Server was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were relaxed and only had to walk 3 blocks to get to our concert. Overall very charming place and convenient location to meet our guests.

Food was great with a few not exciting dishes such as the raddichio salad. Attentive service, beautiful and spacious interior.

This was the fourth time we dined at ousia unfortunately we definitely did not enjoy our meal this time. We learned that we should not listen to the waiters suggestions when ordering. We really did not enjoy the escarole and asparagus or the Kebab special.
We ordered the 3 dips that were very good , but were charged individually .The vegetables that we ordered along with the dips were very good as well and a good good value .
The service was very slow. Then we had to wait to adjust our bill . We had to ask three people after we were over charged .

Incredibly disappointed with this restaurant given the hype it received. From the beginning, it seemed 'understaffed.' There was a misunderstanding regarding what was ordered, as well as one dish came undercooked, and my food cold cold cold. No one even cared other than finally, the manager came over to offer us an 'extra drink' as opposed to other compensation. The bill was not cheap given what we consumed and the less than happy experience dining there. It would not be my first choice when being asked about gong there another time.

We live nearby, and Ousia has turned into our Go To neighborhood place. Never thought I'd like a restaurant close to 12th Avenue, but the cuisine is so inventive and so good, and the wine list is just so darned interesting, that my wife and I have gotten hooked on the place. Hope it sticks around.

Waiter was fantastic. Unfortunately his shift ended before I was done and the waitress that took over was MIA. Had to catch her eye from across the room to get another glass of wine and—after several minutes of waiting for the bill—had to wave to flag her down.

The decor is surely NY trendy and chic. Love the whole vibe BUT it is the food and wind that will put you into the stars! You will want to walk around the restaurant and people watch, decor review and chat with others as the food is the highlight of the experience! Do not hesitate to try the appetizers and finish with dessert! They are worth it!

Outstanding service and excellent food. Everything was great from the drinks to the appetizers to meals. Would definitely go again and highly recommend. It is beautiful inside but casual and comfortable and the noise level for a full house is low in my opinion. Not sure I have ever given out 5 stars and across the board to boot. Well done.

All of our food was excellent. Moderately priced wine was excellent. Server was knowledgeable and helpful. The only drawback was too long a wait for our entrees, which would have been ok except we had a theater to get to. This was partly our fault- we ordered appetizers when we sat down, and ordered the entrees later. I suspect if we had ordered everything together it would have flowed more normally and we would have had plenty of time.

Great space but operations need to be improved. Food took a while to get. Nothing inspiring about the preparation. I get the impression the restaurant is still figuring out how to be large but professional at the same time.

Nice space right off of West Side Hwy. Asked our waitress for a white wine similar to a Pinot Grigio. She recommend one and her other option was a Chardonnay. Uhm.....those are TWO DIFFERENT types of wines. I asked her to ask the bartender 2 times. She came back with the wine she recommended and the one the bartender reco'd - surprise! The winner was the one the bartender reco'd. Why not just ask the person who knows instead of guessing. It was a delicious white, light, and crisp wine. Shisito peppers were okay. Mushroom flatrbread very tasty! Boyfriend had the scallops; only 3 pieces for a main course. They tasted good, he was disappointed with the portion size for $26.

Perfect, attentive and smart service. Appealing design, surprisingly roomy for Manhattan, with a varied and tempting menu. Best taramasalota ever. Every dish was delectable.

The edamame and tzaziki dips are great. Lamb chops, meatball dish and gyro sliders were great. Very disappointed with the Greek salad which had soggy julienned green and red peppers. It did not have that fresh Green and Red pop from the cucumbers and tomatoes and very minimal amount of feta cheese. I have been here 4 times but I do not plan on going back anytime soon even though the service was great. I will recommend to friends because there i a lack of good places around this area.

Good restaurant. Modern, open decor, nice vibe. Interesting menu with generous portions. Shishito peppers a real treat. Brussels great too. Tuna special well cooked. Plus, excellent, unusual sesame breadsticks.

Ousia is a wonderful restaurant that offers Mediterranean dishes. The server was lovely and attentive. My friend and I enjoyed appetizers with hummus, Mediterranean hummus with garlic and tzatziki dip with warm triangle pita. I loved the grilled chicken with vegetables on skewers. My friend also enjoyed the soup. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm with beautiful pieces of art work that remind you of Greece. The layout of the restaurant is open and spacious. This place is so easy to get to especially those traveling off the West Side Highway. The parking lot is a few steps from this eatery. If you come to NYC, make a trip to Ousia!

Met old friends here and everything was absolutely perfect - the wine, every dish, fabulous dessert. Our server could not have been more attentive or personable. The banquette seating was excellent for catching up. We will be back with more friends soon.

Always good food and great price point. Very friendly service. Love the bartenders and their cocktail program. If it wasn't for Ousia, we would have no choice but to walk to 9th Ave and the dining options there are so hit or miss.

Been there many times! Even had some large group dinners ! The staff and food are really great! The one complaint I have is that the wine prices are so inflated! I love Greek wine and get the one I love 17-19 a bottle. On the wine list it is 60 , that is a big markup (I think) just my thought

The food and the atmosphere is on par with many other Mediterranean restaurants in mid-town. I found the service to be exceptional. I was able to make reservations for 6PM on Saturday night dinner. This is only possible because its location - being almost by the west side highway. But given there is no shortage of Ubers in NY it's well worth the trip.

Great restaurant, food is delish. Drinks are a little pricey and a Greek only wine menu which can be tough. The servers are well trained on wines and can suggest something comparable to what you are used to drinking

The team at Ousia continues to impress, this was my third visit for dinner and there will for sure be a forth. I had made a note that it was girlfriends birthday on our reservation and upon giving our name the host plus the floor manager came to wish her a happy birthday making us feel very welcome and the night that much more special. This is a restaurant that does all the little things right, turning the meal into a great experience. The food was great as always and I have to recommend the sangria they just added to the menu, it was exactly what the doctor ordered. We will be back again. Thanks Ousia!

This restaurant is consistently excellent. There is a great selection of food, and at reasonable prices. Ingredients are fresh and prepared very well. When friends come in from out of town they always ask to go! Easy to have a conservation at the table and the service couldn’t be better. Don’t hesitate go!
