With attention to every detail, the chef and kitchen team has managed to perfect the preparation of food; from supply chain to the way it sits, and the plate it sits on. The emphasis is on quality of produce at good prices; the result is a wonderfully simple and affordable fusion of old and new Greek-Cypriot mezedakia / tapas style dishes in the heart of the west end.
The food was pretty good, the cougette and feta friters were missing seasoning tho. But all in general was amazing
Super friendly and helpful staff. A most excellently made gin martini to get us off to a flying start! We had a truly delicious bottle of St. Elias Assyrtiko 2018 to go with our meal. Not massive quantities of food but good enough. Could have done with more salt and more garlic in the Tzadziki, but otherwise jolly nice all round. We shall go again.
Delicious simple and fresh small plates for sharing. Attentive staff and relaxing environment
Fantastic. Great service, good food, varied wine list, good value
The place is nice and in a good location. The service was good too, the waiters were nice and helpful.
The food: we ordered some fried calamari and fried courgettes and they were very oily. Overall, the food was very bland, lacking salt and lot of taste.
Delicious food. Bit noisy but wonderful service. We will be back
must try the octopus, but everything was delicious!
A wonderful restaurant. The service was exceptional and incredibly attentive. The food was delicious and good value. It you want a treat without breaking the bank this place is for you! 1 star knocked down as no gluten free bread!
had a table for two outside. excellent service, tasty food, reasonably priced - we will return soon
This was such a welcome retreat from the horrendous weather! Really friendly and prompt service, they explained their mezze style menu and specials and the food just kept coming. Four of us chose mainly vegetarian dishes and they were all delicious. Two bottles of wine, four well fed people and three puddings cost us £40 each. A bargain for Fitzrovia and lovely food.
Decent food, nice people.
Really friendly, kind staff that was accompanied by tasty food. I would definitely recommend Ousia to anyone that likes authentic Greek food.
Food OK but nothing special.
Small selection of wines: mostly average and overpriced
Wonderful as always! Great food and hospitality. Couldn't recommend it more!
We enjoyed the variety of dishes and the friendly and efficient service.
Not a fan of the music, loud Greek pop, so would not recommend if that's not your style. Food was great though.
Authentic Greek food with excellent service. Will return.
Where to start - order was confused, and had to re-order things that were left off; grilled prawns were not fresh and were massively overcooked (thankfully there were ONLY two pieces per serving); pita was clearly store-bought; souvlaki was dry and tasteless.
Lovely meal at Ousia as always ! Food is beautiful so fresh.
Authentic Greek food as it’s finest
While on vacation, we found them on Open Table checking under “food near me”. Upon arriving we found a lovely family owned business with fantastic food. The wait staff was attentive and kind. Highly recommended! You’ll be glad you did!
Staff were friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend.
Great Greek food! And wine! Loads of small tapas like plates to share.
Excellent service and good authentic Greek food. A little on the pricey side, but not too bad for the location. Highly recommended if you are after a taste of real Greek cuisine.
Lovely meal, lovely staff. Would definitely go there again.
Amazing food and amazing service. All reasonably priced and value for money. Would definitely recommend!!
Ousia was lovely from start to finish. The staff were really friendly and helpful and e food and atmosphere were great. We will definitely be back!
Delicious food, very friendly and professional staff. One of the best restaurants we’ve ever eaten in and fantastic value for money. Advisable to book in advance.
Excellent food and service.
Highly suggested for a group night out
Our first visit was superb. The quality and quantity of the food was excellent and the service was first class
Maybe our favourite restaurant in London.
Our first visit but it won't our last. Great cooked to order fresh and interesting food. The small plates allowed us to try lots of different flavours. Loved everything that we had and plenty of options for future visits. Really good value and portion sizes for sharing.
Always good food here, we've been several times now.
I really loved their house wine. Why we do not have the column for it?
Food is good, freshly prepared and served promptly. There was the time that we could not get much attentions for service because they were so busy dealing with other customers and were getting noisy.
But, I do recommend to have an early dinner there any time.
If you want good value nice food served in tapas style then go. The service is friendly and efficient. Not high end dining but an excellent evening out with friends.
Friendly staff and didn't have to wait long for food to arrive. I thought the food was good fr the price we paid .
Perfect food, intimate atmosphere and very central, combined with a reasonable price.
Great food and atmosphere!
Sadly it was pretty much empty on a Wednesday evening. The small plates are attractive though not outstanding. Reasonably priced and interesting wine list. Andreas was having supper there but not looking a picture of happiness.
Excellent food as always. Friendly staff, perfect for any occasion.
Lovely little place, recommended to me by a colleague but so happy to find it. Small and quiet although we were i fear a bit rowdy. Relaxing meal and no pressure to clesr or move us. Great location
