Outback Steakhouse - Penrith

Great ambience/ environment atmosphere; good food; great service & Approachable staff 👍👍👍👍👍

My wife and I celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary at the Outback Steakhouse in Penrith. The service was simply wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be returning!

Usually the service is really good when we go, but this time we had to look for the staff and get there attention when we wanted a drink, the bill. Not once did they approach us.

Took ages for someone to take our order, like a good 30-40 minutes. Food was average and honestly a little cold.

Had to wait long time for waiters. Seated people too close to us.

It was surprisingly a busy Saturday night (albeit Covid) and the staff handled the 'pressure' to accommodate and serve the diners with calm and professionalism.
We were running late and when I rang to inform the restaurant, there was no issue in changing our dinner reservation time 15mins later than the initial time. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Nice smiling faces.

Service not that great ask them for drinks we waited had to ask again cause nothing came no cutlery on table when main came out still didn’t got everything out had to ask again

Then with steak had to ask for a steak knife cause they got a butter knife
If it’s a good restaurant at the end y people need to keep asking for things
Food not cheap so I expect service is good not like this

Staff seemed to not be able to handle a group of 10 + people , they were confused with food order resulting in half of the group receiving cold meals, well done steaks cooked medium then having to be recooked but by then everyone else had finished meals... staff could distinguish one type of steak from another as no sticks with type or cooked type displayed on meals. Overall I wouldn't rate the meals or service based on this experience as its hard to enjoy cold meals.

we are regular diners and I was very disappointed, I ordered the prawn top fillet my wife ordered the grilled chicken, the prawn top fillet was ordered medium to well and it came out rare and sitting in a pool of blood and cooked rare, the waitress offered to put it back on the grill I said don't worry I would like to eat with my wife at the same time so she said they would take it off the bill, the grilled chicken was ordered without coleslaw and came out covered in it and without the seasoned veggies which is part of the dish seeing as though we eat regular I was very disappointed and ended up grabbing a burger on the way out from Maccas.

Great food and Service, ambience a little dark and a tad expensive overall. Delicious though and well worth it

Good food and decent prices. We always go here for ribs and chicken and the staff are always friendly

Our server Sam was amazing. Super friendly and made our experience a lot better.

Was disappointed in the kids meal. The macaroni and cheese wasn't nice. It was pretty much eating a bowl of pasta with no taste. The odd piece had what looked like a little parmasen cheese sprinkled on it.

The drinks, the entrees and the side dishes were great but the ribeye I ordered was terrible. Huge amounts of fat and the middle was raw. Normally great but this time disappointing.

Good service, great food, value for money.

The restaurant wasn't particularly busy as it was mid week, but the service wasn't great. They didn't clear our table. I ordered dessert and by the time it arrived our table was still not cleared, and she only cleared enough to make room for dessert.

Lovely welcome. Quick service and feedback. Service needs to check before grabbing unfinished plates. Steaks were perfect and accompaniments very well done. Menu could be better arranged so you know what your asking for on accompaniments eg my hubby didn’t realise the Mac n Cheese was charged separately - he thought it was part of the meal.

Every time we come to Outback Steakhouse it’s always pleasant.
I always book as it gets busy.
We were seated straight away, shortly after drink orders were taken along with entrees.
Food was delicious and juicy everything was delicious.
Didn’t wait long for the food.
Always a happy customer after leaving.
Definitely a 10 out of 10 from me.

Very slow to take orders however food was great and good value!

Food quality and menu excellent. Superb customer service. Great value for money. We have celebrated our wedding anniversary and my husband's 60th birthday at this venue. Have no hesitation in returning!

Service was terrible. My partners order was wrong. Waited nearly 2 hours altogether. Was not happy.

our table was not ready then we had been seated on a table that had be split which meant we had drinks we hadn't ordered turning up and missing food bill had to be worked out due to many items being charged to us but for another tables booking

Server took forever to come back and take order was trying to get her attention to get the bill but she would pretend to do something on the tablet while standing nearby then took off without noticing us we had to get manager to get bill for us

Amazing service with attention to details. However the food is abit salty and pricey

We had a booking for 4:15, got there a little earlier and they sat us straight away. The staff where friendly, the food was good. We ordered a lot more then we could eat.

Nice food. Kind people. Just head a small problem with table reservation promptly fixed.

Superb in every way. My partner had the surf'n'turf, whilst I had the Victoria's Filet. Both were cooked perfectly. My mash potatoes and fresh vegies were also ... perfect. My partner's sides ... perfect! The service provided was also .. perfect! Friendly, and covered every need. And to top the night off, the range of desserts were outstanding; very hard to choose just 1. But I had the Cinnamon Oblivian. O M G ! Sensational!!
Just a great night.
btw ... I'm having dinner next week at your Parklea restaurant with a group of my fellow referees. If it's as good at Parklea as it was at Penrith, we'll all walk away just as pleased and impressed. Many thanks

Great dining experience, service by all staff was incredible. Staff were attentive, prompt and pleasant. They went the extra mile to ensure our experience was more than we expected.
The food was brought out quickly and tasted great.
Highly recommend outback steakhouse Penrith.
