OTD (aka Out the Door - Bush St.)
Weekend brunch offers popular brunch favorites.
20 walk-in counter seats are also available on a first-come basis.
Our group of five friends enjoyed a truly delicious and hospitable dinner.
Outstanding. Period. End of story.
Not quite up to the level of Slanted Doir but good ambiance, service.
Great food, service and pleasant surroundings.!Noise level very high but put up with it for everything else!
Great! If I could only hear what my wife was saying it would have been a perfect night out. Hard walls bounce sounds!
Venue was cold, food so so. No atmosphere and overpriced for the quality of the food.
My husband and I love OTD, for outstanding quality in every category. In fact, every time we visit San Francisco, it's at the top of our places to alway return to for a great meal. The quality of the fresh, seasonal foods is obvious, and it's traditional yet modern. We also love it's big sister restaurant , the Slanted Door.
Dinner was fabulous and we loved every minute! Food was superb, service was so outstanding and the ambience was just what we love. Don't miss out--enjoy a meal there!
Great food always great sound was too load for client
The dishes are phenomenal- a true culinary treat! I just wish I could hear my guest sitting across the table from me- with all hard surfaces, concrete, wood, metal, the noise gets crazy, fast. I'm not even old- but would likely order takeout rather than scream at my friends across the table. Sad.
Wait person was very helpful and kind. Appreciated food presentation Flavors divine.
The prices on line are very different than the actual prices.
Great spot, gets a bit loud and of course SF expensive but great service and food!
Very good, I’ll return.
Consistently delicious food and exceptional service! Love that Liz!
The food is always great and it was nice to see and try a couple of new seasonal dishes in the menu.
The food and service were terrific. The atmosphere is clean and modern. The menu is not vast but everything on it is cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the black cod. It's a nice place if you're in the neighborhood.
Nice neighborhood restaurant.
Very easy walk from our hotel in Japantown. Love the area! we went for brunch Sunday morning. Steamed buns, vegetarian spring rolls, grilled pork and chicken pho. ALL YUMMY! perfect ending to our long weekend in SF.
Always love OTD.
Very fresh tasting food
Very good service
Great but a little too noisy.
OTD has terrific food and service, but can be very noisy.
Great spot with a full wine list as well as other beverage options. We had the Hue Dumplings which were delicious, although each dumpling is a bit smaller than average and you are served 5 of them so it's full of flavor but won't fill you up. We then also had the Hodo Soy Tofu dish which comes with two different versions of tofu and went wonderfully with the lemongrass and mushrooms. Service was quick and attentive and the place has a fun and energetic vibe. It can get a bit loud with all the tables full so hearing each other was tough at times, but way worth it for the good food and happy vibe!
The food is consistently very good. We ordered about 5 different dishes and all were well prepared. The noise level was highre than I like it to be, but not as noisy as most very popular restaurants in town.
I NEVER miss a chance to eat here when in San Francisco. Hue dumplings spare ribs and green papaya salad are absolutely ‘worth eating’. Our server was very patient as we kept ordering additional dishes with every taste. As expected never disappoints
Bug in food
Small portion for a couple plates
Lost the love that slanted door gives in every category.
Pricy for the small portions of average food.
Really good food but so loud at lunch almost impossible to carry on a conversation. A shame as food good.
great food and great wine!
Love eating here , go all the time
With six of us, we were able to share lots of dishes. Everything was delicious! Amazing meeal, and a great place for a larger party.
Expected more from this restaurant based on the reviews. Ordered the ribs (very mediocrely done, meat was tough versus falling off the bone, sauce strewn over versus marinated), crab noodles (again rather mediocre) and Swiss chard (looked like it was amateurishly home cooked and tasted as such as well).
Best food EVER! Service is top-notch too. Open and airy with a view of the kitchen. Will be back time and time again. I prefer lunch to dinner items. Their buns and rice dishes are incredible.
food is always delicious and how nice to be able to enjoy this wonderful restaurant in a neighborhood instead of downtown.
First trip to OTD-Bush St, but the food was, as it is at the other sites, superb. Our server took good care of us, and the wine list was really fine. Great spot for refined Vietnamese cooking. Only compaint is the acoustics--OTB Bush is quite loud. But go...
Love OTD.. I would like to see both a freshen up of the menu for us more frequent guests.
Food was excellent. My only complaint was that it was so loud, it was difficult to have a conversation.
The Pho wasn't outstanding. Papaya salad was great, as usual. They were out of the two special teas that were on the menu and that the waiter recommended....at 12:30 in the afternoon? The restaurant was half empty for Saturday lunch, which is unusual.
Flavors are wow, subtle at first but then come alive. Perfectly cooked meat, fish, vegetables. The desserts will surprise you. So good, it's irresistible. Got to come back again.
We loved everything about OTD. Ambiance was lovely, service was excellent, and every dish was both beautiful and delicious! I was glad we got there early because it got very loud by the time we were ready to leave.
Always good. I would like to see a few more new dishes added to the menu.. love a good dumpling or sushi appetizer. Service is outstanding and boba drink is yum.
Fantastic food that was interesting, flavorful in a great environment.
