   Otto PINT is one of my favorite little hangouts in Steamboat. Staff is always attentive, and the size of the place is just right (if it was bigger, it might get too noisy). Outdoor patio dining is enjoyable -- lots of bikes zipping by, people strolling, not too many cars. Love the pizzas and salads -- and the arancini rice balls are divine.

    The food was great, but the service was terrible. We were seated for over 30 minutes without anyone acknowledging us before we went up to the hostess and asked if we had a waiter. The waiter finally came to the table and took our drink order and we then waited 45 minutes to get our drinks. He forgot our appetizers and when we told him he just said sorry? Making no intention to rectify any of our issues. We finally got our food and it was delicious however we were still eating the and the clock hit 9pm and they started stacking up the chairs to close up for the night. Based on our 7pm reservation time we probably would’ve been done by 9, but not when it takes 2 hours to get your drinks and food!

    The pros were our server Todd and the drinks. The cons were 2 of our 4 meals were not very good and the men's restroom was absolutely disgusting.

    Unfortunately, we were unable to dine due to staffing issues which completely had the restaurant in the weeds. The staff that greeted us upon arrival were obviously distressed and our 10 minute early arrival was a tipping point. We asked for bar service while they had a chance to clean tables and were denied. The worst thing was we were told “It’s not our fault you are early and we only have two cooks”. We decided to dine elsewhere due to the blatant rudeness and obvious stress that the staff were experiencing. While this is understandable that issues arrive, the tone and volume at which were were dealt with was disappointing and unacceptable. We would have happily waited with a cocktail until they were able to catch up on service. However it seemed that our best option was to not put any additional strain on an already stressed staff.

    Food was good. Service was just OK -- kept having to flag her down (vs her check on us) and they didn't tell us they were out of several things until we went to order which I found really annoying. That should have either been told to us when we sat down, or they have a little card they hand out with the menu saying "we're out of the following".

    They made me an awesome custom pizza. They had a proscuito fig spread arugula and boursin cheese sandwich on the menu and I asked if they could make it in a pizza which they did graciously. It was amazing!!

    We were asked to go to the table ourselves - hostess said she didn’t want to walk over. We sat at our table for more than 15 minutes without anyone coming to our table. We flagged someone down and finally got water and service. We ordered a bottle of wine and were not told it was wine on tap and given a carafe that had an effervescent. The wine was marked up 6x instead of the normal 2-3x. The entree I wanted was not available. The desserts sat on a counter for more than 10 minutes while our server hung out behind the bar. Eventually someone else dropped them off. A kitchen staff gratuity is added to the bill and not disclosed prior. Seated next to a glass garage door, the restaurant was so cold we had to eat with our jackets on. The food was good but not worth going back for the awful service.

    Everything was ok. They made us put a deposit down to hold our reservation. When we arrived there was maybe 1/3 of the seating available. The waiter was very short until right before he presented a bill. Sorry, but your tip is earned at the beginning not the last 3 minutes. The big question, should I go back? Everything was just OK and for a family of 5 @ $200 (3 glasses of wine)….no, it is a bit of an insult to deposit, service did us a favor to serve us and although the food offerings sounder great, the expectations did not show on the plate.

    The waiter was nice, responsive, and timely, the salads were good, our entrees were pretty good, pizza was a bit bland. The noise level was high and we were placed next to the ice machine and waiter station which reduced our dining experience. Overall, the value was about right for a resort town.

    We are really glad that we decided to try Otto Pint last night. Enjoyed a couple of draft beers, large salad and pizza. How did we not know about Otto Pint Pizza? Love the cracker thin crust! We'll be back for sure. Thanks Open Table for promoting Otto Pint and giving us that nudge to try something new in our home town.

    Thai pork belly is awesome! Mussels were really good also. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. Cameron, our server, was outstanding! One of the best servers we've had in Steamboat!

    Otto Pint is the hidden gem in Steamboat!! Mussels fantastic as always. Tried the pizzas (chicken pesto and big Christmas) and they were delicious. I hope the pumpkin spice latte nitro beer stays on the menu through the holidays. My husband enjoyed the Winter Old Fashioned. Service was attentive and helpful as usual. (Thank you, Ford, for even returning after your shift to say “Hello!” since we asked about you.) Going to bring my bookclub gals over! (Consider yourselves warned!)

    I don’t have a good thing to say about our dining experience at Otto PINT. We were seated at a sticky table. Waited for 15 mins to be greeted by a rude bartender that was too distracted to be bothered waiting on us. 7 staff members all checking their phones, eating and drinking and chatting amongst themselves. A small salad sized bowl of dry pappardelle had a smear of sausage bolognese sauce was $25. Shrimp & grits was basically watery soup texture with chopped up tomatoes and 4 shrimp. 2 side salads of which neither were the same quantity. One Arnold Palmer. One glass of water. $87 total with tip. God awful & never again. Btw, isn’t it an osha rule that staff not eat and wipe their mouths with their hands and then serve people?

    First, our waiter was doing double duty as host - not a great structure in a busy restaurant. Every table he was assigned to was impacted with very, very slow service and no follow-up after order placed. We waited nearly 20 minutes after being seated to place our order, and that only happened because we walked over and reminded him we were HIS table. Second, this place needs to decide what it IS. If you're going to serve a Bolognese, it needs to actually be a Bolognese. Instead, it tasted like a tinny marinara with a few bits of meat thrown in. IT WAS NOT GOOD. No bread served with the pasta dishes, no parmesan offered with the pasta dishes. If you're looking to get wasted and chase it with a pizza, by all means this is your place. If your looking for good food, dine elsewhere.
