Our Mom Eugenia

Third visit and we decided to have Thanksgiving there. Food and service were excellent as always! We hope to return soon, though we live in Frederick, MD. It’s worth the trip!

I am from Greece and this is easily the best and most authentic Greek restaurant I have been to in the DC area and one of the top 3 I have been to anywhere in the States (and I used to live in NYC, where there are tons of Greek restaurants). The ambiance is great, the service is super friendly, and the food is outstanding.

This family run restaurant is very special. The food is delicious, portions sizable , and setting very intimate. Both Alex and Phil, brothers who man operations, make sure service is first-rate. We drive from Georgetown , 45 minutes, and it is so worth it. A real keeper!

Such a great restaurant! Feels like you're eating in Greece!

Good sized portions, but main course was cold (shouldn't have been). Wait staff was clearly trying to turn over our table as quickly as possible and hurried us throughout the meal. The dolmades and beet salad were excellent though.

Our first time there. It was worth going. The food was very good, the service excellent and the price reasonable. Mat was our server. He was new to the restaurant, but did a great job. We will be coming back.

Sunday lunch. We tried multiple appetizers this time. Hot. Cold. Cheese. Meat. Vegetables. All superbly made and delicious. Our waiter offers a couple of tastings of wine to help us choose a few glasses to enjoy over lunch. Very relaxing. A great place to enjoy a leisurely lunch with family on the weekend.

Always great service, superb food, a wonderful place to enjoy an evening. Everyone has an enjoyable time at OME, the noise level indicates happy sociable diners having a good time eating wonderful food looked over by an attentive staff. OME is my FAVORITE place!

An excellent menu of traditional Greek specialties. I particularly enjoyed my chicken skewer appetizer-the perfect size for lunch, along with a traditional Greek salad. The latter is plenty for two. Have not had anything that was less than wonderful.

The Our Mom Eugenia was recommended by a family member and totally met our expectations. The service and dishes were excellent. My wife had the swordfish and I the lamb jobs. They were cooked perfectly. For desert we had baclava and rice pudding. Both were good, but the rice pudding was the best.

Terrific Greek food and great people. A more informal -- and less beuatiful -- setting than the comparable Nostos in Tyson's Corner and not a neighborhood bargain restaurant in pricing. The service is excellent and friendly.

This was our first time at Our Mom Eugenia's. The staff was exceptional, from the host to the wait staff. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He was there when needed, but not 'hovering'. All of the food was well seasoned and prepared. The traditional Greek salad (no lettuce) was great as was the bronzino, expertly de-boned tableside. The lamb chops were also excellent. In-house wine list is just ok, but they allow corkage, but at $25/btl it is a little high for the area.

Without hesitation, we would and do recommend Our Mom Eugenia to friends and anyone visiting the Great Falls & surrounding area. The food is delicious, the wine list superb, and the warm, attentive, friendly wait staff add to the experience. This is the best restaurant that has come to the area!!!

We loved the eggplant dip, mixed grill, lamb chops and potatoes. Everything was excellent (including service), except the baklava. Phyllo is supposed to be crisp, but it wasn’t. Definitely will be back - this was my second visit.

OME is a favorite restaurant for my family. The food, the wine list, and the service are all outstanding. The Greek meatballs and flaming cheese are two of my favorites, and the lamb never disappoints. If Greek cuisine had room for chocolate, I’d probably love their desserts too! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Food was delicious, service was great! Prices were reasonable. I went on a Tuesday. It was not loud. we went for my friend’s birthday. She really enjoyed it and will schedule her son’s birthday there in a couple of weeks.

Very friendly staff and the food was the best Greek food we have had since 2017 when we were on vacation in Greece.

The food was awesome and the service was so thoughtful and friendly. We had a great book club get together.

Brought a couple friends with me this time, both of them "foodies" and they raved about the place and plan to become regulars.

Although i had commented that we were celebrating a birthday when I made the reservation, no recognition of the birthday person was given. Two other tables received a candle topped treat for their special occasion. Needless to say, we and the birthday girl were disappointed.

Good dinner with friends. My husband & I shared the branzino & it was delicious. Topped the meal off with galaktoboureko (Greek custard pie). It was warmed up so was creamy & yummy. It was a great place to meet some of our friends. It was a bit noisy.

This place never disappoints. Food is authentic Greek. Service is warm, friendly and impeccable. Clean, quaint neighborhood place - with high quality Greek food and no pretenses.

If you want the real deal, this place is it. Literally everything is made from scratch with a flair of home made authenticity. Bring you AMEX cause it isn’t cheap, but well worth it for any occasion.
