P.F. Chang's - Waikiki
We went for Valentine’s Day with another couple. We really enjoyed it. One of our guest had never tried PF Chang’s before and he loved it!
Made us wait for 1 hour at the bar despite having a reservation than claimed we didn’t show!!!!
The server was great! The bartender made mistakes repeatedly on all drinks. We were then charged for the wrong drinks and not for the correct ones.
Quality of food was definitely not worth the high price. Very disappointed
Consistently good no matter which we visited. The service here was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the location allows you to sit outside on the first or second levels and enjoy Hawaii.
Excellent food we willl definitely be back!!
Enjoyed the meal very much!
Not sure what we expected from P.F. Chang’s to be honest. Food was edible but far from tasty. Dynamite chicken was coated in the same Siracha mayo I can buy at the grocery store. The fried rice was tasteless. Dan Dan Noodles we’re drowning in sauce. The spicy mustard was good though, and the atmosphere of eating outside in Waikiki Beach was fun.
Always delicious food and excellent service.
We had a good (not great) meal with very efficient service. PF is a nice reliable place to eat.
Our Honolulu PF Chang is a nice place and offers excellent food.
In terms of service this seem to depend on the day of the week,
some times it is good while at other times it sucks!
Best modern Chinese restaurant we have ever eaten in .. Dillon was great, polite, prompt & curtious
Chinese New Years Special was very good. Changs always has good food with a slight twist to their recipes. The elevator was slightly challenging and all restrooms are downstairs was the only challenge. The Dim Sum
was excellent and a free appetizer(Ribs) when signing up online was delicious. Avocado rolls were our favorite. Our server was a newbie to the island and fresh from California. She was a real treat. Kung gai
fat choi (happy New Year)
Cold food. Slower service than typical at P.F. Chang’s
Unfortunately we had made reservations and it wasn’t busy but they were going to seat our party of 5 in the back. We insisted on seating outside so had 5 of us squeezed into a table of 4. Not a lot of room for all dishes ordered but we made due. Food was good.
The service and atmosphere were great, but the food was horribly cold. All of the entrees were served on super hot plates but the food was ice cold. Terrible experience for the money. I believe they probably serve pre-cooked food (for speed) and serve on hot plates. Its Waikiki, the place is packed and everyone is happy and on vacation, but they are stealing your money here. Try to avoid.
We had the pork dumpling pan fried and they were great. We also had the combo fried rice, and although there was a lot of meat/shrimp, the majority was rice. Since we were not taking any leftovers, we wound up leaving a rather large portion of just rice behind.
Great venue with children
Sever was terrible, not able to read the table.
The hostess was very nice!
Worst dining experience we’ve ever had...
Our server took our drink order, I ask if they have patron and she says “I think so” so I said I’ll take it if they have it, my husband gets the white sangria. For appetizers we get the caesar salad, crab wontons (yum,) and chicken lettuce wraps. 15 minutes goes by they brought all 3 of our apps out together, no silverware, and our server brings my patron cocktail, she said sorry for the long wait and blamed the bartender. She also said she rang in a red sangria not white so it’ll be a few more minutes. Bring out silverware and said the sangria will be a out soon. Almost done with our appetizers and someone else brings out my husbands white sangria and apologizes for the wait. Or server comes by and now offers to take our dinner order, we get the duck and the surf and turf Mongolian beef with shrimp. I ask her “does the duck come with bao buns, since the menus were closed and I couldn’t remember if it did, her reply was “I think so” so I said okay we’ll get it. Our duck comes out first and it was okay, kind of sweet and overpowered with sauce. And 20 minutes went by and said “you didn’t get your beef yet” and walks away, luckily we were sharing or someone would’ve been eating while the other not. 10 minutes went by and a manager comes by apologizing for our long wait and it’ll be up shortly- she was very nice and sincere and offered to take care of our beef & shrimp. We weren’t in any rush at all and enjoyed each others company, it was our last night and we didn’t want to make a fuss and ruin our night by being upset. Our server comes by and takes another round of drink orders from us. And to top it off when our beef entree was ready it was brought out in a TO GO BOX. We kindly told the food runner we were still eating here and he apologized and ran back and plated the beef and shrimp. We literally looked at each other and just bursted our laughing because we’ve never had such horrible service.
