Outdoors at Millwright’s

Just time and my wife so we got a nice seat on the bridge overlooking the falls, beautiful spot. Expensive but the food is absolutely amazing.

Everything was great! The staff did their best to limit contact, but we’re always available when needed. Food was hot and delicious. We needed to keep jackets on and wore scarves, but were comfortable with the temperature with the heater over the table and by our feet. Breathtaking views from the bridge pods! Overall highly recommend.

An cozy, intimate dinner for two with an inventive menu and great wine. Can't wait to go back!

We do not eat inside restaurants yet and when I saw these outdoor bridge pods and greenhouses I was so excited!! Eating outside in the winter! It was snowing so it was like eating in a little fairy wonderland. It was so comfortable inside them we took off all jackets. The food was amazing and the service was as well. We had a dairy allergy in our party and they listened and compensated for it by making a special course. It was a little pricey so it makes regular dining a little difficult but it was a special occasion so we had no problem splurging. It was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing and gave us a bit of normalcy during our very restricted lifestyle.

Amazing experience. Ron and everyone that evening went above and beyond to make sure we comfortable.

Millwrights is my favorite restaurant and it never disappoints. I’m only giving 4 stars for the food because it tends to be a little too salty but still delicious and they get 5 stars for their creativity. I can’t say enough about the genuinely friendly staff and servers. I feel it’s too trite to say they are “fabulous” but they are.

Overall our experience was wonderful. The food was amazing! The only drawback was the salmon was somewhat overdone.
The service was very good in the beginning of the evening but there was a lag between the 2nd course and the entree.
Again, our overall experience was great with 2 small exceptions.

Birthday dinner

We dined in one of the private greenhouses. Not only were drinks, dinner and wines delicious but the service and overall experience was warm and entertaining.

Greenhouses are awesome!!! So much more than just a “green house”... really it was an incredible night out needed so badly.

Food was extraordinary, service was friendly and helpful, grounds were lovely, dining in a greenhouse for two people a bit bizarre and disorienting. Oh, well, three out of four isn’t bad. We’ll probably try again when the main dining room reopens.

Most amazing evening from service to five star menu and you can’t beat the view!

Our server was Jess who did a superb job of communicating and had excellent timing. Could not have been better. The food was superb. Millwrights has done an excellent job of adapting to the health restrictions and providing a nice opportunity to get out and enjoy a wonderful meal.

Had an amazing time in a Greenhouse with a party of 7, all of the courses were delicious and we felt very comfortable and safe with the limited contact with the staff. They really went out of their way to take every precaution possible.

Absolutely fantastic experience. We had booked early in the month once we finally secured safe care for our kiddos. It did not disappoint, every detail taken into attention. Get a reservation, layer up to your comfort (I’m always cold) and go. The views of the waterfall were spectacular, partially frozen. Chef and team really knock it out of the park.

We so much appreciate the effort to create a fun unique outdoor eating experience in this crazy time. We haven’t been to a restaurant since Early Fall. Thank you for thinking outside the box and bringing something different to our never ending Groundhog Day. We are very grateful.

Very very quaint space. We were there on a very cold night and we were quite comfortable. It was unique and exciting. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to safely venture out in this COVI-19 environment.

This was such an incredible evening and dining experience. They set up outdoor greenhouses for a safe, culinary adventure during COVID. They had a 4 course prix fixe menu, with entrée options for everyone. Thank you for an amazing night!

We love the greenhouses, this was our second time. It was a lot chiller this time since it was 20 degrees out, so a blanket is a must at this time of year. The first time it was 40 out & the temp in the greenhouse was perfect, like being inside. I ordered the same entree and was disappointed that it was different from what it said on the menu. The sides were mixed together this time and took away from how delicious they both were, compared to the first time. Also, we each got a box of caramels & cookies to go the first visit & this time we got nothing at the end. First time was A+, this time was B+.

Another fantastic experience. We LOVED sitting in the bridge pod. It was like sitting in a private train pod and the view of the waterfall was phenomenal. So beautiful. The temperature was comfortable with heaters on the floor and above us. I recommend where warm shoes though. I had on closed heels and my feet were cold, but otherwise my body was warm with a long tie sweater and pants. Millwright’s took a ton of precautions and we felt super safe. Staff didn’t enter our area and they wore masks. As always, the staff was so kind and provided exceptional service. Finally, I’ve never had a bad meal at Millwright’s nor have I had bad wine. I’m still dreaming about everything we ate and drank! Would love to sit in the pods again! Even when it’s warmer in the summer time! It was just another fantastic Millwright’s experience!

Absolutely incredible experience for our anniversary dinner. The 4 course dinner was outstanding. They have done such a beautiful job setting up the individual greenhouses making it super intimate with two different heaters to keep you warm and views of the mill waterfall. Loved our whole experience!

We loved the care the staff took to make us feel comfortable. The individual spaces for two were cozy and heated. And the view is incomparable!

Service and food were excellent. Sitting outside in your own greenhouse is an experience in it self. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for Covid friendly dining.
