Incredibly attentive service, personalized menu and extra touches for a special occasion, and a wonderful ambiance in a private and safe area kept warm in the freezing outdoors. A+ experience.

A fantastic night out after 1 year of only take out. We really enjoyed our own safe space; I can't imagine something safer when dining out at the moment. Wonderful food and wine. Would skip the drink paring next time.

They've done an amazing job with Social Distancing. And the food and drink were excellent. Great service too!

Our outdoor individual private dinning experience was amazing!! As an Infection Control Nurse I was very impressed with the level of adherence to infection control practices. I felt relaxed, warm, and spent a romantic evening out with my fiancé. Our meals were outstanding!! Well done!!! Highly recommend!!

The ambience and atmosphere is so cozy and romantic. Such a wonderful place for a special occasion. Everyone feels safe and the separate rooms make you feel as if you are on an elegant train with separate rooms. And it is so beautiful- the waterfall and woods. Such a wonderful dining experience. I would highly recommend.

This was our first time dining out this winter, it’s hard to find places where we feel safe and outdoors in the winter can be a challenge but Millwright’s did it right! There were two of us so we were seated in the perfect little room just the right size for two people without feeling cramped with an amazing view of the waterfall. The food and drink options were perfect and everything was so good. My husband had the short rib hash and I had the crab and lobster benedict, both were really good but the hash was excellent! The service was also very good for being contactless. Overall we felt very safe and appreciate that they went above and beyond building new structures to accommodate people during the pandemic. We will definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at Millwrights. We dined on the bridge in our own little “room.” It was about 36(?) degrees out but we were quite comfortable with the over head heater and space heater that was provided for our feet. Contact with staff was fairly limited due to covid but the quality of the service was great and all of our needs were met. The food was delicious (especially the short rib!). Can’t wait to return.

Millwright's is essentially the only restaurant we've dined in at during the pandemic. We normally don't hesitate to recommend them, but it appears that their more experienced servers are working indoors Friday through Sunday, so I'd caution doing the greenhouses on those days. It's a lot of money to have anything but excellent service.

My best girlfriend and I dine here every couple
of months as our one extravagant treat to ourselves. This time was not the best. First, I reserved a greenhouse for Feb 26 back in December. We were sat on the bridge. When asked if we had any food aversions when calling to confirm my reservations three days prior I noted raw fish. First course was tuna tostada. The second course was the same fondue we experienced about 6-weeks back where you’re left hoping for more accoutrement given the half gallon of cheese remaining. Our third course, the entree, arrived an hour after the fondue had been cleared. Short rib dish was hardly warm and the chicken roulade was breaded chicken with no filling. We paid our pricey bill 2.5 hours after arriving, opting for dessert to go because we hadn’t planned on dining for 3 hours. Cocktails and desserts were delish. I’m not mentioning this to be a jerk, but I expect better from Millwrights based on their stature in the area and for the prices we pay to dine there, and think they can only get better if they receive true critiques.

We got to sit right in the middle of the river facing the waterfall. It was beautiful! Totally recommend getting the wine pairing as well.

Hands down the best service, food and ambience! We dined in the greenhouse and it was spectacular. From the time we arrived until we left we had smiles on our face the entire time.

Our visiting family had a wonderful evening at Millwrights this week. If you can secure a greenhouse they are definitely worth the time, and money. They are cozy and warm and the four course dinners are delicious.
Our only complaint would be that it is a little dark in the greenhouse and that could be rectified by a few larger lanterns.
You will not regret heading to Millwrights this winter, we felt completely safe at all times.

Just time and my wife so we got a nice seat on the bridge overlooking the falls, beautiful spot. Expensive but the food is absolutely amazing.

Everything was great! The staff did their best to limit contact, but we’re always available when needed. Food was hot and delicious. We needed to keep jackets on and wore scarves, but were comfortable with the temperature with the heater over the table and by our feet. Breathtaking views from the bridge pods! Overall highly recommend.

We do not eat inside restaurants yet and when I saw these outdoor bridge pods and greenhouses I was so excited!! Eating outside in the winter! It was snowing so it was like eating in a little fairy wonderland. It was so comfortable inside them we took off all jackets. The food was amazing and the service was as well. We had a dairy allergy in our party and they listened and compensated for it by making a special course. It was a little pricey so it makes regular dining a little difficult but it was a special occasion so we had no problem splurging. It was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing and gave us a bit of normalcy during our very restricted lifestyle.

Millwrights is my favorite restaurant and it never disappoints. I’m only giving 4 stars for the food because it tends to be a little too salty but still delicious and they get 5 stars for their creativity. I can’t say enough about the genuinely friendly staff and servers. I feel it’s too trite to say they are “fabulous” but they are.

Overall our experience was wonderful. The food was amazing! The only drawback was the salmon was somewhat overdone.
The service was very good in the beginning of the evening but there was a lag between the 2nd course and the entree.
Again, our overall experience was great with 2 small exceptions.

Birthday dinner

We dined in one of the private greenhouses. Not only were drinks, dinner and wines delicious but the service and overall experience was warm and entertaining.

Greenhouses are awesome!!! So much more than just a “green house”... really it was an incredible night out needed so badly.

Food was extraordinary, service was friendly and helpful, grounds were lovely, dining in a greenhouse for two people a bit bizarre and disorienting. Oh, well, three out of four isn’t bad. We’ll probably try again when the main dining room reopens.