We were celebrating a friend’s birthday in Hawaii. We love PF Chang’s. The food and service is always superb. Unfortunately it is very hard to hear each other due to the noise! We did get a table upstairs but the noise level was still so loud!
First and foremost our server Johnathan was incredibly professional, courteous, respectful and friendly. I appreciated his attention to our needs. Our food arrived in a timely manner. The quality of the food was outstanding. All the dishes were delicious and perfect in portion size. Everything tasted wonderfully. I wish we could eat there everyday.
Always impressed with the food & service.
The food came out cold and had to be sent back. The vegetable curry was lacking the curry and the vegetables were raw - very disappointing. I have been going here for many years but the quality has been declining.
Great food / great ambience / great service
-> great experience!
Really good experience - great service and food was delicious
We sat outside for Happy Hour. The food is always great!
Great place right in the middle of Waikiki that is quick and reasonably priced
Lettuce wrap was way to salty and the chicken didn’t appear to be freshly cooked. Nice atmosphere but overpriced.
It was our 2nd visit while on holidays and the food and service didn’t let us down! The spare ribs are the favourite pick for our family along with the steamed dumplings. Service friendly and helpful and our table was ready within 5min of arrival.
We went to PF Changs after reading a number of reviews, and also based on a friend's recommendation. Our lacklustre evening started with our server, who clearly couldn't be bothered to serve us. We waited....and waited....and waited, until he finally came to our table with a lame excuse. We were hard pressed to get anything out of this guy, including cutlery, water, more drinks etc. We were excited when the food arrived, particularly as we are extremely familiar with Asian cuisine and know how it should appear and taste. Sadly the spring rolls tasted like they were from a packet rather than freshly made. The salt and pepper noodle dish was a poor take on salt and pepper prawns slapped on two minute noodles. Even our young children made a comment about the 2 minute noodles. Everything else we consumed that evening was just dull and tasteless, our local Chinese can pull together a tastier dish. We were promptly handed the bill at the end of our meal by our lazy server, who ever so kindly boldy highlighted the tip he thought we should leave him and then stood to the side waiting for us to settle the bill (mind you, we hadn't even finished our beers!). Needless to say, we couldn't leave him with nothing, so we left him with half. We had dined at many restaurants during our stay in Hawaii, both expensive and on the cheaper side, but I have to say this is the only bad meal we had. Save your money and dine elsewhere, Mahalo.
Great time, food and service. Waitress was very helpful . Drinks were kept refreshed the entire meal.
We usually really enjoy P.F. Chang's but not this one. Waikiki food was horrible. Kids fried rice was just rice and a few small pieces of chicken and onion...no flavour and very dry. We complained and they took it off our bill. We then order the sushi, big mistake, don't order sushi at any other restaurant other than a sushi place. Our bad, but it was horrible. We ate it and left right away. And the prices are inflated at this location. There are many other great restaurants in Waikiki so don't bother with this chain at this location.
At least the service was good.
We had a great time at PF Changs. The food and ambience was great. So was the service.
PF Chang is a great place with excellent food choices. Problem is that the portions are getting smaller
but the prices keep going up.
I always get the feeling that they enjoy screwing the tourists over!!!!
Great food and service. Couldn't fault it. Good for people watching
Food was great !
Service was efficient and fast !
We have eaten at P F Chang's the last two times we visited Hawaii, but this time was not a great experience. It started with the cocktails, which were frozen pre-mix rather than made from scratch as previously done. The service was non-attentive, and the food was mediocre. It seemed like new ownership or management was in place, as every aspect had deteriorated. I wouldn't recommend it based on this recent experience, and knowing what it was previously capable of delivering.
Loved it, food amazing - only negative is giant portions!
Great food, great service, awesome prices.
