One of my absolute favorite places in the city. Every time people come to visit, we take them here. The food is just incredibly delicious every time. The ambiance and decor are beautiful. There's honestly only one thing that is inconsistent and it's the service. It's been a hit or miss the last few times we've gone. When it's good, it's great. When it's not, it's because it's SO SLOW. The last time I went, we pretty much felt like our waiter forgot about us. Otherwise, this place is pretty perfect.

Ok so a few things - i had a reservation and they sat us in an awkward corner. - we waited a really long time to even be served or waited on at all. - my server spilt my drink on me. - very disappointing

I went with a group of girlfriends. And we each ordered the luxury omakase.!The food was spectacular, and our server was so helpful and provided amazing service! Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

Loved the food! Friendly waiters. Miso soup was unique with clams and mushrooms, and delicious. Fried chichen kaarage was my favorite. Service was a tad on the slow side but we weren’t in a hurry so it was still enjoyable.

We were there to celebrate our anniversary on Saturday night - the bartender was wonderful and gave us some complimentary bubbles to celebrate, which was lovely. Our waitress, however, was terrible. My single drink came after the bottle of wine, we ordered appetizers including a octopus salad that we kept waiting for and after 35 minutes she told us they were all sold out. We had to flag her down for many things -- it just ruined our experience. I had read other reviews saying the service wasn't great, but went despite them. There is tremendous competition in the sushi marketplace and Pabu needs to work on their service before we go back.
