We were a group of six dining at Otto last night. Despite having a reservation for 7:45 PM, we were only seated around 8:30 PM, and our meals were not served until approximately 9:45 PM. Four of the dishes arrived first, and the remaining two were only served when the rest of us had nearly finished eating. The pasta was overcooked, the sauces were watery and lacked flavor, and the plates were filled with excess liquid. The iced tea tasted like water, and the Coke was overly sweet. We were not the only table visibly disappointed with the experience. At one point, a guest from another table requested to speak with the manager. Following their conversation, we witnessed the manager forcefully slam open the kitchen door—right next to our table—which made the atmosphere even more uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. We would strongly advise others to avoid this restaurant.

Special menu for the triathlon was a little limited for a vegetarian like me. However the mushroom sacheta was amazing. Exactly the pre race dinner I was looking for:)

We eat here every year when we visit Maine. Our server (Luke) was just great. He was informative, helpful, and friendly. Our food was good. We especially liked the crab dip. It was a huge portion for just two. My stuffed shrimp was good, but a bit too heavy on the crackers in the stuffing. The chocolate mousse for dessert was very good. It would have been better if the white chocolate shell had been dark chocolate.

A real gem hidden in plain sight, downtown Augusta, ME. Food was outstanding, impeccable service, unique decor and romantic ambiance, this upscale restaurant is highly recommended!

Food was just awful. I mean, just awful. Nothing good to say about any of it. My beer was warm. The Appetizer was barely edible. The mains were terrible. A Maine restaurant, very near the ocean, in the State Capitol, and they had the nerve to serve me frozen seafood. Both our plates were full of water. The inside is nice, but the smell was not pleasant. Our server was fine. No issues there. Saw many people sending food back. Portions were very small. It’s rating on here is insane. I gave it 2 stars only because I didn’t get sick from eating it.

Welcoming and engaging staff, delicious food, plentiful but not excessive portions excellent service. No complaints; I look forward to returning when I the area.

Otto's is a Gem! The food is unique and delicious. Our party of four each had a different meal, and each one was superb. It's a small kitchen, so there was a slight wait. Not a problem at all. I highly recommend the Prickly Pear Martini. As a birthday treat, chocolate-covered strawberries for us all. The prices were on the higher end, starting at $30, but Otto's definitely delivered! We will be back. Do not recommend for children. The menu is geared for adults.

We've had some special occasion dinners at Ottos and the food is always beyond our expectations. Thank goodness for takeout containers because it allows me to order more than I can eat in 1 sitting and enjoy the food all over again. Our waiter Will was very gracious, nice with a quiet humor that was very much appreciated. The hostess was also super friendly and helpful. I love dining here!

We went there for our anniversary diner. The dishes we had were delicious The ambiance was warm and friendly in an elegant way What was really OUTSTANDING was the service. We can not say enough good things about our waiter Moe. He was gracious, smiley and very accomidating If I were in the restaurant business I would steal him, he was that rare type of person that significantly improved our dining experience And when I discovered how young he is I was even more impressed . Thank you Otto for a wonderful dining experience
