Wonderful food, great service, awesome experience!
We were late from our 5pm reservation but they still able to accommodate us and we really appreciate it. Our server was so attentive of our needs and friendly 👍
So good to be back at Ozumo and see some of our favorite servers and bartenders. Food and service was outstanding.
Its a good place (not great) for Sushi. I think the best way to order it to ask which fish are fresh. Location is great and the staff was friendly.
Best Japanese restaurant Customer service the best
Outstanding in price but nothing else. Mediocre restaurant prices at high end.
This was my first time back in a bar since the lockdown and it could not have been better!!
came here for a team dinner. first time since february 2020! not only was the food and service great but we lucked out with great summer weather!
Got the cod and small fried potatoes. Delicious with wine. Sat at the bar, service was attentive and I was able to read my book
Amazing thank you Danielle best sushi and service
Really good food and excellent service!
Excellent - the food and service were great; always top quality sushi and fish at this restaurant. Highly recommended.
Service was excellent . Food is just ok, prices don’t match taste. I was not impressed.
everything was excellent. I will certainly go back again.
We did not have great service. Our server forgot out menu and didn't read our special note for a birthday celebration. The birthday impact was totally disregarded. Food is excellent!
Food and Ambience was good but the waiter mislead us about the food! He wanted us to order much more than was required.
always the best selection and highest quality fish in SF. Julie at the bar makes a mean perfect Manhattan. Toro, toro, toro
Outstanding dinner. Beautiful restaurant, our server was knowledgeable and helped us make decisions since the menu had so many great choices. Cocktails were great too!
My cousin crossed the Bay to come and have ramen. The ramen was delicious. The service was friendly.
Crisp sake. Great food. Excellent starters. Freshest ever sashimi. Desserts to die for. Service was superlative. Guests were ecstatic.
Patio dining facing the Bay Bridge was spectacular!
Anniversary and birthday trip
It is a favorite
Had severe stomach ache 1~1.5 hours after having some of the rolls / tuna tartar. I suspect some of the ingredients had gone bad.
From the moment we walked in everyone greeted us. We chose to sit outside and we were very comfortable as the space heaters kept us warm. We would like to give a very big compliment to our waitress, Ginnie, who was exceptional and very personable. The food was fantastic and we will defiinitely return again in the future. Thank you to all of the Ozumo staff for a wonderful evening.
One of the best sushi spots in SF, decent crowd inside and out.
Beautiful location & great ambiance, but unfortunately just average sushi. Overpriced. Also disappointed by the $17 cocktail that was overly sweet & mostly just ice.
We strolled in on a Sunday afternoon to try this restaurant that we always drive by. We were greeted warmly and chose to sit in the lounge near the bar. We had no idea that there was more to the restaurant than the lounge. It made sense later why they were encouraging us to sit in the dining room...it's a whole different space which was more impressive than we expected.
In the lounge, the server, Ben, was very friendly and knowledgable. He asked what types of drinks we typically enjoy and he made excellent recommendations ranging in price. He took note of what we planned to eat and recommended drinks that would pair well with our meal. He did not disappoint.
BUT as if Ben was not already an amazing server/bartender, he invited over ROYCE, the Sommelier, Beverage Connoisseur, Extreme Mixologist, The Man! He's the go-to person if you want to be educated on spirits, cocktails, and everything in between. He will give you a tasting experience you won't forget.
The food is to die for. The chef prepared the most amazing omakase we could ever imagine. Everything was prepared and presented beautifully. The pairing of sashimi and sake was mind blowing. The food was definitely worthy of a Michelin rating. The service was world class.
Overall, Ozumo was the ultimate gastro experience in a classy yet non-pretentious atmosphere.
We showed up at 11:52 am. Snippy host informed us that they weren't opening until noon, spun on his heels and walked away. Put a damper on the whole experience when we returned in eight minutes and there was a long line. Gyoja were on the verge of being burnt. Kind of expensive, especially considering the way we were treated.
