OTORO Robata Grill & Sushi - The Mirage

The food was great and the gentlemen that kept our water glasses full were always on the spot but our server rarely checked on us leaving us wanting for more and there seemed to be no floor manager checking in with the tables to see if everything was going well. I hate to leave hungry, especially if the food is great, but that was the the result for us.

Tried OTORO for the first time and we were so pleased with our experience! The restaurant is beautiful and everything was top notch from the service to the food. We ordered a la carte including some delicious steak skewers and shrimp from the charcoal grill. Highly recommend this place!

I ordered a few dishes from the Grill menu along with the Truffle Fried Rice. Each dish was absolutely delectable. The Pork Belly was the perfect combination of crispy & tender, the Baby Lamb Chop was tender & tasty, & the Chilean Sea Bass was perfection on a skewer! Plus! .... the non-typical rice was surprisingly great & paired very well with the meat dishes. The ambiance was classy & the service on point. Even though the prices were high, I consider it a good value because the delicious food portions were ample.

Pauline was a wonderful server - very attentive and honest with her suggestions. The food was delicious and we had a great time.

Brought out of town guests before a show. Great atmosphere, they loved it. Food was fresh and delicious. Staff was so cordial and informative. We would definitely revisit.

The Robata items were tasty. The sushi was maybe “average”...

Octopus was delicious, as was the asparagus. Both types of edamame were good.

The “specialty rolls” were “so-so”...Definitely nothing special. The rainbow roll did not have a large assortment of fish; the salmon roll didn’t taste great.

We certainly won’t be rushing back. They weren’t busy; and, I see why.

We enjoy new experiences and this one qualifies. The skewers were excellent and our server, Shoko, matched our personality with the menu for a wonderful dining experience.

Food and ambiance was great. I thought the Filet was slightly over priced considering nothing else came with it. Sushi was fantastic. Creme brulee was a nice finish to the meal.

Not the very best sushi but pretty darn good. Fresh for sure. Not a ton of innovation but great classics

Food is awesome. I had the seared scallops and the truffle orzo. I have been going to this restaurant for 10 years. One of the best in Vegas. Dave was our waiter who has also been there like most of the waiters a long time. Great service as usual. I highly recommend😀

Everything was great, the hostess was very friendly and greeted us right away. Our server David was excellent as well and the food was delicious and always. Can’t wait to go back to the mirage and dine at Otoro. The sea Bass robata is one of my favorites as well as the fresh oysters on the half shell. The hamachi sashimi is so good also with the sauce, I highly recommend that appetizer as well as the rock where you cook your sirloin on it mmm

Waitstaff was attentive and friendly. Food was well presented, fresh and delicious. This restaurant is an oasis in a very busy casino/hotel. Very lush and comfortable surroundings. Highly recommended!

We came for our 1st wedding anniversary and were taken care of! Dave was our waiter and had fantastic suggestions! They (as a whole) did not hover over us for everything, they were quick with our food and drinks, water glasses were topped off regularly. We definitely would come back again next visit to Vegas!

We arrived when they opened, their first customers of the day. The server had to be tracked down to take our drink orders then tracked down again to deliver the remaining drinks. The food was good, although the server did not explain what was served on the chef sashimi plate. For the price, I expected a more attentive server.

The food, the food suggestions and the waitress, (Pauline) were so great. We did not know what to expect. We went because it was convenient to see the show at the hotel. We are still talking about how good it was.

What a great sushi and "tapas-like" grill place. Everything was delicious as always... a must do for us when in LV!

It was good but the lighting was like a headlight on our table. They said there was nothing they could do.

We came back a second night in a row because we were staying at the mirage and it was soo wonderful the night before. Will was our server this night and he was so great! The food was delicious! And the busses jiming was so great and made us smile. Thank you will and jiming for making our experience so great. The only thing that was a little off was a hostess didn’t even get her name black hair maybe. She was very unfriendly and when we asked for a booth table where it was less bright she made a face and didn’t say anything after seating us and walked away. Once will and jiming took over we almost forgot about the unfriendliness of the hostess because they were so great. The oysters were delicious and everything else we ordered.

We came on a Friday night, we were greeted and sat. Our server David was very nice and showed us what was good and everything was delicious! So glad he recommended some items that we would have never known about! Thank you David! The Chilean sea Bass robata was so good we got multiple rounds!! The hamachi was so yummy too

Exceptionally good sushi. Perfectly made. Unfortunately it is very expensive. We loved the seat we were given. Lovely moody lighting. Would return again but would not order the overpriced entrees.

It was my boyfriends birthday and we were out on a date for it. When I asked the server about oysters she said east coast and I asked what kind they were and she didn’t know then came back and said actually west coast ... she had no idea or insight on much on the menu...we ordered the rock sirloin and when my boyfriend went to the bathroom they came out with it and wanted to give me the demo but I wanted him to be there and they said they would come back when he got back and never did and we just had to figure it out... which I mean isn’t hard but isn’t this all about service and presentation!? The best service I was from the guy coming around filling up our water. Food was good but bad taste left from servers being sub par.

Our party of 3 had a 5 pm reservation. Everything on the menu was ala carte; I was looking for a restaurant $30 and under, but if I wanted a complete meal, it cost me more here. This was disappointing. I had the chicken katsu bowl which was very tasty. My one sister had the salmon which she said was very good, and my other sister ordered broccolini and California rolls. I really think she would have ordered differently if price was not a factor. She said her food was okay. It was restaurant week in Las Vegas, but we did not want dessert or an appetizer.

Food was just average- nothing special and the plating was even less memorable (it’s like the chef just gave up). This is not a typical Las Vegas dining experience at all. The skewers were boring and overcooked... skip this place if you’re trying to impress anyone because you’ll look like an idiot.

One of the WORST I’ve ever had in LV. Service was awkward (clearing before everyone was done; no chop sticks; never asked a few at our table—-but asked some others— if we wanted dessert) and s l o w. Really disappointing. The Mirage deserves better.

I had the tiger roll and some nigiri- the roll was great but as I was almost done with my meal I saw some small critters (baby bugs) on the table (I was sitting at the sushi bar) - after that I lost my appetite (they compensated the meal but I have been put off the idea of sushi for the past week)

Enjoyable meal with great service. Easy sushi venue with good cocktails, sake, and courses. We shared between two of us 2 rolls and 2 appetizers, each was tasty. Quick and well done service.

I have been here two times - I love this restaurant- I would highly recommend for any special occasion or just because... YOU won't be disappointed!
