Our first experience was great, I would of rated higher, if our food was hot when we received it. Carne asda taco was luke warm and the Pollo taco was close to being cold. Still recommends, but we hope the food temperature is better if we decide to come again.

I took my wife here for our anniversary. Ya know cuz after 22 years I know my gal loves tacos. She liked hers. Didn’t love em. They need some salt. She had the avocado tacos. I tasted them and they were delish. I had the pozole. It was amazing. We also had the smoked guac. It was the bomb. Eat here. You’ll love it.

Service was slow. I ordered the jackfruit tacos and was given al pastor tacos.

Great spot!!! Delicious food and great drinks. Nice outdoor setup with heaters too.

The food was DELICIOUS. Best salsa I've had in a while, my sangria was delicious, and our entrees were perfect (yuca fries!!). We did sit outside due to current COVID guidance, and it being our first time, I was surprised that there was no heating out of doors. Would have made the experience perfect if there had been some heat. Our service was also friendly, but we had to flag our server down to place our appetizer and entree orders. With the right heating, would be 5 stars, and we will definitely be back for takeout as well.

Was disappointed that the food wasn’t good but the ambiance was cute. Was expecting more out of the food. Expensive but very average

We were extremely happy to find this new restaurant. After moving from Texas, and trying many different Mexican/Latin American type restaurantsin Raleigh, we were disappointed up until now.
We absolutely will be returning to Otra Vez.

Had a great date night here last night! Loved the atmosphere although it’s just a bit bright and the decor was lively! We sat at the bar and had amazing service and tried a couple of their specialty cocktails which were fantastic! We shared the dip trio and loved all three. Carne asada and pork street tacos were spot on. We are so happy to have this great new dining option in our neighborhood!

Great drinks, atmosphere, food, and service! Much better than the pub that was here before. Excited to visit again and see this place thrive after covid!

We ate outside and the only tables they had were right in the parking lot, car lights and lots of noise, would not eat out there again. You get tacos (which were good), but they come with nothing else; chips and salsa are extra!! Will not be back soon

The drinks here are fantastic! Balanced and creative. Great food too.

The drinks are over priced, and the tacos were average. Very nice and attentive staff. I will wait a little while and try them again

Was surprised to see a new restaurant pop up on my Open Table app. Menu intrigued us to book a table. Staff and food did not disappoint. Food was super fresh, service was friendly and staff practiced covid safe practices.

The food was fantastic. My boyfriend could not stop talking about how well everything was prepared. The staff was very friendly and polite. We will be visiting soon again. It is definitely a place where I feel comfortable trying anything on the menu.

Came here for our anniversary dinner and we were greeted with flowers and a greeting card at our table. oh and a fire pit since we were outside! great service, great staff, and great food. They also play great Latin music as well. Highly recommend!!

Love the chic decor-- beautiful interior, very cozy and spaced out well. Looks like the patio will be nice as well.

We sat at the bar and received excellent service-- the staff is knowledgeable and passionate. All the food was fantastic, from the Mexican cornbread and smoked chiles guacamole as starters to the tasty jackfruit barbacoa tacos to the espresso rubbed steak with chimichurri. Also, they have a very creative drink menu and a nice wine list.

Raleigh needs more higher end Mexican restaurants such as this, IMO.

Amazing out of this world food - I was blown away by the cocktails quality and the unique flavors of every dish. They even brought guac back to life from the mundane usual style. Only complaint would be the service was a bit slow - but to be fair we took our sweet time ordering so it may have been us.
