Food was great, however even though two calls were placed notifying them that we would be late for our reservation (they indicated it was not an issue as it was a slow Monday lunch), when we arrived, they acted like we were not expected and we waited for them to set the table. The restaurant at the time was 90% empty.
Best place in north Atlanta for me!!!
Laid back vibe and nice wine list.
It’s been awhile but we typically enjoy our dining experience at Paces & Vine! Have they gone under new management?
New menu (nothing to rave about) - possibly seasonal
Barely saw our server .. lengthly wait time for our food and came to us lukewarm.
Love the outdoor patio, and you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu!
Great everything including the food, service and environment.
Good Food, Good Service & Great spot for sitting outside on a pleasant afternoon and evening.
Great to get, first chairs right next to the fire, and then a table. They kept the fire stoked, and the service excellent!
I love this spot for Sunday brunch. It's centrally located to a lot of places so location is key. I like that you can make reservations and don't just have to show up on the fly and hope to get a table. The food is amazing and the service is wonderful. My only suggestion would be to have an unlimited mimosas selection. At $8 a pop they get pretty expensive quickly. But other than that always a great choice!
Horrible service from the start. Arrived 30 min before reservation ordered a drink from the bar and 10 minutes later the same bartender (one of two) not working hard came back and asked if I wanted something to drink. He had “forgotten” I had already ordered. I received drinks as I was being seated and the change he gave me suggested a 30% tip. At the table the waiter pet dogs, neglected all of his tables, and was horrible. At the end of dinner the manager checked to see how I liked my wine (one of the most expensive on the list). I poured every glass. My daughter got ketchup for her burger when she was done eating. We ordered 3 courses and were there for 3 hours. My wife and I drank a bottle of wine before our first courses came out! When we were paying ($400 for 2 adults and 2 children) the waiter asked if we came often, we told him we just moved to the neighborhood, he told me the next time I’m in I should sign up for the loyalty program.
Food and service was GREAT! We sat outside which started lovely but a VERY intoxicated group ruined our experience. Would have liked to see management take control of people so blatantly out of control. Especially at a family friendly restaurant
Great ambiance, food, drinks, and service. Met another couple there and time just flew by.
The salmon, as ever, was great. The special crab cake appetizer was also first-rate, although the black pepper reduction provided with it overwhelmed the crab taste. For a pre-dinner drink, I highly recommend the Old Fashion, which was among the best I've had. All around this restaurant provides a comfortable and pleasurable experience. I'll be back.
Three of us enjoyed our dinners--all seafood. One had the bronzino special and said it was wonderful. Another had simply the scallops appetizer with a Caesar salad and raved about both. I had my favorite salad--the market salad that is not on the menu but always available when I ask--and it was as good as always, especially the wonderfully thinly sliced watermelon radishes. I had the crabcake appetizer for my entree, and while it was good, it still does not compare with the crabcake served at Houston's. I do not kid when I say that the good chef at P & V should go to Houston's--five minutes away--and order crabcakes, either in the delicious salad version or as an entree. They do something very special with the true lump crabmeat. Service at P & V was excellent, as usual--attentive, but not overwhelming, quietly serving water or pouring wine and not taking over the conversation. One of our favorite places.
Winter was excellent. Very pleasant and attentive!
One of my favorite places. Fantastic brunch for Easter.
Food was great but the service was not. The waiter walked around the room about 4 times over 10mins before I could get his attention to get our drinks. He then was very short with us and kept focusing on the other tables and was checking on us. He did not come by again and we finally started asking for help from a different waiter who was much kinder and more helpful. For the cost level of this restaurant I excepted much better service (I’ve had better at chili’s) we just wanted to get out of there by the end.
Great Easter Brunch! Wonderful service! Great atmosphere!
We have eaten Easter brunch the past two years now. We were slighter underwhelmed this year for the food. There were half the stations for the buffet and much fewer options.
Great service. Small entree portions.
Excellent ambiance and location; it feels so tucked away and secluded but with access to so many shops and amenities. Enjoyed my first visit and will definitely add this to my list of lunch spots.
Always great food and service here. I like that you can make a reservation because the wait without one is crazy long. The brunch menu on Sunday is fantastic and I make it our spot for ladies to brunch. Only suggestion is having an unlimited mimosa option. At $8 a mimosa after two you have racked up a tab. So many places have an unlimited option even for others drinks like a bellini. Over all though very pleased and will continue to patronize.
The ambiance was amazing! I went with all my girlfriends and each of us ordered different dishes. All were delicious!
The restaurant layout is very nice. We sat inside by a window facing the patio. The staff was very friendly and professional. We had the mussels for an appetizer and they were very good. Our entrees were good, but neither me or my wife were blown away. Presentation was very good. We were there for almost 2 hours with appetizers, entrees and after dinner drinks, which was fine with us. The staff took the time to make sure we enjoyed our experience and didn’t rush us. By the time we were leaving it had gotten pretty noisy and was a little hard for us to hear each other. I feel that the price is a little high for the quality, but the location probably has a lot to do with that. Overall it was a very nice experience and my wife and I were happy we went.
Food was excellent & so was the service. Ask for Austin!
I was great
One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta! Great food and fantastic service! They treat us like family!
Fantastic place to eat. I attend there often church for brunch
Paces & Vine is in a great location in the center of Vinings. This is a great time of year to enjoy the outdoor patio. The food is good, from salads, burgers to fish and meat. Service was good.
The chef they had has obviously left the building. I order trout mostly and it was fine but the food with it was terrible. I have loved all of it for two years but this was nothingness.
We had the pasta special which was delicious! There were only 3 rather small ravioli. I could have eaten 1-2 more and I am not a big eater.
It was wonderful. Paces and Vine is the perfect place to go if you want a cool sit-down restaurant with a great atmosphere and delicious food.
Very good food even though my wife did not like the risotto that came with the fish, and even though, they forgot one item we ordered AND gave us the check before offering the dessert menu :), it was good. We both enjoy it. Noise level was high maybe because there was a party of approx 10 people behind us that was loud as more alcohol was served. Price was reasonable, about $130 for two including two glasses of wine AND the dessert :) as well as the tip.
Excellent.. Brunch was great, had Maple Waffles with Eggs. Waffle is a mist have!
The food was amazing! I had the brisket, and it was one of the best dishes I have eaten in the Vinings - silky, smooth, flavorful, and super comforting. Our server was Craig. He was wonderful and took such great care of us! My husband and I had such a great time! We'll definitely visit again.
We all had wonderful meals. Three of us had the bronzino special, and it was delicious. The fourth person had the trout and raved about it too. Service was excellent. The noise level was a little high for our old ears, but we managed to have good conversations anyway. We had not been in too long, and we will go back soon.
Service was excellent ! We felt that we were the only ones in the restaurant .
Food was great with good service
Super comfortable neighborhood restaurant with great service.
Excellent food with small and large plates. Sunday offered 1/2 price wine for the entire wine list, no hold backs. The service including the sommelier was great. Excellent outdoor fire place for the spring and fall.
