    This review is for Perla. This restaurant within Ostra really redeemed itself for Ostra for us. It was light and so good that we made back-to-back reservations for Perla. The best item was tuna tartar but could have been better if they included the fried wonton chips but usually does come with anything else. The wonton chips was an additional $5. The spicy tuna roll, ceviche roll were great too. Our least favorite rolls were snapper citrus roll (salmon would have been better) and smoked trout roll. They don’t import any fish and use locally caught fish so has a limited menu. Staff was super friendly

    This is for Ostra and was good. We had their beef satay, Indonesian fried rice, chicken pasta for the kids, and Jasmine rice tuna bowl. We also had 2 Negroni that were part of the drink special. Beef satay had good steak but didn’t taste like satay, and the dipping sauce was made from cashew which was strange. Kids loved the chicken pasta. Jasmine tuna bowl was light on flavor with under cooked rice. The highlight was the Indonesian fried rice and the flavor profile was spot on. The bamboo tunnel entry was quite epic.

    Food was delicious. Kids steak was also very good. The staff also allowed us to order sushi which is apparently a separate restaurant in a shared space. It was also very good and a nice addition to the meal. I really enjoyed Ostra in years past but appreciate the new menu and concept.

    We ate at the sushi counter and enjoyed everything we tried. The ceviche is a must try!

    Not a great driver experience to be honest The good : snapper filet was good, kids entrees were great The OK: the martinis barely made the cut The bad: let’s start with the service - service started fine with water and food orders, then went downhill with us being forgotten for the rest of the service The sushi arrived minus the ginger and wasabi - getting the servers attention was another challenge Water glasses were filled only by getting the servers attention again :( The dessert was underwhelming The cost of the meal did not justify the food or service quality
