   My only complaint is the bar stools are the majority of the seating and with no back they are very uncomfortable. Of course the few tables they had were reserved way ahead. Why would you make the majority of the pls e uncomfortable seating?

   We had a very disappointing experience. I have been to the Portland location and really liked it, but the LO restaurant is nothing like it. The service was terrible. We were a party of 7 and the put us in a corner table for 6 and had 4 places on the bench in the corner so if anyone had to get up everyone had to get up to let them out… there were 2 empty 2-top tables next to us but hostess wanted to keep them open in case other customers arrived! The waiter recommended we order a pizza per person but once we got them it was obvious we had way too much food - but I guess he thought he’d get more tip off our 7 pizza order. The pizza crusts were not crisp and nothing like the downtown location. I definitely won’t go back.

   The hostess was condescending upon arrival and our waitress was disappointing. She, admittedly so, wasn’t experienced in opening or pouring wine; the cork broke into the wine, so we had cork in our glasses, she slammed the glasses down when she approached the table, and she spilled when pouring both glasses. Someone she seemingly knew came into the restaurant, and she was extremely distracted by them, so she stopped servicing our table and the new hostess ended up coming over to check on us/gave us our check. Overall, this was our worst experience we’ve had with Oven and Shaker, unfortunately.

   We really like the Nostrana salad and the various pizza choices. The beer was nice and cold, and the house made ginger ale was tasty.

    My husband and I went here for an Early Valentine’s Day celebration and it was wonderful! We had the special cocktail, a delicious appetizer, main entree pizza and then the seasonal dessert and it was Incredible!!! Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us pick the perfect meal. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back. Thank you for an Amazing experience.

    Always love the Nostrana salad 😋 Mushroom pizza with added toppings was perfect for two. Nice ‘strong’ cocktail 👍🏽 Great for conversation since we came in about 60 mts before closing 👍🏽 EXCELLENT SERVICE 👌🏽

    We loved the evening. Three of us met to catch up and fortunately the noise level was perfect for us to all join in the conversation. The food was delicious and the cocktails and wine excellent. Service was prompt but not intrusive. Thank you!

    We are regulars at Oven and Shaker for Happy Hour. Maybe add a variation/rotation in cocktails available, as they haven’t changed in the year we’ve been going there. There good. We’ve tried them all, but would appreciate more variety.

    The staff was not very friendly or attentive. It was quite cold in the restaurant, the hostess was wearing a parka and gloves. The place was not busy at all, but nobody checked on us after food was served until we were done eating. The pizza crust was soggy and all toppings fell off when we picked up a slice (they should serve with a pizza spatula). Prices were high for what you get. The pizzas were tasty though. Overall, we were disappointed.

    reliable & tasty - the Nostrana salad always hits the spot and the pizza was yummy. service was fine. a little slow at times given it wasn't busy inside the restaurant but clearly high demand for take out orders has an impact.

    The service was outstanding. The food was unimpressive. We had the burrata appetizer and while the pickled veggies were nice, the bread was so thick and hard it overwhelmed everything and was hard to chew. We also had the margherita and the mushroom pizza. I liked the fresh garlic on the mushroom pizza. The sauce on the margherita was good, but there was too much of it. The crust on both could have used another minute or two of cook time.

    Enjoyed the apps and salads. Unfortunately the pizza is just ok. The crust is soggy and you have to eat the pizza with a fork and knife. I really wanted to like it, it’s a newish neighborhood restaurant and we tried the pizza multiple nights just to see if the crust was having a bad day, but results were the same.

    The outdoor seating at the restaurant was very charming and the wait staff was really polite and helpful but the food was kind of underwhelming… We had heard so many good things about the food that our expectations we pretty high and although the pizza dough was pretty tasty, the pizza as a whole was just not that delicious. The sauce was plain seeming to be void of any herbs or spices and the amount of toppings was pretty scant. I really wish we could have give this a better review but it was just very average.

    Oven and Shaker. Seriously fun, potent cocktails and inventive, impeccable prepared personal size pizzas all served by waiters who are actually attentive and care, in a cool environment. I'm glad they were able to take that Pearl District vibe and successfully transplant it to Lake O.
