   The food and cocktails were great. No real fault of the restaurant but we had a family sharing our table and the toddler was literally climbing up on and banging on the table making all of our glass ware shake. The parents did nothing. We were there on the early side - 6:30 there were lots of other kids there which is fine. We have kids. But this kid? No thank you. The other “ambiance” issue was the music. Really bad electonica. Between that and the slamming kid it was a very loud stressful experience.

   First, made a reservation through Open Table. Was asked type of seating, standard was chosen. Arrived on time, only hightops were available. Waited twenty minutes to be seated. “So you can take the reservation, but can’t make the reservation.” They tried to accommodate us by taking our order before we sat down. Pizza served, meatballs served. Meatballs were very good. Pizza was so under cooked you couldn’t tell the dough from the cheese in the middle of the pie, soft and wet. So the meal began with the staff being unprepared for a reservation then the pie was served before it was cooked properly. Not good!

   We had amazing service from our server (Andina, sp?), the food was delicious and fast. It’s been some years since I’ve visited Oven and Shaker but it’s far better than I remember. I will definitely make a point to dine here more often.

   It’s our go to place before the theater… the Burrata Arugula with Crostini is a perfect meal!

   Very good food but very slow service. Had to flag down someone to take our order and get water.

   Get the chickpeas! So delicious. And the kalettes? Who knew there was such a veggie! The dressing on the bottom of the plate was divine. The rest of the night was pizza and salad. Yummy. Perfect crust and just the right combo for the Daviola. Quick, cordial service. Thanks Oven and Shaker!
