Service was great but food was extremely overpriced. 6 Oysters for over $20, which were very small is ridiculous. The Cioppino, which I've had before from Oxbow, was much smaller than last time and didn't even fill up half of the bowl... Make the portions adequate to the top dollar you're charging for food. I was also charged $4 twice for 2 servings of bread... Who does that?....

The food and atmosphere were great. Booking on OpenTable was easy, or so I thought. I booked a reservation for 2, indoors, and when I arrived the host was nervous and kept asking if I’d like to sit outside with a good view. The entire restaurant truly has a nice view, and I preferred indoors. I was then told we had to sit outside or at the bar because all other tables were reserved. We sat at the bar and saw the 2 tables we were initially walked to remained open the rest of the evening. That was annoying. But other wise I had a nice time.

Expected this to be much fancier. It looks fancy on the outside but more like a sports bar on the inside. When you walk in, you have to walk through a store first before you get to a host which was a little weird. Also, I booked a standard table but they had only a high top table which was disappointing. Food and drinks were good but nothing out of the ordinary

We went to celebrate our anniversary. Our waiter was great. Our food…we had the smoked fish dip for an app, I had the roasted pear salad which was AMAZING, and my husband had the skirt steak frite which was also amazing. We will be back. I’ll be craving that salad!

Great menu, service and ambiance. Very interesting drink menu. Great choices in apps and entrees also. Outdoor dining has great views, actually so does indoor seating. The highlight is that like many restaurants in Fort Myers, outdoor dining is pet friendly. Our dogs got their drinks before we did! We will certainly return!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Oxbow. The food, service, & ambiance (we ate outside overlooking the water) we’re top-notch. We are just passing thru Fort Myers, but we told the waiter (Steven) we would be back…and we meant it!

Garrett was a fantastic server. We parked at the small lot on the left and parking validation was a breeze after following the directions. We ordered the ahi poke bowl and the shrimp hoagie roll with fries were very fresh for lunch. Highly recommend.

The food was way overpriced, a NY Strip steak cost $65 (this was my own fault as it was listed as “market price” and I did not question it, but still). I do not mind paying if the value is there, however the entrees were just ok, and the drink was awful. I had read some reviews that were negative and thought they were exaggerating…they were not. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

Lovely views of the river! Service was very good, not busy at noon on a weekday. Limited parking but not on a Tuesday for lunch. I was surprised at the limited lunch menu. I found something I liked but not much to pick from. I had shrimp roll, good filling but they put it on a hotdog bun! My friend had a salad which was delicious. Wine was overpriced for the selection, even though I got 2.00 off a glass, since it was happy hour. It was still over 10.00 for a not real fancy glass of wine.

If you are going for drinks only it is pricey. Food is cold, front staff is good. The cook staff is terrible. Cold food and not eatable, even after they replaced it with new orders. Didn’t even toast the bread or English muffins on the eggs Beni. Only a tablespoon of hollandaise sauce on each piece, $19.00 per order.

What a find! We were just in Fort Myers for the day and wanted to find a place for lunch before driving home. At noon, Oxbow was serving their brunch menu (perfect since we hadn't had breakfast!). Avocado toast was better than any previous version I've had and my husband enjoyed the smoked salmon benedict. If we weren't driving, a mimosa or bloody mary would have been great along with our meals. We will be back!
