The historic Ostrich Inn Colnbrook, Heathrow, dates back 900 years to 1106–supposedly the third oldest inn in England. With bar, restaurant, private dining areas and function space as well as bedrooms it caters to a range of guest requirements and modern expectations.
Today you can enjoy honest, tasty pub food, fresh local ingredients, in relaxed and comfortable surroundings, yet only a stones throw from Heathrow Airport and main transport links. Serving wine by the glass or bottle and a choice of real ales.
Exterior exhibits a wonky timbered facade, but lots of care and attention has been spent bringing this former coaching inn up to date, expect dark slate floors, open fireplace, brilliant jewel colours & stained glass, as well as sand-blasted beams & a cobbled courtyard.

Had a great lunch, some of the best fish and chips ever paired with local beers and great service! Easy and free car park (don’t forget to put your registration into their system!). Lunch menu is quite short compared with the dinner options but still plenty of choices. Be sure to enjoy the history about the location while taking in the ambience!

First time eating here in a long time and was the best roast beef I have ever eaten out. Literally 10 out of 10 definitely be back to try the lamb.

We were in London and wanted a true pub experience. The Ostrich Inn delivered! Wow! Amazing food, great portions and the best atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We had to wait for friends who were stuck in traffic and by the time they arrived our dinner choices were no longer available, the alternate choice was very good

We stayed here ahead of a flight out of Heathrow. Lovely little inn with nice clean rooms, a bar and restaurant. In terms of the restaurant, it was a quiet evening and we were dining relatively late so the ambience was relatively quiet and quaint. The food was standard pub style fair, the fish and chips were nice it has to be said, although the portion of fish maybe on the small side. The burger was a little average but was nice enough. The staff were really friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. Overall a nice little place if staying here.

Lovely old pub with plenty of parking. The food is home. Cooked and fantastic. We had an enormous roast dinner which was really tasty with plenty of gravy. Staff were friendly and welcoming. A great place to meet and eat before heading to Heathrow which is just 15 minutes away!

This is a wierd review, because it has polar opposites. Firstly. It’s a pub, and very much a pub in the traditional sense, with a dining area separate. It feels ‘pubby’ rather than high cuisine and that’s not a bad thing. Service was fine, but without a smile or ‘helping’. Maybe they were just having a bad day. Starters were delicious. I’m not sure how much cooking there was, but, good all the same. I had the burger for main. You know how you can get beef patty’s frozen from supermarkets that are just disappointing. That. It felt like a very processed patty that didn’t have texture. I don’t think it was home made. Certainly didn’t taste like it. Perfectly edible and ‘fine’. But we chose there because the reviews were ‘awesome’. Unfortunately, not our experience The whole thing was fine, nothing to complain about. A pub dinner ahead of heading to the airport. The pub bit had a great vibe, and felt like it could be a really nice evening in there if you had a few hours.
