   The food is excellent. The noise level is unbearable. I question the safety level for staff who work in that noise level for several hours a day. The server did their best but we had several items that were very late arriving to the table and one item that never showed up. We will return only if the noise level is addressed with some noise reduction features.

   The ambience and service were very good, seated at a window inside. The menu was limited but what we ordered was good but not outstanding. It was not a dining experience that made us want to return soon.

   The restaurant is beautiful, and the staff were generally friendly; however, once seated, the overall service experience fell short of expectations. To summarize the issues we encountered: 1- Drink Service Delays: It took an unusually long time to receive our drinks. When they finally arrived, only my wife’s drink was served. I was informed that the bar had run out of Grand Marnier, although I had ordered a Rusty Nail, which traditionally does not require that ingredient. I then requested a single malt scotch on the rocks, which also took significant time to arrive. I eventually had to follow up with a staff member, who I believe was a manager, before the drink was promptly brought out. Unfortunately, my first drink arrived just five minutes before our meals were served. 2- Long Wait for Food: Our server disappeared for extended periods, and we noticed that our meals were served significantly later than those at tables seated after us. In total, we waited close to 80 minutes from the time we placed our order to when our food was delivered. 3- Lack of Attentiveness: Our server seemed more focused on larger groups and gave minimal attention to our table throughout the evening. Ironically, the only time he was prompt was when we asked for the bill. This was our first and last visit.

   Yesterday we had a birthday dinner at the restaurant. There were eight people at the table. The service was very slow. We had to wait about two hours for our food. When food arrived some dishes were cold and we had to send them back to the kitchen. The waitress was very busy with our clients and hardly asked us about the food quality and our needs. The room temperature was cold. AC was blowing at the table. We couldn't light the candles on the cake. When we complained the manager told us the AC is broken. Ah ... So many things just gone wrong.

   Upbeat ambiance, 5-star dishes, service and view! I would recommend trying Overlea for a date night, family gathering or a night out on the town.

   Would have been 5 stars if as others have said, the noise was dealt with. It’s loud but food and service is good. Be patient if there’s an event going on as they do weddings and that will affect food times and availabilities but that’s hit and miss. Great view and location otherwise.

    This was our second time back to Overlea and unfortunately it will be the last time we come to the restaurant when there is a wedding going on at the same time. We waited an hour in between appetizers and main meal and at that hour we were told two of our dishes were no longer available. This after being told that most of the non alcoholic drink choices were not available either. We were open to being given a different dish but what came out was not edible so we literally had two of us leaving the restaurant without having eaten after two and a half hours. Our waiter Julian and Trisha the manager are both amazing and it certainly was not their fault. But running a restaurant where you are prioritizing both the noise and the food for wedding patrons is not sustainable. I would really like to give Overlea a third chance and will make sure I only book when an event is not happening. With wedding guests walking back and forth all night behind us, it really is a brutal experience for restaurant guests.
