OSTRA, a signature restaurant of Peninsula Papagayo, is a culinary gem led by Michelin-trained Chef Bruno Alves. Experience an extraordinary menu evolution and savor elevated, modern Costa Rican flavors re-imagined and infused with the best locally sourced farm-to-table ingredients. Sip classic cocktails at the bar or terrace and celebrate the essence of coastal dining. Also, we now offer Perla, a restaurant within a restaurant at the sushi bar. This modern sushi experience serves only local fish and operates Tuesday-Friday based on product availability.

OSTRA OSTRA !!! You did not disappoint! From the breakfast buffet to the dinner ,martinis , perla the sushi restaurant!! The staff especially from Esteban to our coffee girl they deserve raises all accommodating and always best service. They recognize us as we were returning customers! Will definitely be back tey different menu options.

great location ,the ambiance was lovely the grilled octopus was a bit tough and the gnocchi was overcooked the waitstaff were not intrusive

The service here was great and the food was very yummy and memorable! The DJ made the vibe so fun and I highly recommend trying one of their cocktails. They are so unique and curated to perfection!

Fantastic service and beautiful venue. However, we were not allowed to sit outside, even though there weren’t any clouds or wind - it was perfectly clear. Not sure why

Luis is an amazing server. Enjoyed the Asian seasoned ceviche. Flavors in the octopus became a bit muddied, enjoyed the preparation at Chao Pescao much more. The Pollo in curry sauce was much better. Chocolate sorbet perfect finish.

Very attentive service, exceptional food- loved the Perla (sushi) experience. The spicy mango sushi was my favorite, and never tired of the Kakigori :)
