Chef Eugenia Hobson and her team prepare authentic Greek dishes served attentively in a breezy Aegean-inspired atmosphere. Our signature dishes include the grilled octopus, the kolokithokeftedes (stuffed zucchini fritters), the lavraki whole fish (branzino) filleted table side, and the arni giouvetsi (lamb shank with orzo). Our selection of nine desserts are all made fresh daily in-house and feature Greek classics such as the baklava and the galaktoboureko. Our wine list is meticulously curated on a seasonal basis by son Philip Hobson selecting from Greece's top vineyards who produce indigenous varietals such as Assyrtiko & Xinomavro, and western grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon & Sauvignon Blanc. Our beer selection focuses on bottled Greek brews while our bar is fully stocked to serve both classic cocktails and signature drinks inspired by the best bars in Athens. The food was delicious, and the service was attentive; I especially liked the wine, the spread, and the pleasant atmosphere. My only complaint was that the AC was too cold for me, but this is relatively more personal. So, it may not apply to you.

Can't go wrong with Our Mom Eugenia's! We're regulars, but hadn't munched here since last June, so we shed multiple tears over the removal of our dearly beloved COD BITES from the appetizer menu. We were rooting for them to get promoted to ENTREE SIZE! Oh, Well! Generous booze pours in our cocktails removed the sting, and we found plenty more DEE-Lish-Uss goodies with which to pack our tummies. Server CALEB D. was extra stellar, paced the food well, kept us entertained, and made my heart LEAP when he answered "Why YES, We do have SKINOS MASTIHA!" 3 Cheers All Around for Mom Eugenia.

In spite of being given a hard time to even get a table even though there were plenty of tables open, I wanted to like this place. The only thing good was our kind waiter and my lemon drop. Calamari, Salmon, Chicken…all basic or just below. Would not recommend. Super bland food.

We enjoyed the beautiful Sept weather eating outside, anice little nook across the street from the restaurant. Their Moussaka is to die for, unbelievable and ahuge portion. My friends had the Bronzino whch also was ahuge portion so they split it. The restaurant halved it on 2 separate plates with all the accoutrements, nice touch! I had a lovely red blend cab, merlot and ? which was sublime. We did not have room for dessert. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem.

Soup of the day ( lentil) was delicious and I’d highly recommend, the halibut was also tasty and would recommend that as well. We were advised that the seafood is some of the best at our mom Eugenia.

The service was excellent. Seated right on time, and waiter was very attentive. I had the bronzini special and my wife had the octopus; bronzini was very good, but the octopus was excellent. Had a delightful chat with Constantine who was overseeing matters for his son. Excellent dining experience.

Food was 10/10, we had the feta crusted with sesame seeds and watermelon salad and it was amazing. All the other dishes we ordered were equally delicious. We had booked an outdoor table. At the very end of our meal, it began to rain. We were asked to move inside the restaurant by the staff. We went to the hostess station while carrying various items from table. We were a two person party and there were multiple two top tables open. A very nice hostess told us we could sit at a two top table to finish our meal. Alejandro (possibly the manager) told us we could not sit at any of the open two tops tables because they were saved to reservations (reservations were not for twenty to thirty minutes and have a fifteen minute grace period) and we would have had to sit on bar stools at a bookshelf in the back of the restaurant in the line of traffic to and from the kitchen. Upon hearing that the hostess said we could have a table, he made it very clear that he was unhappy but let us sit at a two top to finish our meal. When we were leaving the restaurant well before their next reservation time, Alejandro was standing at the hostess stand and did not acknowledge us or apologize for his behavior. Our waitress was great as were all the other staff. If the manager decides to move all outdoor guests inside, he should be prepared to offer all guests tables (other outdoor guests who moved inside were given tables). The way he spoke to us was rude and he was clearly upset with our request and we were very clear we were almost finished with our meal. Would I eat here again? Maybe.

Fantastic service and a perfect wine recommendation from our waitress. We ate outside, and the weather cooperated, it was the perfect temperature. The food was great, but 3 entrees totaled $126 and 2 bottles of wine were $128. There were five of us, and we mixed the mezes and entrees, and had coffee afterwards. The bill was over $400 but the food was fabulous, and the wine was perfect. It’s just that it was pretty expensive. We all thought the food was fantastic.

This was the first time eating at this establishment in the Mosaic District. As soon as we arrived we realized it was very loud. After we were seated we asked if at any point in the evening we could move outside, but the tables were booked. Our drinks arrived on time and the appetizers were on point. Our meal was very good and the waiter attentive. Aside from the noise, I looked at the wine list to order a glass of red wine, however the “by the glass” red wines were limited and expensive, so I ordered a glass of rose, which was more reasonably priced. I would definitely go back for another meal, but maybe not on a Saturday night when it’s probably the most lively. There doesn’t seem to be anything in the restaurant to absorb the sound, so it’s like being in a cafeteria. Also, it would be nice if they offered a house wine or a $12 a glass red wine. $16 a glass is a bit much for Greek wine and the selection for bottles was also very limited.

Great dinner here. We enjoyed the atmosphere which does remind you of being on one of the Greek islands, the service & the food. My husband & I shared the whole branzino which they deboned for us. It was the best branzino I've ever had. We also shared one of the zucchini appetizers. This wasn't our first time here & we'll definitely come back.

Food was excellent, but the service was very scattered and rushed. The waiter did not ask if we wanted drinks - just asked what kind of water we wanted and rushed off. When the waiter came back to take our order, we were never told that there were specials. After we ordered, they simultaneously brought out the appetizers and one entree - before even bringing the bread. We asked them to take the entree back so they could serve all the entrees together, which they did. But 5 minutes later they brought out all three entrees while we were still trying to enjoy the appetizers. All in all, they had us in and out in about 40 minutes. Not the relaxing Sunday meal we had in mind.

I love the food at this restaurant, but the service wasn’t great. We waited a long time to be served and to receive water and the server really didn’t check on us during the meal. If o didn’t understand what it’s like to rely on tips for a living, I wouldn’t have left a tip.
