Outback Steakhouse - Campbelltown

The food and service was good and servings were back to what they used to be which was impressive.

Party of 8 celebrating a birthday.
Much better experience than last month.
Much improved staff and service.
Music way too loud still.

Service was slow to non existent.
The restaurant was fairly quiet yet we couldn't seem to find anyone working to help us and those that we could see kept walking past us.
Food came out at very different times (even when people had ordered the same food items) so our party ate at different times.
The food quality wasn't bad but our baked potatoes were very under-cooked and our chips were cold and overcooked. Our cheese chips were the same, overcooked cheese and chips.
The ribs were nice and tasty but again we received two servings while the other parties that had ordered them at our table had to wait for theirs when other tables around us were receiving theirs first when we had ordered first.
We had to ask a number of times for sauces/salad dressings we had ordered with our meals.
The new three cheese & steak dip was also very nice.
We visit this restaurant quite often but were very disappointed this time.

waited over an hour for food, food cold, dry, and wrong order, waited too long for drinks refill, only got one.

Our experience at the restaurant was disappointing this time.
Although past visits have been excellent and it was a place we loved to go to for dinner.
The service was really good, however, the food was not as good as previous times.
Appetisers were excellent, couldn't fault those, especially the tuna.
Steak mains were ok, one of the steaks way too rare for medium-rare which wasn't enjoyed and left.
One of the side dishes we chose to go alongside the steaks was the 'seasonal vegetables' which are usually a nice fish combo of broccoli, carrots, zucchini etc but instead we received corn cob pieces..that was all, one vegetable??
Salads were ok.
Desserts were very good, everyone loved them.
Overall, a bit of a let down especially for a pre-planned family birthday dinner, not to mention we had raved to family members of how good it was as we have dined there many times before.

Outback has always been a favourite of mine. Great experience. Awesome food. Love that the appletini is back. Menu has a great selection, something for everybody I think! I will definitely be back.

We hadn’t been there and after the service and long wait on our order . The staff in the kitchen weren’t in a hurry to fill all the orders . The wait staff couldn’t careless about the happiness of the people whom kept them in a job. Sorry but finally when the food arrived it was cold and we were past hungry .

It was legitimately the worst dinning experience I have ever had. From the steaks being as thick as minute steak and being so overdone that they were grey to a cockraoch crawling onto my plate. The manager still had the audacity to charge us a bill. Never going back there again and would definitely not recommend it!

Food was great as usual. Service was a little bit slow at times but overall happy with our experience.

Not sure why I made a reservation, as our party of 6 had to wait almost 30 mins past our reservation time before our table was ready.
Service was poor, meals came out incorrectly & some of the meals were only half eaten - steak was under cooked, chicken over cooked, sauces forgotten & sides were wrong.
Won’t be back again in a hurry.

To start with I ordered blooming onion and calamari with garlic bread calamari was not very fresh smelt very fishy then the croutons in my sons salad were really soggy then I ordered two steaks medium well and medium the medium well was medium rare and the steak that was supposed to be medium was rare and the pepper saucy that was ordered on the side of both steals had a funny taste which resulted in me my son and sister up being sick at three in the morning after eating at your restraint so no I would not recommend the Outback Steakhouse at Campbelltown to anyone

My sons 18th birthday dinner at Outback Steakhouse in Campbelltown on Friday 8th January 2021 @ 6pm.
The service was outstanding!! Our waiter who looked after me and my family (big group) was AWESOME!!
He took each individual family orders which wasn’t easy. The system couldn’t keep up with the influx of orders. He kept his composure when things didn’t go right, apologised for the mishaps that occurred during the night when it came to the meals. Always came out to check up on us and to see if everything was ok. We had a lot of kids so he was always refilling their sofa drinks as well.
This young mans patience, smile, composure and excellent customer service & hospitality made my sons 18th bday dinner a great night did not go unnoticed. My son and my daughters partner showed this young man how much we appreciated what an awesome job he did.

Only one of our entrees came out and one of our main meals sides came out with the entree. Then our mains were served without the other sides. At this stage we were still waiting on an entree. We waited 10 minutes for them to bring out the sides to go with our main meal while the meal went cold. St

Service was gppd, however the food was terrible. Asked for medium steak and by the time we got to the middle of it it was completly raw.
The only reason why we didnt say anything in store was because our daughter was getting upset so we left.

