Orders were incorrect and also had an order rejected from kitchen with no notification until we asked where the food was after everyone else at the table had already revived and started to consume theirs. Service from management around this was poor, and they were very quick to say it’s not their fault it’s the system not even a decent apology. Won’t be going back anytime soon, was for my husbands birthday and just left a sour taste in our mouth, friends travelled from over an hour away for the dinner and to have an experience like that is far from impressive and enjoyable.

I know, Brits abroad having a whine… but bear with me. Table of 4 seated in a booth when a high top was requested and clearly available. Let that one go and did our best to clean down the sticky table we were seated at. Now I don’t know if this is a thing in Aus, but we had three different servers taking and running our orders, none of which checked back at any point in the evening to enquire if everything was ok and if we needed anything else. Orders were accurate, food was fresh, but as seems to be the norm across the world right now, main courses were served while appetizers were still being enjoyed! I do question the advice I was given ordering the ribeye medium rare, as the fat was not rendered down yet the meat seem dry and grainy. Would have picked this up with our server, but as mentioned earlier, no check back! We did manage to catch the eye of a fourth server who took a second drinks order, but at no point after that second order were we asked if we’d like dessert, more drinks or the check. The empties remained on the end of the table for best part of half an hour under the eyes of many many staff passing by. We eventually paid at the register and left with a sense that despite of always getting first class service at varoius outback restaurants in the US, this is the last time we’d visit in Aus. Is it just a culture thing, is it just post COVID, whatever it is, the experience didn’t warrant a 1* rating, but 2* feels a bit generous.

We got seated, ordered drinks and food at same time, got drinks and entree, entree came out first, we then waited an hour and still no food we had ordered, people who came in after us were eating and going by this point. Props to the female manager I think, she told us not to pay for the drinks and entree for the inconvenience.

We love Outback Steak House, consistently good food, great service and friendly fun atmosphere. We started coming here because the kids love it but now we all do and just a consistent enjoyable family experience every time.

Great location. Food was excellent and a good variety to choose from. Fast service, food was out within 15-20 minutes from ordering. A little expensive for portion size though Kids meals were decent size. Would recommend for families, mates, small work lunches/dinners.
