires gluten free meals, and the waiter said he passed this on to the chef, but the food was contaminated. Our celiac's reaction was strong and sudden, so we think the waiter didn't take us seriously. Also, we had called earlier and were told they were busy, but when we arrived a short while later, they had many empty tables. They still gave us a bad one. Perhaps this was punishment for using Open Table. Our reservation ( made quickly when we were told they had no tables) was not in their system. An all around poor performance by Pacific Catch.
My order was incorrect. My kid's chicken tenders were so overdone and dry, I couldn't even cut it into pieces. Server did not pick up all the garbage on the table which I left on the edge of the table so she could see it. My entree was disappointing (and I have been to the location on Chestnut many times) so I know what it should look like. I had 1 and a half slices of avocado in my wasabi bowl. What was up with the half slice? The other items in the bowl were skimpy.
While the food was very good and the overall service good, this restaurant should learn or teach its staff not to bring the client's entrees while the customer is still eating his/her apertizer. Beside crowding the table, it makes the entrée lose its serving temperature. It would have been nice to bring the drinks as fast since we had to wait 15 minutes for a glass of wine.
Love their food , but recommend to stick with their classics
Food was good, service was poor, food and drinks all took forever to come.
Really poor service. Waiter was unattentive and slow. Did not seem to care that we were dissatisfied.
Had my birthday dinner with my sister here and thought it was a delicious meal and loved the Mexican chocolate créme brûlée for dessert. Will definitely be going back.
Open Table recommended this location since it was close to where we were staying. It was easy to find, very cozy with friendly folks. The food was well prepared and tasty. Presentation was beautiful down to the drinking straws. My husband & I had seafood dishes. He had a mixed fried seafood dish & I had a grilled salmon salad. Both were very generous portions with enough to take home but, we were hungry so we at it all. We had a wonderful Shrimp ceviche that was very tasty with large chunks of avocado. We will come again!
Love the food and good upbeat service. Interesting drink choices. A bit noisy but fun place.
Food is always delicious, especially the Bowls and skirt steak!
Cocktails are amazing, esp Pisco Sour.
My kids love He forgot d and Nojitis, too!
Too expensive, everything is extra. Drinks are mediocre.
Lovely lunch outdoors with my daughter. The staff was attentive but not pushy. My daughter loved her salmon sandwich. I had the Poke Special appetizer, which made a fine meal. I love the Ahi Salad with poke, but the last time I tried to order it, I ended up with the grilled ahi. The menu needs to be clearer so that a person can order and get what they intend.
I think the food quality was not great on this visit. The tacos were on the cold side and the quality of the fish and the steak was just okay. I think the staff is great so that is a plus.
Making a reservation is key. The menu is adequate but needs more offerings under sushi which is very limited and the sashimi plates, which our server didn't know existed, need to be more visible.
The food is wonderful with lots of healthy choices. When our friends arrived late due to traffic, the waiter accommodated our requests: just drinks for us for now, then we ordered for us, then we ordered for our friends before they arrived, then they ordered their beverages. We made it to our theater matinee - helped by terrific service.
Good as always. I usually have a rice bowl but opted for the Korean BBQ ribs and a California Roll. Lots of food!
The food and service were excellent! The cocktails were well made and the beer selection has something for everyone. The crispy dulce de leche spring roll is a must have dessert!
Visit at least twice a month and the food and service are always consistently very good. I highly recommend this establishment for lunch or dinner,
First time at Pacific Catch, extremely good experience and I would definitely go again!
Great poke and sushi rolls!
We feel the price of the items on the menu is kept low because the quality of the seafood is not particularly good. This is a corporate chain of restaurants, one should expect that you get what you pay for, so caveat emptor (buyer beware).
The coconut shrimp was pretty awful – probably came from the freezer, pre-breaded with some coconut coating and thrown into the deep fryer. The shrimp I had no taste and the texture was questionable.
The rice bowls were drenched with the dressing of your choice, – the Thai green curry was very spicy and overpowered the taste of the fish and the rice/salad, and the Korean BBQ sauce was just salty and tasted like it just came out of a bottle.
Our server was quite terrific and helpful, she made the evening.
The new LED lighting, particularly from the overhead pendants, is extremely bright and unpleasant to dine under. Noticeably bright to be irritating. Not a good corporate decision...
I recently visited area & stayed locally eating three times at Pacific Catch, it is a gem.
Great food, great prices, great service! Menu has lots of choices!