The food and service used to be great. The complimentary small bread loaf when the server came to take your order seems to now only be given if you ask for it (now 4 small rolls). The staff seem to be just going through the motions now, and no interest in checking if everything is ok with the meal. The main reason for going to a "steakhouse" were quite disappointing. Ordered medium rare, the steaks seem to be cooked too quickly and unevenly. Some parts were rare, some medium rare, some were a mix. One side was overcooked, making some parts of the steak chewy. We've had better, cheaper steak at other restaurants in the area.

We wen early so was quick and relatively quiet. Enjoyable dinner

Our waiter Dustin was amazing he had exceptional customer service. He is in training to be a manager and definitely deserves it ! Food was exactly like we had remembered from last time and service was even better than ever

Steaks were a little under cooked from what we requested. Service good to start with but a bit absent after that. Food was fast and as much as we line the food is slightly overpriced. Not a bad night though.

Food was good - though the steak seemed smaller than usual for the same size I normally order. Music in outdoor area way too loud - had to tell at each other to have a conversation.

Past experiences here have been very good but recently I've heard a lot of bad reviews about this place
Here's my recent experience.
Arrived at 730 did not receive our food till 850 only to be told while receiving our food that there was no mashed potato or vegetables which was replaced by some cold chips and and a baked potato and they also forgot my side gravy which took a while to come out resulting in a cold steak.

Very poor service and overall quality of experience was very disappointing. I have always looked forward to visiting anf the past few times have been equally awful. I would like to say there was a pleasant point but i definitely will not be returning ever again. Management need to step into clients shoes and actually experience the restaurant from start to finish.

Would not recommend this restaurant anymore. Used to be good however our last couple of visits have been very disappointing. Wait was long which we would have been ok with if the food was actually hot but just warm (entrees and mains). We had to ask for cutlery once the entrees arrived to which we only received enough for 3 and had to ask for 2 more forks. Had to wait about 20 minutes after asking for a drink refill. Overall, this experience was the last straw and we will not be going back to this restaurant

Good restaurant. Seemed a little short staffed & so waited a while for our meals.
Nice food.. lots of choices.

Our entree tailed to arrive. We waited almost an hour to served only for them to bring out the mains instead of the entree. We then consumed the meal (that was very nice) and left.
This was to be a special occasion that was ruined as we just become cranky waiting for the meal. I could not recommend this venue unfortunately.

Service was slow, orders were messed up, but as the wait was not great chose to just eat the wrong meals rather than wait

Whilst the service was excellent when I had called to amend our reservation last minute, everything else went downhill from there.

We waited 5 minutes in a line that was going no where and disorderly.
Table was not ready when they were ushering us to it so they brought us back to the entrance whilst they got it ready.

When they took our drinks order to start with table water - it never came the whole time we were there.

We had to ask them for the kids menu - which took so long we decided to get them to just read out the menu to make it faster.

All the fries were overcooked for the entree.

When we got our mains, the ribs were dry and overcooked, the kids burger and fish and chips looked like they were just nuked in the microwave and the salad on the side was small and distasteful.

Waitress only came over to check up on us towards the end of the meal which was pointless and we had to ask them to refill our sodas which ended up being a cup full of ice and small amount of soda.

Very disappointed with the lack of service, quality of food and the price we paid for a terrible experience. This place used to be really good, but after our experience this week, I will never dine there again!

Worst restaurant I've been to in a long time. Food was if very poor quality and half the things were missing on alot of the plates and when asked they just said, sorry we ran out which I understand but let us know and replace with something else instead of leaving it out. And for a Steakhouse, most of our steaks were burnt to the point we couldn't eat it.

My husband asked for medium/Rare but received well done steak, I asked for well done as I am pregnant and stated that to the host and revived a just under well done the salad was the nicest part of the meal

Portion sizes have gotten alot smaller
Had to find a waitress/waiter at times
Food missing from meals once we got them
Had better experiences there in the past!

We were so Disappointed with our experience at Campbelltown Outback Steakhouse.
2 adults & 4 children- all meal came out bar one. My husband had finished his whole plate before mine had even arrived at the table.
Menus felt greasy & the waiter was not attentive at all.

The service and food was exceptional! We live coming here, everyone is friendly and goes above and beyond for you. The food is always beautiful, it’s great value and everything is always immaculately clean. I would definitely recommend Outback Steakhouse Campbelltown!

We love you outback! Sooooo good when it's not busy! Finally tried the contact less ordering. Piece of cake!
