Pacific Catch - Campbell Ratings and Reviews
As good as the food was, the service was even better. Joseph was an exceptional waiter, offering a taste of the wine I selected to everyone at our table and accepting the blame for a mix-up in the kitchen. Although not his fault, he apologized and didn’t try to blame someone else. Great food and even better service; we’ll be back. Great cocktails too.
Wanted fresh local fish and got exactly that from an exciting menu with many nice options. Our crab cakes appetizer was perfect in it's special greens setting and my crab and Petrale sole was perfect. Service couldn't have been better and all reasonably priced. We will be back more often
We eat at Pacific Catch often. We've always enjoyed the food, and the chalkboard specials are creative and fun to try. We've never had bad service. The waitstaff are always friendly and efficient. And they're genuine... none of that polite-because-it's-my-job business. The manager always either greets us on the way in, stops by the table to see how things are going, or greets us on our way out. It's just a dependably super place!
We came here unexpectedly for New Year's Eve. My husband, teen, tween and I all enjoyed our experience at Pacific Catch. The tacos were great and we really enjoyed the side salad given with the entree.
We're glad we found this restaurant and look forward to dining here again.
I almost always have a good experience at this restaurant. They didn't bring the goldfish pretzels and edamame pre-appetizer this time - so that made me a little sad. We asked for a booth for a party of six. They accommodated it - but it was kind of a tight fit. Food was good. Drinks were good. Service was SLOOOOOOOOOW. We were having a lot of good conversation - so we were not too upset - but our reservation was at 6:30 - and we did order an appetizer - but the dinners did not make their way to the table until 7:45. Dessert took longer than it should have as well.
My two sons and their girlfriends took my husband, my mom and myself to dinner for my husbands 63rd Birthday. The menu was very diverse It was able to satisfy everyone at the table. The food was very delicious and we all shared a bite from our original selection since everyone was satisfied with their selection. They even gave my husband a birthday dessert at no charge and recommended the top-of-the-line dessert which was also the most expensive. That dessert was able to feed all seven of us and was very delicious. I would highly recommend this for any meal, but exceptionally awesome for a celebration which includes a big party attendance. A place that we will definitely be back for our next family celebration and yummy meal.
I like this restaurant for the location, quality and price of the entrees. A must: you should like seafood. We've dined here as well as the Mountain View location and find that the quality is reliable and the food dependable. My favorite: the Oyster basked with the house salad! The oysters are large and plentiful. The fish and chips this time was disappointing as the fish wan't crispy. The service was a little slow this time but it was Christmas Eve and the staff had several large tables. Otherwise, the service is above average as is the food!
Very disappointed! I've been here numerous times and always had great meals and service. After having been seated at a small table, we ordered an appetizer and dinner. The appetizer arrived well enough, but 5 minutes later, the main courses came and they crowded our tiny table not even giving us the time to eat the appetizer. F%#king ridiculous! Unfortunately, this is not the only restaurant in the area that I've experienced this with.
Are the kitchens just stupid and unorganized or is it the wait staff or perhaps, being a party of 2 makes them all want to rush us out. In what Bizzaro world does the appetizer come with the meal. F$%king DUH!
Im so glad I made a reservation because it was busier than I expected for a weeknight. The waitstaff, however, did not miss a beat. They provided great service from start to finish, which was particularly appreciated because my group of four was celebrating a birthday. Thank you, Pacific Catch.
We frequent Pacific Catch regularly and try to take people that have never been. Which was the case in our last visit on 11/18. We had a great dinner. We started with a CA Roll and cocktails. I had my usual Shrimp Tacos, which are delicious, while others had Ceviche, Sticky Ribs, Sushi, Fish Tacos and some desserts.
My family and I had a great time at Pacific Catch! We have loved it since it opened and come here for celebrations (such as the other night) and when we simply want good quality, healthy food and/or fish. The service and ambiance were great. The food got 4 stars because when it came time for dessert they were out of about 1/3 of the dessert menu, which also happened to be the things we were planning to order. Otherwise, everything was delicious!
Love this place and the food. We all had rice bowls this trip, a must have at Pacific Catch. We always order with half brown rice, half lettuce, to cut down on carbs. The Wasabi bowl is the best, my girlfriend had the Ahi and I had the Salmon on mine. The men each had the teriyaki bowl, and in addition to the half brown rice, half lettuce, they both got two proteins, another great option if your really hungry. One had the Korean ribs with poke and the other had chicken with crab salad. Everyone went home not stuffed but completely satisfied! Can't beat that for a night out with friends.
