I usually eat at Lebanese restaurants and the bread at this restaurant was hard and not tasty. I had the vegetarian Mussaka and I did not like it at all. Too greasy and spicy. Fellow diners who had the lamb chops and the salmon were pleased with their meals.

                                                                                                    After theatre we sampled three hot mezes at a sidewalk table (roasted cauliflower, and yogurt dressing; savory stuffed eggplant; and butter shrimp in chili and turkey spices), each of them excellent, with a delightful Turkish Sauvignon Blanc. Come back for dinner another time.

                                                                                                    We have previously dined at Ottoman Taverna in the past, and the food was amazingly good. However, we recently went back expecting the same high quality and were very disappointed. All of the various meats did not taste right and they were tough and undercooked. There was also a large event being hosted there which generated a lot of noise and probably impacted the quality of our experience. However the staff members were really friendly, which was the one good thing about this particular visit.

A few glitches happened, including their card reader breaking. I also found their additional, mandatory 20% fee on every dish confusing, borderline misleading? The food was great though.
