   Great food in a great space! The Summit Hotel is a beautiful place and the Overlook lived up to its surroundings. The salads were unique, fresh and delicious and I would definitely recommend the sweet potato gnocchi.

   This restaurant has so much potential but at the moment it is simply mediocre. The drinks are over priced for not being anything special. While the dishes ordered were fine and beautifully presented, every course had an issue. The salad was under- dressed and desperately craving an extra punch of acid. The steak dish had a turnip/ horseradish puree that was lacking in horseradish, thus providing an underwhelming contrast to the rich steak. Another sauce would have greatly benefitted the dish as well. The Lemon tart dessert was perfectly passable but something I could easily make at home.... Otherwise, the service was great and the restaurant is beautiful. It just needs to find a culinary stride.

   The soup and salmon were over salted, but the crust on the salmon was great. I didn’t get feel satisfied with the garbanzo bean side dish. The server did a nice job and the staff I interacted with were very nice. The parking garage is a bit bizarre. Large cement pylons are very close beside each parking spot which made it quite difficult to park. Every single one’s have car paint all over them so many people have skimmed them.

    I am sure that when the outdoor areas are open it is much more impressive, but the indoor area is rather plain and feels like a diner/bar. The menu is extremely limited, but everything we ate there was good and the prices were reasonable. The service was good.

    The hostesses were lovely and helpful. Our server was fine, no major issues. But they were only serving their lunch menu on a Friday night, which was pretty disappointing. They were also out of a few beers on draft, without replacements. The atmosphere could be nice but the view isn’t really anything great and the inside of the entire hotel is strange/sterile. Lots of empty space. When we were taken to our table there was ketchup spilled all over the concrete and it looked like it had been left for a few hours to bake in the sun. The server made a comment it must’ve been from the night before. That was just strange and they didn’t have the proper supplies to clean it up. So bees tended to gather by our table. We all ordered burgers which were just fine. I don’t think we will return. Just not noteworthy or special enough when there are so many other good places.

    Excellent service. Nice, laid back atmosphere. Wings and caesar salad were tasty. Even had live music. Only improvement would be broader food and drink selection. Will be back!

    Me & my wife went on the Thursday before the Cincinnati Music Fest. It was 97 degrees outside but the rooftop had a few shaded areas. The hamburger that my wife had was really good. I got the strip steak & it was very tasty. They have free parking & a bar.

    When we walked to the host station, the host had his back to any customers, doing something on his phone. We were seated, and given the menu, which was very limited. I ordered their featured burger for Cincinnati Burger Week, which could not be modified in any way. You couldn't even ask to have it served with no pickles. It was a thin burger with a decent flavor, but very dry. The burger was served in a paper boat like you get an order from fries at the county fair. It was like the burgers were all prepped ahead of time, and then warmed individually when one was ordered. We had no napkins or utensils until we asked for them. Someone brought my wife and I a sealed packet with a small napkin, and a plastic knife and spoon, the kind you get with a carryout order from KFC. Our server checked on us a couple minutes after we were served. When we were finished, we waited for her to return, finally I got the attention of another employee, and ask him to find the server so we could get our check. After five more minutes, she came with the check. I gave her my card, and when she ran it, and brought it back, I finally looked at the total. She had charged my wife twice for her meal. It took another five minutes to get that resolved. My impression was they had just opened, and had lots of wrinkles to iron out. When I got home, I checked TripAdvisor, and they had been open for more than a year. :(

    Four of us enjoyed a healthy lunch. The server was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The food was hot, quick and delicious. It was too hot to eat outside, but the view was great.

    Nice to be outside but the view isn’t anything to rave about. Food was ok but menu selection was extremely limited. Service was excellent and the hotel and resteraunt atmosphere was very nice - especially if you like modern decor.

    Food was very good. Service was not. Asked multiple times if someone was serving our table. Then had to flag down a staff member wondering around to get us drinks after most of us had completed our first course. Once our "real" server started taking care of us, after 25 minutes or more, she was very pleasant and attentive. Most of the staff members around the buffet were on point others seemed annoyed to even be there. If you looking for good food and poor service, this is the place.

    We celebrated 2 birthdays with our party of 4 and they treated us to a complimentary glass of champagne. Our waiter Daniel was very friendly and attentive. The best part was the food was all very tasty. We can’t wait to go back when the weather gets warmer and can sit out on the beautiful patio.

    Quiet night so ambiance a little cool/sterile but service was faultless and gnocci and chocolate brownie was excellent. Would return. Easy parking in garage attached to the hotel. Patio will rock when warm weather arrives.

    Very small and very casual hotel restaurant. By the way the parking structure is awful. Lots of columns lead to most people having trouble parking and some using 2 parking spots. I would describe it as a bar with a few tables. The menu is super basic and small. The food was well prepared. I would suspect most people staying at the hotel dine out since there were few patrons.

    Service was very good at the Overlook Kitchen! We were kindly greeted upon arrival and shown to our table. Our server was very personable and attentive, he gave us suggestions and overall we were pleased with our meals. The brussel sprouts and chicken wing starters were a hit with the whole table! The grits that came with the salmon were very, very good! I went for my birthday with my adult children and we had a good time!

    The best part of the meal was the manager's accommodation and discount because my steak was not cooked according to my request. I was disappointed in the wine selection; the vegetarian option was a block of tofu; the ambience was non-existent (stark walls), and the wait staff was not adequately prepared for the kind of high-end service that the restaurant purports to offer. If you're looking for a nice night out, I'd recommend trying elsewhere.

    Supper before a show - sister time. Valentine - special limited menu. We had special pre-dinner drinks, small delicious starter, amazing breads with 3 different butters. Our meals of beet salad and eggplant tofu were delicious. Very well presented and not too much food for us to finish. The service was great, regular check ins and glasses topped off. Beautiful location (summer must be bright and cheery) but a bit cool and austere with the weather. We will be back for regular menu!

    We had a group traveling for business and all wanting a low key spot to watch a basketball game. Cannot commend the staff at the restaurant enough as they made it a great night for all of us. Food was good and service was top notch.

    The live music with amplifier was far far too loud for dining. They could’ve gone acoustic and it would’ve been nice but we had a shout at each other to have a conversation we were sitting right next to each other. They were understaffed as many restaurants are these days. As a hotel restaurant they should probably keep a full staff based on their occupancy. Service was very very friendly and very very slow. All the dinners came out at different times. One dinner 25 min later than others. Food was tasty. A whole bank of tables against the wall had zero light and no table lighting it was very weird.

    The hotel is beautiful and the restaurant’s ambiance is nice. The food was seemingly overpriced, looked good but had no flavor. The staff was friendly but the server (Pamela) did not know the menu items, and guessed incorrectly a few times. The server suggested side Caesar salads with our steaks so we added them, only to get the bill and she charged us full price for a full salad though when the salad came out it did seem like a side. When we asked about it she said Caesar wasn’t a side salad option, however she offered it. Overall the experience was okay, however we won’t be back as the service was slow and the food was bland.
