Oxbow is excited to welcome you to tuck into our seasonally changing menu curated around elevated comfort food with a French twist. Our Lobby Bar featuring the original wood burning fireplace and Dining Room are open year-round, with a seasonal Patio facing the river. Open for dinner Wednesday to Sunday, Happy Hour Wednesday to Sunday from 3-6 and Sunday Afternoon Tea.

At Oxbow, we want you to indulge in the art of good food. We choose to play with our menu, bending traditional cuisine and featuring a rotating chefs tasting menu with the option to enhance your experience with pairings curated to compliment each course. My wife and I came here for a date night and it was excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended an alteration to a menu on the drink that was excellent. We came for happy hour, and also ordered off the main menu, which is the best of both worlds from the tartare, to the oysters, to the duck breast, and the steak ribeye. Everything was delicious and we couldn't have asked for more!

I always enjoy the food at Oxbow. Seasonal changes to the menu are great. The service is friendly and efficient. Meals and drinks arrive quickly I never feel rushed. The pre-season patio was good for catching a bit of the brief pre-summer sun.

Great service…. Staff was very attentive. Food was delicious. Enjoyed 5 course YYC Exp meal - chef and kitchen staff delivered very tasty meal with incredible flavours. Will return!

My wife and I went to the Oxbow to experience their Signature Culinary event which was a collaboration between the chefs at The Yellow Door Bistro and the Oxbow. We were very excited as we love both of the restaurants. Unfortunately it seems the event overwhelmed them as the service was extremely off. The food courses were very good to excellent. It just took way too long to get our drinks and meal courses. We were booked for the 7 pm. Seating. When we arrived the staff member that greeted us seemed quite harried and flustered as she seated us. She did mention that they were running late. We did not get our first drinks until 7:30 and we finally got to place our order at that time. My wife selected from the special a la carte menu and I ordered the tasting menu. The bread course featured a special coffee butter which was delicious. My wife had the beet tart tatin (very good) and I had the Hamachi crudo (excellent) for the appetizer. We then had an extremely long wait for the next course. In fact they brought the 4th course to our table by mistake before we had been served the 3rd course. They did apologize right away for the mix up. The third course was excellent, Beef Tartare for my wife and the French Onion Agnoloti for me. After another delay we were served the 4th course. My wife had the Trout which was superb, and I had the Fennel Sausage entree which had fantastic flavours but the sausage was a bit dry. We then had another very long wait to get my dessert. My wife ordered a latte which took a long time to come but she had finished it before I was served the dessert. The dessert was a carmelized brioche which was very tasty but the Brioche was a little chewy and hard to eat with a spoon. We appreciate that the restaurant acknowledged the service issues and they did apologize and adjusted our bill (and gave my wife a delicious dessert to take home). We believe this was just an anomaly due to the nature of the event and will return to each restaurant.
