The food and service is great here but I am not sure I can go back. It is so loud it is deafening and impossible to talk even to one other person.
Sophisticated decor, menu, and altogether pleasant experience. We love it - every time!
Excellent food with great experience
We had reservation but the restaurant made us wait a over an hour; then had slow service. Book reservation on open table, and later got a message that we missed the reservation. I think the front help forgot to check us in.
Fresh and delicious - loved the food, wait staff was great. Very non descript signage - if I had not have read up on this place i would have walked straight past it. Glad I didnt!
Food is always superb.
It was very loud though, so not great for conversation. Wonder if they could do some kind of sound proofing tiles on ceiling or something to reduce the noise.
I always enjoy OTD, lunch or dinner. Very good food and service. And hostess, I think her name is Valerie, always makes us feel welcome. OTD is consistently very good. Food is well prepared and always tastes very fresh and light.
I would recommend it without hesitation.
lovely but loud.
Delicious food. Interesting wines.
One of my favorite local eateries that is a destination restaurant in its own right. Great food. Great service. And always a good time!
The noise here is off the charts too loud, sat at a table for two and had to yell to be heard, really a downside as all else is quite good.
Food was great and friendly staff. We weren't in any rush but if you are it was a bit slow ... not just the food but like waiting for something as simple as hot water would take 10 min.
I had an excellent time in this quaint restaurant in Pac Heights. I love the Vietnamese fusion and the aesthetic is very spacious and clean. The food was super interesting and tasty. I highly recommend the grapefruit salad.
Great dinner. Love the tuna, fried chicken, bok choy and friends loved shaking beef. Great roll for appetizer made with sticky rice and big enough for three to share. Last time enjoyed calamari and ribs and broccoli also. An off shoot of slanted door with some more reasonable pricing and a lot less formal though little in baby area is formal. Staff very accommodating and good service.
Having been to many different places around the world, when I journey to San Francisco this is a place I go back to time and again. Some visits twice in a week. This past visit I had the fried chicken which is to die for. The beer and wine selection is eclectic, but I have always found something new and interesting. It can be flat out busy to moderately busy.
