Excellent small restaurant in the heart of Chianti. Food was amazing and the local wines were supreme. Highly recommended for a special occasion!!!

La location è molto bella e caratteristica.
Il menu molto interessante offre una rivisitazione dei piatti della tradizione con uso di materie prime di qualità. Ottima carta dei vini.
Sevizio molto professionale, cordiale e disponibile.

One of the best meals we had on our three week trip through Italy. We did the six course chef’s choice tasting menu and everything was absolutely outstanding. The tortellini pasta stuffed with rabbit, rabbit & hazelnut jus, and wild fennel was a particular standout.

A highly recommended restaurant with a lot of great reviews. We went for the 4 course tasting menu as we could choose the courses that we wanted to eat. The presentation was beautiful unfortunately the taste and seasoning was not. We started with a venison tartare with a berry jus topped with burrata and olive. It was very underwhelming, with almost no taste and no salt. It was quite small, but it was just the start.

The second dish was a pasta dish with rabbit and fennel. Again, the dish was presented beautifully but lacking in flavour and seasoning.

The third was the venison loin with carrot puree. The venison was cooked perfectly (obviously cooked sous vide) again no seasoning and it was only 3oz (90g) of meat total with a spoonful of carrot puree. The smoked strawberries on the venison was the highlight of the meal.

The dessert was a deconstruction of Tiramisu. The dish itself tasted good, but none of the flavours listed on the menu were present. The white chocolate was indiscernible. The freezer dried raspberries were nice though.

The meal itself was decent enough, it's just that for over a hundred Euros, we had higher expectations. The food was missing personality, flavour and we both left hungry.

Volpaia è da vedere !! L’ideale è arrivare per l’aperitivo! L’osteria ha una terrazza nei mesi estivi bellissima , il servizio è buono e la cucina anche ma fanno porzioni davvero minimali che non si sposano con importi toscani!! Abbiamo preso un antipasto le tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale ( 3 tagliatelle) i ravioli di coniglio ( n 6). Tanto che per la fame siamo stati costretti ad ordinare addirittura un terzo primo ovvero i pici all’aglione... ne avevevamo veantenuna forchettata a testa!! Questa penuria di cibo visto anche il prezzo non economicissimo ci hanno non soddisfatto.

Bellissima cena di anniversario, location spettacolare nel cuore del borgo, luce soffusa e atmosfera rilassata.
Servizio curato e mai invadente, con professionalità e calore.
Un' entusiasmante esperienza attraverso il menù degustazione "mi fido di te", scelto per intero dallo Chef Marco, e sapientemente spiegato e descritto da Nadia,che attraversa la cucina Toscana lasciando traspirare esperienza internazionale attraverso la reinterpretazione e l'evoluzione dei gusti e delle tecniche di preparazione, il tutto accompagnato da una selezione di vini dell'azienda.
Non avremmo potuto scegliere meglio per la nostra serata.
